The shaft, rubber bearing and all is sold together at about $600. Check rockauto and subaru parts online since that was 2 years ago. The part might be remanufactured or rebuildable for less. As far as removal and replacement, it seemed more than a simple drive shaft replacement - maybe need to take off exhaust and other parts. Junkyard parts may be an option
The rubber in mine has perished. Any suggestions on how to change it? The cv joint will have to be removed, but how?
