Gah! Thanks! I knew you called it something and I couldn't remember even what to look for. Can you make it any bigger than just half your bed size? I feel I maxed out at 33"

So many questions! 1st what was going through your head when you jumped off your counter onto your hoverboard? 2nd, when cutting acrylic right on the bed dont you get burn marks where the laser heats up the honeycomb on the bed and leaves an imprint? Great job, that sign turned out awesome! You could also double your usable machine surface by cutting half of your design, let the over hang out of the side of your machine via the side doors, do your cut/engrave. Then line up the material like you did before and finish the second half.

Ha! Well, I wasn't thinking with the hoverboard :) and yes, I regret not using little stands to lift up the acrylic! What kind do you use?

@@NickoleDavisRepnmyhood I've used two different types. Stainless steel and acrylic stand offs. Stainless works well because it doesn't deform or catch fire from the laser, but it will mark the bottom of the material unless you leave the masking on the bottom of the acrylic.

    I LOVE YOUR SIGN!
I’ve never ordered acrylic so does the link to acrylic you attached to Amazon come with 3m on the back?

Do you score on your acrylic for placing layers correctly?

Your laser machine lets you run the machine with the front door open?

Hi, yes, there is a front panel door on the Speedy 300 that will let you run the laser with it open. You need to trick the laser with placing two magnets on each side and then it allows more room
