The outside slide out grill is a really nice addition. Camping is not the same without an outside grill. Some of my best memories when i was a kid was smelling those burgers on the grill mixed with the campfire smoke after me ,my friend, sister and cousin were starving after playing in the river. Great memories. Ones i will never forget. I am 46 now. This generation of kids ,well most of them are only worried about the Xbox or Playstation and sitting for 10 hours in front of a screen. I am American but have been living in the UK for nearly 8 years now. I always used to drive Jeeps back in the states, but when I got here I bought a MINI Countryman All Wheel Drive. I love the Countryman, especially on these English roads. It makes me feel like a proper Brit. However, I am 6'4 230 lbs and I needed something a bit more rugged and higher, so I looked into getting it lifted and getting some aggressive all terrains and a bullbar added and a tire on the back. We drove the MINI from London down to the north of France through the middle of France to the south of France to the North of Spain all the way down to the South of Spain where my wife's family lives. It was amazing. However, we didn't plan well and ended up sleeping in the countryman at camp sites twice during the trip, unintentionally. This made me think about caravans. When I started looking into caravans, I could tow in the Countryman and it couldn't tow anything more than a couple thousand pounds. I have two small boys rapidly becoming as big as me. I realized I needed something with more towing capacity. I never ever ever ever thought I would be a truck owner. To be honest I am still not officially one. However, it's pretty clear if you are towing anything worth towing, you need a truck. A Hummer won't do it, an SUV won't do it. You need a Ram or a Ford and I thought that kind of sucked, until I found out about Truck Campers. Now I can't comprehend why anyone would buy an SUV at all. This camper you have here is badass sir. Keep it up.

I like that you put together a Godzilla-based version of this truck and that you tested it (I also watched your sand dunes video) to see how it really performed compared to the diesel. I think you're the first expedition vehicle builders I've heard of who have attempted this with the F-550. It's nice to have this option available for those who value its features, also taking into account that many people who drive offroad prefer the behavior of gasoline engines over that of the diesel ones. It also removes the need to deal with the diesel exhaust fluid refills. Keep up the good work!
GREAT DEMO & PRESENTATION! - I think I have found the best camper Truck after many days of research. I am going to buy this F550 Camper truck after 3 months when I have enough money in hand to make full down payment. Everything is built perfectly and better than EarthRoamer Camper Trucks. . But this one will be number 1 in the world if manufacturer added these items: - such as - (1) Washing/Dryer machine under oven. (2) Satellite Wifi connection to Starlink. (3) Fire Extinguisher.. - Anyway I like this F550 model very much. I will purchase soon. RV Lover from L.A., California.
We have put all those items in some of our other trucks. But not everyone wants them so we don’t include them. Except the fire extinguisher. That’s a must.
What a great build, and the very best suspension system that money can buy. Hands down LiquidSpring suspension is the very best for reliability, durability, plus the fact LS suspension requires almost no maintenance for the life of the system. The truck costs about 100k if it’s loaded, the suspension costs around 20k for baseline model. So you have 80k to do everything else. People don’t want to admit these builds are going to COST around 250-300 easily. They need profit to pay people, so don’t get mad when you see sticker prices 350++ easily. There is a reason Adrenalin, Truckhouse, GXV are all coming in around 400-450. That’s what the market will bear.

Pretty crazy specs on this build. Definitely justifies the price. The only thing is the 5 gallon cassette toilet. We are a family of 5 and that only lasts 2 days for us. I always have anxiety about finding a place to empty and many public restrooms don't like it dumped into their toilets...
Very nice rig. Only quibbles I see are with such a small black tank and gray tank. Given the 100+ gallons of fresh water, this rig is designed to stay out boondocking for quite some time. I would think 5 gallons would fill up pretty quick, forcing you to go au' natural. Same with the gray. It seems like it would fill up pretty quick.
Thanks for the feedback, We test our trucks extensively and haven't run into issues with this yet. Since your grey water is just from your shower and sink we find there are plenty of safe places to just let it drain while you camp without anything harmful impacting where you are at. As for the black tank Cassete you can buy extra's making it super easy to store 1-2 extra Cassete's that you could quickly switch out if needed.

Beautiful rig. I watched this looking for the passthrough, and you guys still haven't done it. I feel like you're missing out on a huge differentiator from the standard pickup camper market.
Thanks for your feedback. We have done pass throughs on our expedition style trucks. But on our overland series not a single customer has requested one. The advantage of them is you don’t have to get out in the weather to access your camper. Also nice if you were in a bad situation and needed to leave quickly. But lots of disadvantages also. It’s $10,000 more. Most of that is in the dual captain chairs in the back seat. The center console is not an easy task to climb over. Especially since most our customers are not in their 20’s. You are also now conditioning 2 separate spaces for heat and AC. You get to listen to all your gear rattle around and another reason is security. It’s a lot easier to break into the truck than it is into the camper. But if a customer wants a pass through. We would be excited to build it for them.
