That wrap sweater looks 100% store bought...amazing work!! The floral print mock neck is not grandma at all -- it's cool af and you should wear it! Maybe save the rest of your wedding dress fabric for...a christening gown??? No rush here...just a suggestion lol.
You are one of The people that got me to save money for years to buy a sewing machine ❤ Today I finished my first skirt, and I am planning to make a whole wardrobe! ❤❤
Jenna I’ve always been impressed by you, but to see all your sewing/knitting/ crocheted accomplishments in one showing is, well just WOW!! You have been so fun to watch from just starting knitting onto knitting a full pair of pants !!! When you said you wanted to knit pants I thought, no way! But you did it and they are great 👍🏻 You are a joy to follow 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Soak your acrylic sweater in cheap hair conditioner, and/or wash with a ton of fabric softener! Most of them will soften up a bit with a little care. I’ve been knitting and crocheting for practically my whole life but have rarely made anything wearable for myself. You have been so inspiring to me to just go with the process and not (k)nitpick every mistake.
I know what you can do with those fancy prom dresses! It's summer now. Go outside into some beautiful location like a garden with colorful flowers or ferns or go to a place that looks like a forest... Or a lake, meadow, etc. And go do a fun photoshoot! You can have fun & feel pretty. And have great photos. 🌼🌞🌲⛵
yesterday i thrifted a mens XL polo shirt that was from disneyland and it had an embroidered mickey on it and it was sage green and i turned it into a polo dress and i am literally so proud of it
Your wedding dress is beautiful. Those “least favorite” crochet tanks I’d turn into shoulder bags or add to new outfits -if I wasn’t going to wear them. Of course there’s always unraveling and repurposing. Tnx for showing -really like what you’ve made.
everything in your wardrobe is amazing! my favourites are: sewing - your wedding dress knit - the wavey sweater with the orange, cream, green and grey crochet - the ripple sweater from wool and the gang
Wouldn't it be great that we all wear peaces that we made, even those "unsuccessful" ones. All of your peaces have aliveness in them. And I was smiling through the video, love your energy. Dresses are absolutely amazing, wear them please!
OMG, woman. Please, wear those dresses! You look FANTASTIC in them (specially the bright red one). They could surely be dressed down for you to wear everywhere in the summer.
Love this!! Please just remember there is the Etsy boycott from April 11 - 18th, so if you buy any of those patterns try to wait til its over, so we can help support more small crafters/makers
Wow, I love the terracotta sweater🔥. I started watching your videos to get used to English speaking (and to learn how to make a patchwork top) because I am planning to move to Canada (from Ukraine). And I was very pleased to see that you faced the same problems in sewing as I did, and choose the same styles and colors, and also sewed a wedding dress a year ago. These coincidences are very inspiring. this means that I will find like-minded people in a new country🥹❤️
You should make a video where you fix the details of the clothes you don't wear. That way it forces you to do it and you can actually wear all your clothes. For the crocheted acrylic top you might be able to transform it into a bag. Or simply line it with a more agreeable fabric. Love your creativity and your very personal style.
Awesome! I want to see a video of you dyeing the hand knits/crochets that you don't like the colours of into colours you do like! And that acrylic top you like but don't wear - try putting it through the wash/dry cycle a few times. It shoudl soften right up :)
The shirt with the circle cut outs was unique and really flattering. The knit bralette and skirt you could wear with a blazer and boots or tights in winter.
I absolutely LOVE the pink sweater the most because it's so creative... but I agree, I"m blonde too and greens and blues are the colours I wear the best. I do have tons of amazing pinks in my yarn stash and I do plan on using them. Love that quilt jacket too!
so many cool pieces! you could use the rest of the wedding dress fabric and make something to wear for your first aniversary (or your 5 years or whatever)
You should use your leftover wedding fabric to make something special for your baby (when/if you get there in life). Like a christening gown or going-home-from-the-hospital outfit.
I love the pink quilt coat more than anything in the whole world I swear I would die to own that it is the most gorgeous thing 😭😭😭 I subscribed for that coat it has my heart❤️
This is so inspiring! I love everything. The dresses you made would even look cute with the top you were wearing underneath to make it more casual if you wanted an everyday look.
You’ve made so many improvements, Jenna! Proud of you! You should definitely make a video where you “re-make” some of your older pieces to show how you’ve progressed! ❤️
I think its great that you have so many green clothes. one of the steps to making a capsule wardrobe is picking a color scheme. I would say yours is (lime) green, (baby) blue, and creams/whites
In a style essence group people are guessing at your wardrobe style essences! Seeing mainly Natural Gamine with maybe some Classic and Ethereal. You look beautiful and if it resonated I could see you rocking a spunky, choppy Gamine bob or lob too, maybe with some playful color on the tips. Also that low style of back inspires me; I find it very pretty.
