It's amazing how we had so many close Super Bowls since 2000 that some of them just went plain under the radar. Especially that 2009-2012 period, all of those games were on the fence in the fourth quarter. People forget that Pittsburgh was close to winning that game against the Packers without even needing a super late comeback...it was 21-17 by the 10-minute mark in the third quarter. In SB47, the 49ers not only got stopped at the goal line but on their previous drive, were a two-point conversion away from tying the game right then. People tend to remember only a few plays from any given Super Bowl so I really like videos like this. Heck I thought Chiefs/49ers was pretty great, if the 49ers had just gotten a bit closer on that last drive (like the Seahawks did) and the final score stayed within one possession, I think it would be remembered as a classic.

Only explanation I have is that the clock was running with 24 seconds left, they only had one timeout and New England had a lot of their run stoppers on the field and had all of the gaps covered. I think they wanted to make sure they got a couple more plays off after an incompletion without wasting their timeout, or score a TD immediately, but obviously that didn't happen. An interception is very rare on such a quick pass which was also probably a factor, but still not a great decision even if that was the thought process.

BRADY gets so much praise and i agree, he is a very good leader and a great manager on the field. Never loses composure. I ll give him that. Plus he is a charismatic bastard.
But DAMMIT do i hate when the man gets praised as the GOAT for essentially a major stroke of luck in multiple superbowls.
We open up with the game vs favorites Rams, where Tommy was already waaay too lucky to get into a starting position, after a brutal injury to Dee Bledsoe. The tuck rule game. Drew saving the semifinal game. Bellichik proving his disloyalty to Drew by starting injured Tom. Tom lucking into a 17-3 win with the Rams playing their worst game ever, against a dirty defense. Brady being glorified for his final 1 minute drive which was nothing out of the ordinary.
Skipping a couple of SBs that Adam Vinnitieri won.... And a couple of amazing NY Giants triumphs over Mordor.
If it werent for Nick big balls Foles, those bastards would have had a 4-peat!
Stupid Seahawks not running the ball
Dumbass Falcons making more mistakes than anyone ever made on a football field... Like seriously.... Run the ball! Shoot the field goal! Win the coin toss!
Now dont get me wrong, Tom was managing that game very nice after they fell to 28-3, but Jesus, does anyone believe the nonsense that his clutch leadership won the Day?? The man should've thrown two pick-6s and Edelmann had the best catch ever against 3 defenders. Sure, Tommy willed his team to victory, the GOAT, blabla.
The last two SBs were bullshit, why did the dumbass Rams score 3 and dumbass Chiefs nine points? Especially Kansas allowing Tom some easy ass throws while their own QB was running for his life and throwing darts which bounced off his recievers helmets.
I respect Brady, but praise him for something other than SB wins.
This happens to all GOAT type players which fans suck off.... But at least i dont really remember MJ sucking in some of his 6 finals, i mean even he shot poorly in 1996 but it was an ugly series which Dennis saved. That, plus his competition in all 6 finals was funny. Weak ass teams and 6'3" shooting guard. But hey who am i to hate.
The ring CULTURE has got to go. Of course Tom didnt win 7 by himself. He was just lucky and should've gotten 3 or 4 at best. Goddamn Aaron Rodgers, if that man had half the luck of Tom, he would be a 5-time SB champ. But his luck is shitty.
    How to be the GOAT?
Sacrifice a GOAT now or then to the Gods!

As a Bears fan, I am sad we only have one super bowl. But I will take quality over quantity, because that Bears team had the best playoff run in NFL history. 1st seed, 2 shutouts, and a 36 point shellacking in the Super Bowl. I've never heard of a team winning a super bowl with 10 points allowed all postseason. It will never happen again

I became a Broncos fan in 2012, so I was happy to see them go to super bowl 48 until it was a horrendous massacre.

SB53, the worst ever deserves a straight F. Not only is it one of the lowest scoring Super Bowls ever, we have to hear forever about how great Tom Brady was in a 13 point, 0 TD affair. The most memorable moment was Saints fans refusing to watch after the Saints got screwed

As a neutral party (NYG fan), I’m just hoping for an A+. It’s fun to have a game I wouldn’t mind either team winning. Doesn’t happen too often recently (ok, SB LIV, but all others since SB 50). Stafford, Donald, Kupp, and especially Andrew Whitworth, who’s still kicking ass as a tackle at age 40, all deserve a ring. But I do want the Bengals to win. They’re likable, fun to watch, have an excellent offense and an underrated defense, and who doesn’t love a good Cinderella story? This team reminds me of the two Giants teams that beat the Patriots. Gritty, shocking, and smoking hot at the right time.
