Hey! Dynasty mode you have 1 year and 3 year goals to hit plus you have a budget for salary. Owner mode you look after all your finances, ticket prices, store, concessions, etc. You also get to build your own ballpark in owner mode, upgrading various things throughout the park and buying different attractions for fans!
I think I prefer Owner mode, find it more of a challenge. Dynasty mode is for sure more GM focused, which is great, but gets repetitive after a while. Owner mode is fun with trying to balance the finances + the on field product. Sometimes it can take years to turn a profit, but once you do it’s a lot of fun. You get to decide how much you want to spend on payroll and then have to be able to afford it!
@kingbeck24 Awesome! Thanks for the info. I still play the Show but have a blast with this game. I'll probably do a dynasty with an established team like Cleveland and owner with a team like Oakland.
Yeah I did a big edit to the roster and updated the players with fake names to their real ones. There’s a ton who couldn’t have their actual names in the game for license reasons. Makes it fun in later years to see them develop and make the big leagues!
@kingbeck24 Are you willing to share the file? Because I think some of the players, I could find and would upload it for those wanting to run the Emulator for it
Well at least SOMEBODY wants to own the A's....
Going to bring them the championship pedigree front office they deserve!!
Akira Kawasaki from the Dodgers & Matt Williamson from the Diamondbacks are some some good prospects that pan out down line
Yeah those two are unreal! Not sure how much we’ll have to give up to get them, but will look into what we have trade chip wise!
this is so damn nostalgic wow
Big throwback, my favourite sports game as a kid and it still holds up today, so much fun
Hey there, i had a question whats the difference between owner and dynasty mode? I got MVP 2005 because OOTP is a bit too difficult for me

Just because I'm interested and don't have MVP 2005 myself, what's the worst ranked team in the game?
Worst team is KC, their pitching is 27th, hitting 28th, fielding 29th, and speed 29th. All they really have in this game is Greinke
Kansas city
Which mode do you prefer, owner or dynasty? Dynasty seems more general manager oriented.

I would love too, but I did it all on my GameCube and have no way of extracting the file from my memory card unfortunately
@@kingbeck24 Ah makes sense
