- Come take a trip with us aboard the Carnival Dream! This 7 day cruise has us saying good bye to 2021 and hello to 2022, with stops in Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel.
We decided to dip our toe in and try doing a ship tour video this go around, so hope you find it informative! Let us know in the comments if you have any questions about the ship.

Great ship tour - I especially liked the location pin feature and deck plan overlay! We've probably done about 50 days on the Dream in the past when she was home-ported in NOLA, and you've hit all the highlights in great detail.

Wow the dream really got an update!! My first ever cruise was the carnival dream back in 09,I was about 5 at the time and it was very fun,I have alot of memories off of that ship with my entire family!
I'd go back on her in a heartbeat, this was a fun trip!

@Linda Ohia how was the cruise? We leave on the Dream in a little over a week.
The excursions we're wonderful. The shows were really good and food alright. However, the ship itself was not up to par.
I had a very loud room and could not rest. I didn't experience that on Vista or Freedom

Just got off The Magic, going on the Horizon in Nov., but would like to go on The Dream. I always look at the itinerary first & then the ship. LOL Thanks for sharing the ship tour.

Going this may for our honeymoon we got a suite on deck 7 hopefully its not 2 far from everything. This is our first time on the cruise :)
Congrats! I think 7 is good its still two decks away from 5 plus you get benefit of no public venues above nor below you, if noise is a concern.

We had the pointer laying around with our daughters toys and grabbed it last minute before we left for the trip thinking it would come in...handy (sorry, I know). It's originally from an educator store (Lakeshore Learning). Thanks for watching!!

Does 18 and over on deck 15 mean topless sunbathing permitted? We're sailing in November.
I was mistaken and its actually 21 and up, but even still that doesn't mean topless permitted, or at least cookies have always stayed in the jar when I have been there. You may need some upside-down pineapples to get to that level lol
Great video! What level is the gangway located? I’m planing a trip with someone who is mobility impaired and having to use elevators on port days is challenging because of crowds. Thanks!
Gangway for ports is usually always deck 0 and elevator accessible. Embarkation and disembarkation is from deck 3. All are always ramps and ADA accommodating as far as I know.
@@NogVlog thank you. I’m sure the gangway,elevators are ADA compliant(they have to be) , but getting onto the elevator in a crowd of impatient people is the biggest challenge! This helps me plan our cabin locations!

Sorry we didn’t use the spa except the gym, but the Dream is known for having one of the best spas on any Carnival ship in its age range

Nope
I have been on the Dream twice and Vista once. Vista if pretty different than the Dream as The Vista is a different Bigger Class ship and everything is like a deck up. Like I believe the Lido is Deck 11 instead of 10 and casino is on like Deck 6?
I wan't a big fan initially of Guys Burgers but it grew on me. The Blue Iguana for break fast is the best! Cherry on top is my jam. When we went in December the Main casino was smoking and the annex on 4 was non smoking. So now the whole casino is non smoking? AWESOME!!!
We will be on Vista for first time in May and looking forward to it!

Thanks for sharing, great video and narration! How did you all like the Dream compared to the Breeze? We went on the Breeze last year and hoping to be on the Dream in November.
Breeze wins, but it was much closer than I thought it would be. Pictures of the Dream don't do it justice. I used to avoid the Dream when researching and planning trips because it had an older, gaudy look to it. But once onboard its just different in person and you can appreciate what they are tried to do (shiny, colorful, funky...like being in a dream!).

Haha, it's got mixed reviews so far but it for sure will be coming with us on all our future trips and cruises lol. This particular one we had laying around from an teacher/educator store (Lakeshore Learning).
Is the Casino still smoke free?
No not the main casino on deck 5, but there is now a smaller smoke-free casino on deck 4.
My family is too poor to do a cruise on Carnival Dream anytime soon and I have been stuck in this house for like months now and I suffer from boredom and loneliness

Nope, this was from January
We’re going in March 2022 leaving out of Galveston, TX.. I see the ship was kind of empty how was the capacity on the ship?
Don't judge from this video, it was taken around 10am of Cozumel port day so most passengers were off the ship. We were told we were at around 70% capacity but it felt like a bit more to be honest. It was also during New Year's so school was out and people were off work. If you are going March 13 week I'd expect high numbers and more kids since that is Spring Break. Have fun!

I know the mask mandate has changed for carnival bc my family and I and a friend and I are going on the cruise January 8th and it’s carnival dream I appreciate the layout of the ship I may need to rewatch it but I’m not so sure you’ll have to wear a mask on that cruise because it’s carnival dream if you could help me with that question thanks!

Looks like the Vista seems better. Lots of similar features, but Vista just seams better.
If we had to rebook for Carnival in Galveston we'd go Breeze, Dream, then Vista. That is until Jubilee replaces her next fall. Check our our Vista ship tour and vlog series for our take on what we'd have it last. Yes, Dream still has that older interior look and no Red Frog Pub, but it surprised us with how much fun we had and a great crew. Thanks for watching!

This is wrong information. People can and do smoke on the 5th floor casino.
Carnival prohibited smoking in all ships’ casinos from December 18, 2021 through February 14, 2022. This sailing was over New Years and I shared that casino volume did not reduce in spite of that ban. Good times!✌️
@@NogVlog I hope it’s still smoke free! The smokers have kept many from being able to enjoy the casino. Once that nasty smell permeates your clothing, hair, skin and nostrils, you can’t get away from it.
