- Watch this tutorial to learn how to build functional pool bars in The Sims 4, only using base game. I have made 2 design examples for this video, but once the bar is functioning inside the pool, you're free to be as creative as you want!
Note: To get this functioning correctly, you will need the move objects cheat enabled and a lot of patience.

Thank you for your tutorial. All the other ones used the landscape tools which aren't working for PS4! But this method worked like a charm 👌🏻

I cant get the first way to work at all now (as in the seating) but the 2nd way works
Looks good for a concept, but there's a reason why in public pools you're not allowed to eat or drink in the pool.
This is genius. I'm wondering though should my SIM that is sitting inside the pool be able to order drinks from the sum tending bar or does the bar tender just make them and then I have my other SIM drink it?
If your sim doesn’t autonomously order a drink, you can manually make them order by clicking on the bartender

Of course, this takes a lot of patience and quite a lot of adjustments to get it working correctly.
I haven’t currently put it on the gallery, as once you move the structure, it will no longer be functional. Therefore, it really needs to be built into a build.

I cant get my sims to sit at the bar, are there any common mistakes I'm missing?
The bar has to be at exactly the right level. To check your bar is placed correctly, do the following:
1. First, make sure your platform is exactly 5 tiles below ground level.
2. Slide the bar into the pool from the platform as shown in the video - making sure the bar is as far into the pool as possible.
3. Once the bar is positioned, raise it up until you can just see the top of the bar stools above water level.
4. Lower the bar down 1 position from here so the bar stools are just below the water level. Now you will be sure your bar is at the correct height / level.

@@jpgaming5934 thankyou!! I realised after I asked that I had the bar half a tile too far out of the pool, just took a bit of trial and error haha but I appreciate all the help, it's still a wip for now but it's coming along swimmingly xD
What bar is this? From which expansionpack?
Hi Sandra,
The bar used in this video is the “All the Wave” bar from the get together pack.
However, the bars from base game and other packs will work equally aswell.
Bartender stands on water. Perhaps they can also turn water into wine. Those are biblical bartender tricks.

Pathetic, just pathetic. Creative and helpful for those trying to figure this out, but pathetic in that it's just one more way Fee A demonstrates their laziness/ineptitude sold at top dollar, I mean the game has been out since 2014 you would think by now this would have been added as a feature already. One should not have to glitch the game just to build something like this, something that as I understand it was possible by default in past installments of the game.
I know it's negative, but I'm just saying...