Ooo idk if anyone’s mentioned this, but soak ur acrylic crochet vest in a water fabric softener bath and make sure to wash it with fabric softener and woolite each time afterwards, that should solve the itchy scratchy yarn problem!
Prepare for a long comment! My favorites was: The granny square sweater(blue), The short quilted jacket and the red dress. They were so cute and really a nice pieces. I was blown away about the wedding dress, damn that was really neat! The best thing with making clothes is fact that you know that you made it by yourself :) Really love following you. Im from Sweden and not often than not, trying not to write comments because I'm afraid of misspelling things...
You’re a great designer. Even if you have the pieces you said you didn’t like so much were really nice, like that pink sweater look great on you. If you think the color is not so good for you just wear lipstick or something. I thought it looked beautiful. You can still add pockets to that pair of shorts that you said didn’t have any. You can open the seam, or add patch pockets, even on the sides, which could look cool.
i would love to see a recreation of that blue/red/green stripey knitted sweater!! it would also be so fun to see you re-make some of your first crochet tops/tank tops :) I've sooo badly been wanting to figure out how to crochet myself a tank top. i always struggle to find tank tops that fit and flatter me in the ways i want (like a more unisex fit), and it would be awesome to see you make some tanks and show us how to do so, especially with the weather getting warmer soon :) 💐💗
Thank you for your videos. I find them so that inspiring. I like that you include both your great successes as well as the not so perfect pieces. I love the videos where you have used granny squares to make sweaters
I'm using plaids or otherwise lined or graphic fabrics you need to match the lines up at the front an back seams or make them go diagonal from the same point on each gore of a skirt.
Wowww! Definitely something to be proud of, this is so amazing! I used to have a handful of homemade clothing in my closet, I've since grown out of most of it, but this is inspiring me to get back into it. Thank you!
You are so talented! It’s so great to see young people who love to knit, crochet, and sew! Does your husband wear a neck tie? Have you ever considered crocheting one?
To distract from the emoji top not being centered, it might be an idea to add a little something to the side where there’s more space. Like perhaps an embroidered heart, or something, to make it look intentional. You can try how it looks, by making a mock-up in Procreate. Or just cut out a design in paper, to play around with the placement, before committing. FYI, I’m very fond if green as well, so no shame here!
As a fellow Canadian, I know what the cold is like lol. I'm in Edmonton, so pretty close by to you. I'm a little bit jealous because your in British Columbia, you don't have the bitterness of the winters that we have. I'm originally from Saskatchewan, where it gets to be -40+ celcius sometimes. Anyways, I really love how creative you are Jenna, I really admire everything you make and the things you can do with the usual pieces, you are able to make something so cool. I always watch your videos all the time. ❤
I love all the clothes you made the wedding dress was beautiful and the sun dresses you could wear them out on dinner dates and I am hoping to be that good at sewing so I can start making my own clothes but you do very good work ❤️
That seems like a pretty big wardrobe. I love the idea of making all my own clothes. It is funny to see warm knitted skimpy things don't know where you are at I have pretty dramatic seasons but I do do something somewhat similar with layering of wearing like a thermal layer fitted long sleeve top with a fitted legging then a shorter sleeve and skirt or dress so I have the warmth of long sleeves and the added warmth in the core but more freedom of movement with less bulk for moving around.
It’s crazy how many pieces you’ve made. All by yourself!! They all look amazing. Even the first sweater you knitted, I think it’s so cute! 😍
Wow I wish I had your level of curiosity and skill. Impressive 👏🏽
Me twoooooooooooooooooooooo
That wrap sweater looks 100% store bought...amazing work!! The floral print mock neck is not grandma at all -- it's cool af and you should wear it! Maybe save the rest of your wedding dress fabric for...a christening gown??? No rush here...just a suggestion lol.
I think this is a great idea! If you don’t end up needing it for a christening gown you can sew some lingerie…?
Do you guys use acrylic or Cotton for clothing? (Crochet)
@@temsumenlaimsong9000 always cotton, acrylic is less expensive but way worse in the long run!
The wedding dress was amazing 🤩
I LOVE everything ❤
my fav... the orange and pink embroidered fabric fancy gown. oooh la la
The "tinallly fime" and "let me down--don't let me down" made me laugh sooo hard. The text on the screen was so good😂
You’re the person who inspired me to start making my own clothes!
Are sure
2:41 you can remove your dogs hair with any adhesive or ducke tape just keep tapping on it with the tape❤❤❤😊
Your wedding dress was absolutely beautiful!! You are such an inspiration 💕
You are one of The people that got me to save money for years to buy a sewing machine ❤ Today I finished my first skirt, and I am planning to make a whole wardrobe! ❤❤

