What tugs me in the heart in all these kind of videos is the happiness of the children. All outside playing, laughing, fighting, screaming - being children. Where do you see that in the west.

Sana magsumikap lahat ng kbabayan natin para makaahon din ang bansa natin at makasabay sa ibang bansa na dati ay nasa likuran lng natin pero sa ngayon ay nasa unahan na sila.

Do the residents actually have to pay rent to live in the slums, or is it mostly what we would call "squatting"? How do they work out who gets to live in each dwelling?

If you want to do real poverty why dont you do a well off western country . People have lots of material success and hunger for more but a have empty spirit and loose family connections. I should know comming from one.
Your tittle is left out the people are also happy. Try doing a video on Mumbi or Cairo for real poverty, except you won't find much happiness there. If you really want to see people suffering, do a video on Kabul Afghanistan, where the people live under Strict Sharia law, enforced by the Taliban.

There are these so called professional squaters, where they would occupy a space, build quarters then rent them out to people.
