I find it a sad testament to the current narrative in pop psychology how in an ocean of narcissism content this has so very few views and likes. Thank you both for this video

Refreshing enlightening heartening. Humanising! You two together are doing a good work. Much appreciated. There is hope. Thank you for these gold nuggets of truth that there are deeply feeling and thinking people underneath the rubble.

Dr Wendy thank you for sharing your expertise. I really like your style, laid back , subtle, gentle, down to earth with vast amount of knowledge and experience. I’ve been a psychotherapist for over 20 years and until I got in to a relationship with a narcissist and ended up with complex trauma then understood my narcissistic clients and their victims sooo much better. The damage is immense.

I was very touched by the “moments of meeting” between you both- where you both allow some therapy to happen. As someone with narcissistic traits seeing those moments are so precious to me. Thank you.
Edit: I got the term “moments of meeting” from Dr Martha Stark. I didn’t credit her in the OP so doing that here!

It's often the somatic work to calm the nervous system and to be sturdy in your own skin. It's that state of mind/body where you can reclaim your voice, advocate for your rights and your needs, and change the "dance"... without protest, without anger, and without defensiveness.
