Judged the liberty based off its looks yesterday but today’s a different story. I’m actually really enjoying this ship. It’s not perfect but it sure has some good touches.
Kyle you hit the jackpot with Casey. She's just lovely. Pretty, articulate, funny, sweet. And you two compliment each other so well. I loved your videos before, but Casey adds a special touch I didn't know you needed. Blessings to both of you, Carolena
It's great to see that you and Casey keep an open mind and always look at the positive. Who knows, with each day, it may get better and better and surprise you more! Can't wait to see the rest of the cruise vlogs.
LIberty has some bumps and bruises and still one of my favorite mid-size Carnival ships. The food and the crew have always been great and we've always had a great time.
My husband and I enjoy all of your Vlog’s so much. The decor and design of the ship looks like a brothel/acid trip but with that said, you and Casey have a great mindset and remain positive while enjoying the moment. My husband would have jumped ship!
We were on the Liberty 2 weeks ago and loved it. We booked an ocean suite for the 1st time, and it was spacious. Food and drinks were great. Can't wait to do it again
The best bar is always the Alchemy. Give the bartender a tip and they will always make you the best drinks. We always do Anytime Dining so we can eat whenever we want. Glad you gave the ship another chance. Many cruise lines are charging for extra entrees. And you can ask for more bread.
Hey Kyle, I'm actually cruising on Liberty next month for Mother's Day, and I knew she was an older ship but had been renovated with upgrades and such but she's a beautiful ship. Glad you both are enjoying yourselves and I'm looking forward to more videos from your cruise. 🎉🥳🥂
It's a good idea to lock your balcony door when you're not in the room. There was a party next door...(We were invited--part of our group) the SO was able to turn our adjoining balcony into one big balcony for the party by using a simple 'church key/bottle opener' to turn the stop and fold up the partition.
When I was on Carnival Liberty my favorite foods for lunch upstairs on the Lido deck were Octopus at the Fish and Chips a Smoked Salmon at the deli and anything at the Asian section and the dessert table. So much to try on any cruise ship.
Casey is adorable. She makes this cruise awesome. I’m glad to see that the cruise is getting better for you Kyle. My favorite ship was the Carnival Magic. All the smaller Carnival ships have there own theme. The Carnival Liberty reminds me of Carnival Freedom. Enjoy!
So happy you are enjoying your cruise. Carnival Liberty has a special place in our heart since it was our first family cruise and we had a blast!!!! We still talk about it jajajajaaj of course is an older ship and we can’t compare, right after the Liberty we’ve learned that we like to cruise big but our first cruise is always in our heart.
This is my favorite cruise ship she's a oldie but goodie. Alchemy bar is the best on the ship. Hope u don't judge her too harshly, she gets it done. Have fun🎉
Thumbs up to the food in the nice dining room 👍 the Seuss pictures were adorable!! My friend and his family go on carnival cruises twice a year. They just love it!!
Loving the cruise videos lately. I'm not really a cruise a guy but after watching some of your vids I think I could do a short one if my wife really wanted to go.
These ships are the cruises I started off with as a kid. Now looking back, it’s crazy how far cruise ships have come!! Thanks for the video! It brings back fond memories🙏🏾
Going on Liberty in Sept and everything looks amazing!! Hope to have as much fun as you guys did!! Have purchased cheers, steakhouse, fttf and 5 pics alrdy. Idk about an excursion yet.. I'm wondering if you caught how much the horse and buggy rides in the port of Nassau were as well if you knew. Tia....
The Carnival Panorama sails to the Mexican Riviera out of Long Beach Ca. I think you would enjoy that cruise. The ship is a Vista class design. Large enough but not crazy big. It started service right before the Covid shut down. Great crew and extremely clean. Glad to see that you are both having a good time on the Liberty.
