    3:24 - That's such a brilliant idea! I have a cardigan of a similar model and stopped wearing it because the style is rather loose and casual. I was ready to take it apart and start a new project from it, but I tried wearing it wrapped like that and it completely changed the style. Looks much better!

    Thank you for sharing your finished projects with us! I think they're all beautiful and I honestly would've never noticed any mistake, ever. I am the same way though, I can't see anything but my mistakes. I think we all need to be a little kinder to ourselves, lol. Knitting is no joke and the fact that we can actually make and wear items that we make is pretty remarkable!

    The last dress is so nice! Because of the thin shoulder straps it reminds me of one of Rosery Apparel dresses. And I love the classic chunky jumper, I think I have to buy the pattern and give it a go 😃 I’ve been scared of big pieces, so far I only did a baby jumper and baby cardigan, but maybe it’s finally time to do something for myself haha

    The black linnen dress - Have you tried adding a facing or twill tape on the neck to conceal the fray? I don't think you need to recycle it.

  • @FatBestialSwan
    @FatBestialSwan 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think linen is my favorite material ever. I think wrinkles are part of the fabric's charm. Also linen gets softer and less crispy the more you wear and wash it anyway, and therefore slightly less wrinkly.

    Your wardrobe is so cute and fun! Especially the pieces with visible mistakes in them, I think that gives self-made clothing look... I dunno, can clothing look like it was made with happiness? Anyways, you've definitely inspired a want in me to make my own clothes from these videos. I already knit and crochet, and my mom can teach me how to sew if I really go that far. I've only made hats, arm warmers, and scarves before. I think for now I'll start off learning how to make socks and work my way towards learning to make sweaters and cardigans too!

    Only 2 to 3 years!?!? Wow...you look like you have been doing it for many many years. My mom was an advent knitter and seamstress. She sewed professionally and taught me when I was very young. I dropped it and just picked up knitting again a year ago and I am not as advanced as you! Very impressive.

    I make a lot of gifts, so I don’t often have the chance to really see all that I’ve made. That’s why I like social media sites like Ravelry as I can see a list of everything and appreciated ie much I’ve grown.

ELASTIC CAN BE ADDED TO THE SLEEVES TO KEEP THEM UP! HOPE TO SEE IT SOON! EVEN IF IT A FREE PATTERN I WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!🦋LOVE ALL YOUR PROJECTS!🌻

    Nice job on all the sweaters. QUESTION: when holding 2 yarns do you increase the needles size?

    • @WellLovedKnits
      @WellLovedKnits  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Good question! Depends what kind of fabric you’re trying to make. Going up a needle size will impact how loose the stitches will appear. Naturally using two of the same yarn held together will likely work better in a larger needle size than what is recommended for one strand of the same yarn.

    • @dcantu-paez4308
      @dcantu-paez4308 3 ปีที่แล้ว
