I tried this recipe yesterday and it turned out a perfect red velvet cookie ever!!! It was soft, chewy and the key is not overly sweet. I put cream cheese inside which is double yummy😋 Thank you for the recipe❤️❤️
Can’t wait to try these! And thank you so much for putting the cookie dough weight in the description… It helps immensely to know the weight of my cookie dough balls😊❤
You have a very good way of telling. I have told each and every thing in gms. You have learned a lot from me. You are a very good human being.
*Use Natural Cocoa Powder for this recipe.* Dutch process cocoa will cause the cookie to turn brown/maroon 😢 If you only have Dutch process cocoa powder at home, put 2 tbsp instead of 1/4 cup. Happy Baking! 😊
Hiii won’t the substitution cause differences in texture?
Mam, how about unsweetened cocoa powder(Hershey brand)
Thank you for sharing gonna make this for my sister she's been craving for soft and chewy version
how did it turn out?
I am going to give this a try. Thank you for sharing this recipe ❤
Made these today and so so good!! I should have lowered the Baking time i think, since i made smaller cookies, but still turned out great. Cant wait to play with this recipe and try again

hello, in what temperature if I will cook the cookies in a air fryer? thankyou
Hello, really nice cookies :) what make your cookie dough shiny like that? vinegar?
Just wondering what's the reason you use the white vinegar?
White vinegar actually reacts with the cocoa powder and gives it that real red velvet flavor!
Thanks a lot for sharing❤❤
Can i use 1 egg yolk instead 2 egg yolk ?
Hi, I've been in the hospital for a while. It is great to see this video. Your red velvet cookies look amazing, just my style: soft, chewy, and not overly sweet. I love that you were mixing manually to get exercise! As soon as I can, I want to catch up on the videos I have missed. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year.🎄👍✔🏁😎Beautiful recipe and excellent video!

Hey the cookies looks amazing! Yet i somehow messed up and it ended up having a brownie like texture, do you know how to fix it? (Ps i made them smaller and kept in freezer overnight) Tysm 😢😢
I made these and I love it. Can I substitute the red velvet color to black colored gel?
Black velvet cookies!! 😍😍😍 Yes! The color doesn't affect the taste of the cookies so it's fine to mix any color you want. Thank you for trying them out and I'm glad you liked them 🤗
Hi your cookie recipe is amazing😍 May I know which chocolate brand you have used? Would like to give it a try.
Thank you! The button chocolate is from Goya and the chocolate chuncks are either from Dutche or Beryl's 😊
Hello can you make biscoff cookies too? Thank you so much

Se pueden rellenar ? Y con qué ? .... gracias mil graciasssss ❤
Hi!!! Thank you so much for trying them out! I just relied on Google translate and I think you're asking if you can put fillings in the cookies? If so, the best filling for red velvet cookies is cream cheese! You'll have to freeze the cream cheese filling first before putting them in the cookie dough to make it easier. I actually have plans on making a version of this in the future 😊 Thank you again for watching and for taking the time and effort to try my recipe. Happy baking! 🤗🥰
Wow looks good! Can I add cream cheese inside?
Yes! 😋
Can i use margarine ?
Whats the setting of the oven ?
Can you make chocolate soft cookies please?
look so yummy! para san po pala ung vinegar?
Ung vinegar pang paalsa sya ng cookies (or cakes) and pang pahaba din ng shelf life. Natural preservative ang vinegar po. Thank you! 🥰
Hi! What white vinegar po ang pwede gamitin?
White vinegar po or cane vinegar ung mga datu puti
@@dianneemylenepallera4160 thank you for the response.. 🙂
❤
❤❤❤❤
Suggestions for good brands of butter and chocolate? Also anong weight kaya nung egg and egg yolk 🥺 sana masagot thank u!
Hi! The brands I usually go for butter are Lupark, Emborg and Anchor. I sometimes use margarine (buttercup, dari creme, etc.) if nagtitipid or wala nang butter sa bahay at tamad na ko lumabas 🤣 Goods naman lasa if you don't mind using it. For chocolates, Goya and Dutche is my go to if the budget's tight saka they're available in any groceries so it's a very accessible brand 😊 But if not naman, I like using Lindt, Hershey's, Auro, Callebaut, Malagos and Beryl's. Ung sa eggs I'm not sure sa exact weight ng yolk and egg alone. But with shell, a large egg should weigh around 60-64 grams. I hope this helps!
@@TheAwkwardKitchenPH Thank you for the help! Im having a hard time finding the best flavor for my cookies as it all tastes the same even with a lot of tested recipes 😵 anw, i love the quality of your videos ❤️👌
Glad to help! I love your passion for cookies! ☺️ I agree. Cookies and even cakes do taste the same, it mostly depend on the quality of ingredients and techniques. I find that using quality chocolate and vanilla extract usually makes the difference in taste. I also forgot to mention Kerrygold butter. That one has high fat content, and my cookies do turn out tasting richer. I don't use it often lang because it's pricier than the three brands I mentioned, and sometimes it's not available in my local grocery store 😊 Goodluck in your cookie journey! 🤗
Can I skip the cornstarch?
Yes
Can i not use cornstarch in my batter?
Yes u can make it without cornstarch. Cornstarch is to make the cookies chewy.
Thank you for the Metric Conversions :D
🥰
How much is 5 oz of butter?
5 oz of butter is equal to 10 tbsp of butter
Why did you add vinegar?
The vinegar will react with the baking soda to produce carbon dioxied, making the cookies fluffier and bake evenly
Thank u!
Hi Wala PO Kasi akong weighing scales and pede pobang irequest na iconvert PO lahat NG ingredients into Cups or tablespoons gusto ko PO kasing gawin lahat NG recipes ninyo😍

Thank you ♥️

295 g of flour is equal to 2 cups and 7 tbsp of flour
Hi, ilang cups po ng flour yan ? Thanks.
Hello! Approximately 2 3/4 cup + 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 tbsp.

So it’s only the colour that red velvet, I was hoping they tasted like red velvet.
Hi. I stored the cookies in the freezer and thawed them as instructed. My cookies overspread, where did I go wrong?
Oh no 😢 Did you thaw them until the cookies were at room temperature? They should still be cold but soft enough to put dimples on them, as shown in the video. If the cookies are warm they will spread when you bake them. I guess I should've included that information as well... 😢 Also, weighing the ingredients correctly, and using fresh baking soda and baking powder to make sure the cookies leaven/rise. Hopefully this helps and sorry the cookies didn't come out as expected 🥺
Yes the cookies are still cold and I measured the right amount of ingredients. The baking soda and baking powder are also fresh. The cookies are still overspreading. What do I do?
Hindi ko makuha ganyang kulay talaga cm din gamit ko pero pag big batch na ginagawa ko nagkukulay maroon na sya 😭
Oh no! 😨 Siguro konti muna ilagay na color pag big batch na cookies ganagawa... 😔
Jesus loves you strengthen your faith in Jesus.