Looking at the photos from my Carnival Liberty cruise in March 2006. Our room on the 10th deck was a orange color like your room. So I think that's how all of them look on Carnival Liberty. Also on the lower decks where you found your self stuck and had to go up a deck and go back down. I remember the galley being there. In between the two main dining rooms. It is like this on other Carnival Ships like the Destiny, Victory and Triumph. I also have been on 5 Carnival cruises.
Oh, Carnival’s chocolate meting cake is the bomb! Carnival actually posted their recipe for this on their website. When I cruised on Carnival years ago, I had the cake every night! It’s so good!
Going on the Liberty in Oct. 2025, I wish they would remodel those guest rooms before then!! lol , but it will be GREAT even if they don’t. It looks almost identical to the Valor I sailed on last October. Thank you for the great video of the ship and your view of it!
omg I got the same shirt ;) best one for going hide some ducks. I was on Carnival Liberty and played the craps table with that duck shirt. Met a guy named Elvis and had the best streak rolling the dice alone on the don't pass, with 3 guys that were takin a well deserved vacation off from their work who bet along with me for like 20 minutes. at the end of the night everybody called me Ducky LOL
I went on Carnival Liberty in 2019 for a weekend birthday cruise! It was fun, but it wasn't my favorite. I felt this way about Royal's Mariner that we went on in Feb - that it was old and things needed fixing....and well it went to dry dock a cruise after ours. HA. I don't know if everything was fixed, but I'm sure some was. I loved the blue iguana and guy's burger's on both Carnival cruises I've done. Anyway glad it got better for you.
We always met new people at our dinner table. Had a lot of nice conversations and even decided to share a ride around an island with one couple we met.
Do you know you can go to the main dining room when you go onboard and ask for your group to be seated at your own table? You can also call the cruiseline ahead of your trip to make the request. I've only been on Disney and Carnival and we do this each time to make sure we get our own table.
I love to see the reality of the different cruise ships that are actually out there. I’ve only been on Carnival myself. I’m hoping upgrade to Royal Caribbean soon. you’ve been on so many brand new ships and virgin right before this. You should’ve started from the bottom and work your way up 😂 It’s like going from the Beach and Yacht club to All Star resorts.
We just went on the NCL Joy and I didn't realize it was Easter. There were soooo many kids and they were running up and down the stairs and the hallways. But the cruise still turned out nice and I found a hidden duck!!!! And we found it odd that NCL does have a deck 13
Hey remember that the Disney Wish has a ton of dead ends. Going down to go up to Palo and Enchante is so frustrating. Love the mix of ships. Thanks for the adventure!
Great video. Yes, sometimes the older ships can have a few situations but (not including Margaritaville at Sea) most of the time they will update them every so often. Glad it seems to be going ok now. And Casey is right, the Piano Bar is a staple on Carnival. Its a great place to visit in the evening for a few minutes. @Kyle Palo.
Oh you youngsters. I started cruising in 1988 when there was a main dining room only. I cruised on Carnival and Royal Caribbean. You had breakfast either in the dining room or a breakfast from room service. Lunch and dinner the same way. Then at 10pm and Midnight in the dining room there were buffets but little ones and mostly salads. All on your 7 story ship. We couldn't imagine ships like now.
Carnival Liberty was my very first cruise in 2017!!!! I loved it to be my first!!! Now, I cant stay away from cruising or Carnival Mardi Gras!!!! Plus we met nice individuals at our dinner table we still talk to!!!!
What would you recommend for a first ever cruise? Not sure I’d like a crowded ship. Appreciate your feedback. Oh and I’m not a gambler but enjoy food and drinks. Ty!