Hey Judd I was watching your video on this F550 Overland truck camper. I think yall done an amazing awesome job on it! That looks great, also that it is 16500 lbs max, that pretty much fits into the EU 7,5t license rule but I guess it is for US customers only? Is that really the outside shower? It looks more like the air compressor hose hook up. I probably would prefere the Diesel.
Not enough of a payload on a 350. Our trucks are made for off roading. Slide outs are not very strong and can’t take much abuse off road. They also add a lot of weight.
Well you said it yourself when your spending that kind of money on a truck camper why skimp out on the upgrade for the diesel motor I would never have plans to go outside of the US other then through Canada because I live in Alaska and need to be able to tow my toys also
You put all of this work and effort into a vehicle like this and the first thing I noticed is how the spare tire carrier is flopping around. Attention to detail.
We want to know where the toilets water goes? and how do you clean all that? is there a system for that? ... We want answers for all theses questions....
Go to 15:00 in the video where we show you the 5 gallon Cassette toilet made by Dometic. It's a super easy system, you just pull out the cassette and dump it into your nearest toilet/portapotty. Then you slide it back into place and your good to go. Every few months it's helpful to pour hot water and soap into the cassette and rinse it out but you dump it the same way.
So what do you do when it go under ? We had- 44 and dark most of the time in 5 month ?? Most of our house dont use AC we insolate. Both for cold and warm. And Electric and fluids sucks when cold
Our customers value hearing about the engine options available to them so they can better make their decision of chassis and motor. Next time just skip forward 👍
Am I the only one who thinks these are so stupid. Can’t go on any trails, they weigh a million pounds cost a million dollars and not one buying this will take it to anywhere without full hook ups
@@tt4569 When a customer buys our trucks they spend two days at our 630 acre off road ranch learning how to drive these off road. We also threaten them that if they ever bring one to an RV park we repo it. 😂 check out our other TH-cam videos especially the sand dunes one where you will see these are much more capable than anyone thinks.
😅Don't know the price, but I'll bet it's over $500K easily. For that dough, I will not tolerate a wet bath. Obviously, a cheapskate short cut. No doubt, there will be a lot of sales targets, with more money than sense, who pony up their hard earned scratch for this rig. Good luck when it's time sell it, the depreciation will be astronomical. Hard to gage the owner; a con man or a genuine good guy? A buyer will find out the hard way.
They come fully equipped as seen at $450,000. Wet bath makes a lot of sense in order to save space in this series. You should look at our Expedition series truck. We have a separate shower and toilet area in that build. www.adrenalinind.com/projects/adrenalin-bae-6x6-%22frank-the-tank%22
Wet baths depend on the floor space. I’ve used some, like the Airstream Basecamp that were very frustrating to use, no room at all to turn, bend or reach around. Others like in a class B… worked okay! But I’ve yet to find a waterproof TP protector. LOL!
Yes having indoor plumbing is nice, but not necessary, the more electronics you guys put in these rigs the less I want them. You know the saying, does a bear shit in the woods? Yes, and so does the outdoorsman. And do you back that Ford chassis and powertrain? Along with the limited bullshit warranty Ford gives? I don't think so. I don't care if it's diesel or gasoline, they're both garbage now because of the fake climate change bullshit! I've got enough for 3 of these rolling piles of shit, but I'm going to buy a 60s or 70s F-250 or a F-350 with the motor I want and a real manual Allison tranny and I'll find an old truck camper and do my own thing for about 300,000 or more less than this, good luck, I'm sure you'll find some moron.
Enough with the stupid four door trucks/chassis!? How about a simple two door or an extended cab? Even most yo-yos who think they need that, don't use them anyway? 😂😄 I wouldn't buy this rig for the simple fact that it has four doors and a 10 speed crappy tranny that's plagued with problems! It's total garbage, give me a 5 or 6 speed tranny with a bullet proof rear axle and a motor like the old school 351 Cleveland or a 460. You guys will be sitting on a lot of campers pretty soon, especially the high end ones. Not everyone has the play money since we have the president with the most votes in history. 😆🤣🤣🤣😂
You boys in the camper industry have it all wrong. The real outdoorsman and regular families that want to go camping with a little bit of off roading maybe to get there don't want or need a rig that costs more than their home!? I can afford this rig, but I'm not stupid and I don't like shiny things? I don't need garbage electronics and solar garbage? I personally make a substantial amount and I'm single, no payments except for rent and phone bill. I've been a hunter and outdoorsman my whole life and have probably spent half of my life outdoors? You're not giving the public what they actually need or want? Let me guess, you're asking about 300,000-350,000 for a rig that's basically for a wannabe movie star that knows nothing about hunting or the great outdoors? You're excluding fisherman, kayakers, surfers, hikers, people who are into dirtbikes, or mountain biking? You might get lucky and find some sap that doesn't know anything but has the dollars and later down the road someone will pick it up for around 50,000 and it'll need some work.

