Why did this only take a couple seconds for you to do and I've been sitting in the auto repair shop for over 4 hours while they say they're fixing it? 🤔
Looks like mine might be a simple fix, thank you! Already replaced the blend door actuator on the passenger side, twice! I still get heat and cool air, just have to finagle the knob!
Didnt see the link for the video. Mine is working fine on recirc then cutting out on fresh air. If i move it back to recirc it usually starts gaining speed and works fine. Already changed out the resistor and about to change the blower moter because its squealing. Would the climate control cause the problem?
My AC was blowing cold one day & the next it would not blow. The lights come on the individual control knobs. I first thought it may be the blower. Is there away to test the control panel to see if it is the panel or the the blower? Thank you.
How did you come up with the conclusion it was the module?? Just by jumping ground to your blower motor I would half agree with ya. I would of checked powers/grounds and data lines at the module. But good work your vids are sweet and short
thanks man, theres actually a couple of ways this problem could have been diagnosed. I actually thought the blower motor would be open, thats why I started there. We replace blower motors often here..I could have jumped ground at the control head and see if it blows but because of where I started, I was moved upward to the head..Now if this was a ATC sys, the data would come into play but this was the simple resistor type setup so the thinking was to find the lost ground input.
I have 2016 jeep renegade will i be replacing this unit, for reason it doesnt have power to it, doesnt lite up at all while car is on, This Is The Issue Im Experienceing
I noticed the defroster light wash flashing with is the problem I have it takes 20 seconds or so then it starts working. How do you fix that issue. Once it stops flashing all functions work. Thanks in advance

You can simply sand down the contact points on the copper contacts with 220 grit’s sand paper and reassemble. Done