@@LS-vx5jv They're just as crowded during peak seasons. My recommendation is book off-peak. Don't sail around most holidays. Don't sail in the summer. Stay away from Spring Break. There's a reason cruises are really cheap in September and early October, along with January through early March - that's when bookings are lowest so you'll tend to find the fewest people on board. As for best first cruise line my picks are Carnival and Royal, slight edge to Carnival IMO since they tend to be cheaper and if you find you just aren't compatible with being at sea the less you spend on that the better. MSC might be getting in to this conversation though they're doing a good job of learning what matters to non-European cruisers and they're actually cheapest of the three. I also recommend a short cruise as a first time for the same reason - if you dislike being on a ship itself or get seasick you aren't stuck for too long in that situation.
Casey and Kyle yes passover is also happening now and that's awesome to see there was a seder (it is pronounced SAY-DER) on the cruise. I've only been on carnival cruise haven't been in like a decade and it looks very similar to the one I went in the 2000s its quintessential
My take is it really matters how much the activities matter to you. If you like Carnival's party vibe and the hardest working cruise directors in the business then these older ships really aren't much different. Yeah it's going to be smaller and less modern-looking - but the way they book up activities is the same and that experience is there on all of the ships. Now if you like chilling and taking in the ship itself that's going to be a different story and you'll start to feel those differences more. Even still though, these Conquest class ships really aren't bad other than that odd dead end due to the main dining galley sitting in between the two dining rooms these flow decently well. And I think the main pool area might be the best on any of their ship classes with that tiered seating.
😂 I know I watch their generation and think about how lucky they are because when I was in my 20's we all had to save up for years and request our two weeks of vacation/year off months in advance to do something like this 😂
That ship was a little crowded for me . I kinda like the others better . Unless it was because of spring break . It's still fun to get away thanks for going and taking us along . Enjoy 🥰
I'm glad you gave your ship another chane. You probably would have been more accepting if you hadn't booked a Spring Break cruise at the last minute and paid a premo price. It's also an Easter cruise which also costs more.
I like carnival but all 4 of my cruises have been carnival. Next year my twins their significant others and I are going on norwegion escape for a 10day mediterranean cruise!! I do like the med to lg size ships
Glad you are re-thinking what you said and opening your eyes that every ship is different. Yes alot of Carnival ships are older but they do a good job. Can't tell a book by it's cover they say. Just enjoy yourself. Alot of people can't even go away. So you are lucky and Casey is a doll. You're a lucky man (and she is lucky also)
Carnival is known for hiding ducks! Glad your giving the Liberty another chance. I go on Carnival for the fun, hardly stay in my room at all. Kyle, Casey compliments you in so many ways. Love y’all’s vlogs! Keep them up!
Hi Kyle and Casey! When we cruise on Carnival we pick your time dining and we have never been seated with anyone else so maybe try that option next time if your hoping to be seated by yourselves. Thanks for taking us on your cruise adventure! You two are the best!
the second cruise now I've seen you think that you've found a beer hack lol!!! You PAY PER OZ!!! For every ounce you poor, you pay $0.50... It won't just magically stop and only charge you a set amount :( "Live and learn" haha
Lol, y’all are funny. I have only been on Carnival but want to try RC . Love the atriums in the old ships but that orange in the rooms is crazy! See if you can try a Windjammer cruise some day. We did that for our honeymoon 33 year ago. 🎉
The Carnival Sunshine renovations prove that they can change those staterooms but boy does that much renovation cost a lot of money. They spent like $300M for each of the 3 ships that received that treatment. The rooms don't have orange lighting anymore though - and have more modern touches.