Well you said it yourself when your spending that kind of money on a truck camper why skimp out on the upgrade for the diesel motor I would never have plans to go outside of the US other then through Canada because I live in Alaska and need to be able to tow my toys also
Well let's get you set up in a diesel one then! Thanks for watching.
Is there an option for a pass through?
Yes. It is an option.
Would you guys be able to build that overland body on an older truck by chance? Or have the overland body a shell that we could be buy for older rigs?
Yes we can build on anything.
@@adrenalin.industries awesome. Thank you so much for answering my question.
Hi, im interested in this. Do you guys do a fully winterized rig?.like im planning to take this to antarctic.-30 to - 70 °F.
Thanks
Yes we do. You might want to consider the gas motor over the diesel.
Does this come with free off-road towing? 😊
What is the overall length, bumper to bumper?
It’s 29 feet long.
You put all of this work and effort into a vehicle like this and the first thing I noticed is how the spare tire carrier is flopping around. Attention to detail.
It's on there very solid. It's a super robust system. All vehicle move a little bit.
That thing is comically huge.
So is the sand dune testing in 4WD high range or low range?
Both
Did you guys change the computer settings on the engine when you switched to singles?
Yes, we have an adapter that adjusts it for the larger tire size. It also makes it so your speedometer is accurate.
Are Liquid Springs any good ?
Did we not convince you well enough? 😂 lol we are just a little obsessed with them.
Love it ! I'm curious about the house power how much lithium ?
Godzilla 7.3L gas Engine 350 HP and 468 LB-Ft.
Two 360 AH Expion360 360 Lithium Batteries (720 Amp Hours Total)
@@adrenalin.industries THANK YOU ! Its fantastic !
This car is great. It's got buckstop mirrors, buckstop seats, buckstop dashboard...😅
ok i am interested . How much?
Nicely equipped at $450,000
I would use 12v ac & tv
Air conditioning is 12 volt. TVs are 120.
What about auto leveling with the liquid spring @ camp?
Good looking truck. What is the curb weight?
16,500 pounds
Dont the liquid spring freez we have -40 celcius -40 Fahrenheit
They are operational to -50 degrees Fahrenheit.
So what do you do when it go under ? We had- 44 and dark most of the time in 5 month ?? Most of our house dont use AC we insolate. Both for cold and warm. And Electric and fluids sucks when cold
And all the water tanks and so on and when the temperature switch from +2 celcius to 40 below in 12h
Шикарный дом! В нашем регионе за его стоимость можно купить несколько квартир)))
How much?
2023 pricing for this truck is $450,000
Didn’t think rich people went camping
Dumb guys don't create things they have a passion for!
The question is should I sell my house for this to live in? 🤔
We think yes! Give us a call when your ready. Haha
Aluminum is not easier to have repaired than traditional steel.
We were implying that it’s easier to fix than fiberglass or carbon fiber like others use to build their campers.
Price ;
Fully equipped at $450,000
If you have clothes to hang, then you have no business camping!? 😆🤣
Drive it into mexico? Kiss it goodbye.
Where’s the pass-thru?? 😬
We can add a pass through to any of our trucks if the customer requests it. There are pros and cons to it so we wait for the customer to decide.
Is that BULLETPROOF ???
@@brenchomsky3515 no just ugly proof 😀
Price?
$450,000
Earthroamer's price is a RIP-OFF !!!
I didn’t expect a video about gas vs diesel lecturer.
I had to click off before I got to see the beautiful camper
Our customers value hearing about the engine options available to them so they can better make their decision of chassis and motor. Next time just skip forward 👍
Diesel is overrated for off-roading emissions killed the diesel
WOW! Those leather seats will give me an alternative for food? I won't have to hunt for a day or two?
as soon as I see exterior speakers I think 1990's RV and I'm out
If that's your only hold up then we would be happy to keep them off your build. lol
You were out because you couldn’t afford it in the first place bud
400k for a truck camper. Lol
For a full size that’s not terrible, the Tacoma conversions cost about the same
Another imitation earthroamer that is ridiculously priced
For guys with too much money and very tiny "d's!" Ha!
Translation: You’re poor and jealous.
LOL!
Cheaper than the Earthroamer.
Он будет выгодным, если его использовать 4 месяца в году, если меньше, то не выгодно
Sad old man yells at cloud.
What's the fuel tank capacity ?
26.5-66.5 gallons depending on how it’s specked from the factory. Larger tanks can be added.