You are a joy to follow 👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love how honest you are and that you show your growth and mistakes. Even though we have totally different styles
The 'Prom' dress is soooo cute. You have to wear it. Same with the red one. You don't need an occasion! Just wear them!!! LOVE
I am 59 and would not wear any of these items but I enjoy witnessing your creativity and energy. It's all inspiring!
Is acrylic meant to feel like not as soft because i bought half wool half acrylic and one of them felt more congested?

Wear that prom dress out on a summer day shopping with friends and getting lunch. It's beautiful and you don't need a formal occasion to be fancy.
guys. she MADE her wedding dress. can we just have a moment.👏🏼
Your wedding dress is beautiful. Those “least favorite” crochet tanks I’d turn into shoulder bags or add to new outfits -if I wasn’t going to wear them. Of course there’s always unraveling and repurposing. Tnx for showing -really like what you’ve made.

I love your wedding dress but the coat and jacket made of thrifted quilts were my favourite.
The wrap top is beautiful and you definitely improved it by dyeing it. Your wedding dress is stunning!
Love this!! Please just remember there is the Etsy boycott from April 11 - 18th, so if you buy any of those patterns try to wait til its over, so we can help support more small crafters/makers
Wait why is there an etsy boycott?? I thought they were a good company
im sooo late but is even an boycott
I love the greenish top with holes down the front.

I looove the dresses! You can wear them casually as well, they are just so beautiful, especially the prom dress. You also make them look amazing 🪲✨

Love your creativity and your very personal style.
That pink jumper is STUNNING and stunning on you 👚
I love the quilted jackets so much. They would pair really well with the wedding dress, especially the long one.

I've honestly just been looking for the motivation to alter my current wardrobe and it's nice to think of this as an eventual end goal
My fav is the wedding dress. Thanks for showing us how it looked on. Loving your humor and talent.
You should use your leftover wedding fabric to make something special for your baby (when/if you get there in life). Like a christening gown or going-home-from-the-hospital outfit.
Your wedding dress is so beautiful! You are motivating me to finish my current wips
Wedding dress is the cutest
The wedding dress is absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed seeing everything you have made.. also loved the the rug too.
I love piiiink and it looks so good on u
The wrap sweater is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful colour!!! But don’t be shy on pink/red I think it looks amazing on you :)
Thank you for mentioning mood sewciety! I didn't know mood had free sewing patterns and they are so good!
My favourite is definitely yyour wedding dres
I love the pink quilt coat more than anything in the whole world I swear I would die to own that it is the most gorgeous thing 😭😭😭 I subscribed for that coat it has my heart❤️
Make a look for an anniversary photo shoot with leftover fabric from your wedding dress!
Might have to draw some inspiration from your crochet sleeves!
the shirt ur wearing is so cute
I think its great that you have so many green clothes. one of the steps to making a capsule wardrobe is picking a color scheme. I would say yours is (lime) green, (baby) blue, and creams/whites
I am so obsessed! Your channel has quickly become my favourite to watch since I first found it, I feel so inspired by you 🥺❤️❤️
I honestly love the fit of your 1rst sweater haha because i like the large sleeves

Jenna asking us if we’re doing dandy today always makes my day 💜🙆🏻♀️
Omg you deserve to be proud of that!
Hey, for your dark pants you could try block printing them or bleach washing?
I’m very impressed with your knitted wrap sweater and the knitted pants. And your wedding dress is gorgeous. 😊❤

😃
that long jacket looks so nice for cold winters.
Thank you for your videos. I find them so that inspiring. I like that you include both your great successes as well as the not so perfect pieces. I love the videos where you have used granny squares to make sweaters
I love everything you have made I tried to make socks but did not finish.
I'm using plaids or otherwise lined or graphic fabrics you need to match the lines up at the front an back seams or make them go diagonal from the same point on each gore of a skirt.
In case you don’t wear the third crochet top you made you should definitely turn it into a tote bag🤩✨ looks awesome!
You have a full collection there! It's so beautiful 🥰
The one to not wearing for acrylic could be bearable for layered look with blouse underneath, collar sticking up out the top
Wowww! Definitely something to be proud of, this is so amazing! I used to have a handful of homemade clothing in my closet, I've since grown out of most of it, but this is inspiring me to get back into it. Thank you!
My favorite was the wedding dress and prom dress and red dress so beautiful

The weeding great is also my favorite! Well done!
im having a crisis over the top at 8:57, I want it so bad! It seriously reminds me of something a popstar from the early 2000s would wear
Oh Wow 🤩 love ❤️ the knitting 🧶
I love all the clothes you made the wedding dress was beautiful and the sun dresses you could wear them out on dinner dates and I am hoping to be that good at sewing so I can start making my own clothes but you do very good work ❤️

The greenish top at around 8 mins is just a DReam 😍
The fabulous blanket coat
please these are so cute and creative! most of the things I've crocheted are not worth wearing outside (am still learning though!!)
so skilled! you could totally turn the long dresses into sundresses! i could see you wearing them all the time then.
wedding dress was perfect. So beautiful
