Went on my first cruise last month (September) and it was on the Liberty. Being my first cruise of course I was in awe of the ship! It was only a 3-day cruise and after watching this video I realize there's alot of the ship I didn't experience. There's alway next time because I'd love to go on this ship again! Thanks for the awesome tour!

I worked as a contractor on liberty in 2011 when it was refurbished!!! I have a deep connection with this boat..I shed blood, sweat and beers on this magnificent ship. Thanks for the video!

I’m going on Liberty this Thanksgiving with family…no cooking this year! This will be my third sailing on Liberty, and I really like the size, decor and amenities aboard. Beautiful Venetian themed decorations.
We enjoyed it and really liked the decor. We are doing one on the first sailing of the Celebrity Ascent this coming Thanksgiving!
Is there a Basketball court in this ship?

We just took this cruise to Princess Cays and Nassau. We had a great time. The cigar bar that you mentioned was used every night for Karaoke. We ate in the dining area right next to it and went there after dinner each night.

Thank you. The Carnival Triumph was actually renamed the Carnival Sunrise. There is a video of it on the channel. I sailed on both the Triuph and the Sunrise.

Absolutely love carnival liberty was on here two weeks ago and will be on the Mardi Gras in a few months
Awesome. We were on the Mardi Gras for its third voyage. It’s very different. We have a couple of videos up on the channel thanks for watching.
One thing I miss is the deck at the start of the video where you can just go and chill out of the direct sun. I enjoy the cove balconies that replaced these on newer ships but I liked having that extra public area.

Going in November on liberty. I was hoping they would do the dry dock in sept sun be nice and fresh but sure it will be fun.
A cruise is what you make of it. We have never been on a bad cruise!
We were on The Freedom last month and it is identical to the Liberty. We were a group of 12 and everything was great. Food in MDR could be better but there was something for everyone. Guys burgers are great and the pizza was also great.
There is a certain “Carnival feel” to most of their ships Pre-Mardi Gras. It’s not gourmet food, but I always enjoyed it and the selections are great. I honestly prefer CCL food over another more premium brand these days.
Just got back Friday and gotta say for my first time cruise it was amazing everything was nice and fun and the food is amazing

Several on official sites had it originally scheduled for September but there aren’t any officially scheduled by Carnival. These things often change.
Going on this ship in January with the wife, during our 25th anniversary. We were on the Freedom in January this year (for our 24th) and this ship is almost identical. The only difference I can see is the decorations on the wall for each deck that you can see from the main elevators looks different. Other than that I would have thought this was the Freedom.
Ships in the same class are often VERY similar I was on the Freedom quite a few years ago and noticed this as well.
I would love to see the staterooms cruising in Nov first time On Carnival Liberty

Appreciate your positive feedback on this one as you’ve been on many others. One of my big concerns I’ve read online is a sewage smell, did you notice it anywhere on the ship
Thanks for the kind words. I don’t recall anything overwhelming. However, at any point, a cruise ship can briefly have “that smell”. The systems are not quite like those on land but never had it to the point where it was overwhelming.
Yes. In our room it was overwhelming. Especially on the last 2 days the room smelled like a portapotty. It was disgusting
Can you share more details about the spa? Do tey have the heated loungers or hot tubs in the spa?
This is a nice ship. I would take a cruise on her if the itinerary and prices are right. Unfortunately the itineraries leave much to be desired (3-4 day cruises) and the prices are just insane.
It’s a great ship for the quick weekend getaway but I agree, prices are up across the board. We are booking mostly 2024 and even 2025 where the prices are more reasonable (for now).
Check now for the end of the month. $200 from Orlando isn’t bad at all

Where did you hear about dry dock? I hope they spiff up the ship before it moves to New Orleans in 2024.
I believe the dry dock was cancelled. It is on one of the cruise information sites but Carnival still has sailings scheduled for the entire month of September.
What $$ are the additional cost❓
Are we talking about a dollar for meal or activities or $10 dollars or $100 dollars.

What activities specifically. Most things are complimentary but things like bingo, and spa treatments are additional and can range from $10s to $100 or more
Does the Carnival Liberty have a 7-9 day cruise,out of Port Canaveral?
Actually they will start doing 7 night cruises in May 2024 but out of New Orleans. Let us know if we can help you find a cruise!

This is a ship for first time cruisers. Or old people who expect no excitement.
Carnival always has things going on and is high energy. It’s also generally a younger crowd, especially on short sailings. A lot will depend on itinerary and dates. Feel free to contact us if you would like a little more detailed assistance selecting a cruise (we are also travel advisors).
Dam I wish I had watched this video before I booked. It doesn't seem like a lot going on here and the ship looks dated.

The boat was dirty, smelled horrible and the food was low class buffet food. it felt like I was on a city bus for 4 days strait.. it didn’t feel luxurious or relaxing like a vacation should feel. The pools were overrun with children and there was only 1 hot tub open for the adults. the bars smelled overwhelmingly like piss and the rooms smelled like a portapotty, even more so on the last 2 days. It was so bad I lost my appetite and was gagging every time I entered the room. The controls on the shower head didn’t work and the faucet was stuck, so it was only ever scalding hot. There was very little to do on the ship and excursions felt like a scam. Overall it felt like a massive waste of time and money and I couldn’t wait to go home
