Power Cut Equals Alarms

  • Huge power surge (I assume) knocked out half the town, there should be very many streets & houses lit up behind the terrace lit by the solitary light.
    Apologies for the rustling sound, spur of the moment phone recording.

    All those alarms would have a dead pannel battery means the alarm system has no power. But the bell boxes outside like the ones in the video are going off using its own backup battery (SCB) not from the alarm pannel itself. The pannal will not be ringing inside the house. The bell box is detecting it as a tamper. Very common to find in many estates with alarms fitted. It used to be VERY loud where I used to live at Loughborough. My street at Loughborough was fitted with ventcrofts as it all going HI-LO continuously for 20 minutes.

      One sounds like a Honeywell AG6 (the higher pitched whoop)