Hello :)
Get your free bottle of water at any bar.
I’m glad Casey is there to edit you.
All these ships that are charging big money should at least get most people on board satisfied you are paying top dollar
That is what snap judgments will do for you.
Casey is the best addition to the vlogs, so sweet, silly and relatable! I never knew something was missing until she started making appearances!
Please continue letting Casey correct your grammar, it drives me nuts Kyle lol
Kyle you hit the jackpot with Casey. She's just lovely. Pretty, articulate, funny, sweet. And you two compliment each other so well. I loved your videos before, but Casey adds a special touch I didn't know you needed. Blessings to both of you, Carolena
Wow, thank you!
"is shrek on a cruise?" im crying thats literally me after 3 drinks
It's great to see that you and Casey keep an open mind and always look at the positive. Who knows, with each day, it may get better and better and surprise you more! Can't wait to see the rest of the cruise vlogs.
“So are you,”. Very smooth Kyle. lol

That's a little harsh...but it made me laugh 😅
The older Carnival ships' decor is.... interesting 😅. But inalways have a really good time on them!
We were on the Liberty 2 weeks ago and loved it. We booked an ocean suite for the 1st time, and it was spacious. Food and drinks were great. Can't wait to do it again

When he says liberry and kaci goes what did you say? He tryes to correct but he figures out that she is making fun of him! Lol 😂
I can’t believe they still print out the pictures. 🤣🤣
Glad you had a great time.
Pretty speechless seeing all of this. Amazing. The view from the deck over the ocean with the sun shining on the water. Stunning.
This is my favorite cruise ship she's a oldie but goodie. Alchemy bar is the best on the ship. Hope u don't judge her too harshly, she gets it done. Have fun🎉
The smoke stack is called the whale tail. In the evening the lights change colors in the atrium.
I love seeing Casey in her comfort zone here!!
The “show” with dinner was WILD 😂😂
Thumbs up to the food in the nice dining room 👍 the Seuss pictures were adorable!! My friend and his family go on carnival cruises twice a year. They just love it!!

These ships are the cruises I started off with as a kid. Now looking back, it’s crazy how far cruise ships have come!! Thanks for the video! It brings back fond memories🙏🏾
So glad you’re keeping an open mind! Brunch at sea is the boom diggity w/ steak& eggs and banana crepe pie! Enjoy!
I was a crewmember on that ship while you guys were there. I was one of the dudes with a red shirt on during sail away 😂
Each cruise line has different things to offer so I’m happy you decided to have more of an open mind.
Wow, the cruise is packed. 😅 Thought about jumping on it to surprise y’all, but it was sold out.

You keep calling the ship tiny, but did you know it's the exact same size as the Scarlet Lady?
Oh, Carnival’s chocolate meting cake is the bomb! Carnival actually posted their recipe for this on their website. When I cruised on Carnival years ago, I had the cake every night! It’s so good!

Wishing you a great time & Happy Easter.
Can you link her purse. You guys are so cute. Love the honestly and real review!

Happy Easter Kyle!
Spring break is the worst time to cruise ! Never again for me. We went in February at Super Bowl rime on Carnival and it was awesome
So nice to see that there is a Passover Seder on the cruise for those who celebrate
Passover!

I’m now loving this ship !! There’s nothing bad about going on an older ship 🚢 Mongolian looked so good 😊
I had a great time on carnival liberty as well. It was my birthday cruise which in turn was the Halloween cruise. I would definitely go back😊❤
My family and I just got home from the Disney Wish cruise, and my granddaughter was very excited to find a duck!

Warm chocolate meting cake is the best dessert. Got some drinks from alchemy bar. Simply top drawer

I will venmo Casey $1 every time she fixes Kyle's pronunciations on camera! LOL
Casey! I can eat Asian food all day every day! I’m Mexican and can eat it of course but, Asian food! Game over!!! Let’s go and eat! 🤙🏽
We have never been on a cruise 🛳 but we have been binge watching all your videos to choose our first cruise. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Carnival over spring break was risky.....happy you had a good time but so many better options!
Omg Casey you look so beautiful❤
Where is your white jeans from ?
That ship was a little crowded for me . I kinda like the others better . Unless it was because of spring break . It's still fun to get away thanks for going and taking us along . Enjoy 🥰

Its human to pre judge.😂😂 It takes a man to take his comments back! Good job.
I couldn't do this cruise. I've never seen so many people.
We only do Disney and Virgin cruises. Only seen videos of Carnival cruises.
Was on this ship March 31 2023. Had the time of my life!
I’m so glad you’re being open minded and enjoying the boat more! Going on the Liberty next year!
You 2 … are too perfect for each other! ❤. You GET each other…. And it’s so apparent! Love this ❤

We just got off the Disney Dream!!! We ate at Remy’s and it was a dinner like no other !!!
Pretty cool to see the other cruise ship following you

Thanks for these videos so I can see what Carnival is like. I don't think it's a cruise line for me!
Kyle how do you budget for all these cruises!!!
So did i miss what happened about the beer..what were u charged for it
I like the stair decor and art work in between floors. Didn’t see that on the Virgin cruise.
Hi Kyle and Casey! When we cruise on Carnival we pick your time dining and we have never been seated with anyone else so maybe try that option next time if your hoping to be seated by yourselves. Thanks for taking us on your cruise adventure! You two are the best!

Kyle, do they still have Guy's burger joint? Best burger ever, you gotta get one 😎
