    One of my personal favorites that wasnt mentioned is Fluor Field in Greenville SC. The dimensions are a replica of fenway and you can sit on their slightly shorter green monster, which is really cool for a minor league park.

    Going to watch the Omaha Cardinals play at Rosenblatt Stadium with my dad is a great memory. It was also home to the College World Series until it was torn down a number of years ago. Part of the bleacher seating was moved to the baseball field at my high school in Council Bluffs Iowa, allowing the stadium to live on, in a way. Now, as an Albuquerque resident, it was great to see the Isotope’s park make your list. The views of the Sandia and Manzano mountains are the perfect backdrop for watching a ball game. It was home to the Albuquerque Dukes(LA Dodgers AAA) before and the ‘Topes (Rockies)now. Between Omaha and Albuquerque I’ve been blessed to see many great players both playing in the CWS and working up through the minors. Thanks for the video!!

    As a Utahn, I grew up watching baseball at Smith's Ballpark (though it has gone by many names through the years). This is even where the then SLC Trappers had a 29 game winning streak in 1987. That is still the longest streak in baseball!
    Sadly, the Bees are moving elsewhere in the valley within a year or two, leaving the ballpark empty. We dont really know what will happen to it, but many locals (especially long-term residents) want to repurpose the structure just to maintain some of that history.

    • @dsarmy1
      @dsarmy1 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      My parents took me to some Trappers games. At that time it was known as Derek’s field. Baseball has been played there for over 100 years. They do have plans for it. It looks like at least a partial tear down and used for women’s sports only. It’s really sad!

    "That coaster out there in left field, the Cyclone..."
    Uh, hate to break it to you, but that (steel) coaster you see in left field is called Thunderbolt. The Cyclone is a wooden coaster and it's a lot further east.
    Also, glad you gave a shout-out to Victory Field in that set of "great view of the downtown skyline" ballparks. What makes Victory Field special is that it started the trend of bringing minor league parks closer to the city. Up to that point, the general trend had been to move minor league baseball teams to the suburbs, far away from the city center. Indianapolis decided instead to move from their old home at Bush Stadium--about two miles from downtown--to just outside of downtown proper. They bucked a major trend in doing so, and also started a new one.
    As for Fifth Third field... blame the bank who bought the sponsorship rights for that name. Fifth Third Bank isn't a small bank, either.

There's plenty to do before or after the game in the surrounding area, especially if you have children. Several subway lines will get you to Coney Island that run 24 hours. Cody,
    Check out Carilion Field at Salem Memorial Ballpark in Salem, Virginia. Home of the Salem Red Sox, Single-A. Home of the Little Green Monster and beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

    As a native of Amarillo, Hodgetown is always a fun place to catch a game (may be a bit biased😂😂) excited to see them here nonetheless. From the announcing to different places to watch to making easily navigable after the game if you want to do something after the game downtown

    Was very disappointed not to see Four Winds Field (unless I missed it)
    High A affiliate of the cubs. I've been to plenty of stadiums but Four Winds Field is one of my all time favorites. With the rooftop seats out in left field and the performance center in right field. There's just a unique atmosphere around the entire field

    Just a note on the park on City Island in Harrisburg.....the park was built facing away from the city so you dont get any views of the small Harrisburg skyline.
