- In this vlog, you get to learn from my purchase and testing of more premiere lighting accessories from Baja Designs with their Squadron Pro Light Pods. These light pods feature a flush mount design option so that they can fit nicely into the Goliath Offroad bumper. Now I originally purchased these thinking the price was for a pair, but no it was for a single light pod. So a steep price of $500 gets you just two light pods. Idk where you bought them from but i have a pair* of squadron sports i got for $269 & a pair* of squadron pros for $369. One pair is for fogs & the other will be my ditch lights. I’m putting together a lighting package slowly piece by piece until i can do a switch pro & battery upgrade. Previous owner had some generic fogs installed that are the same shape & housing style as the bajas & i thought they died or blew a fuse until i watched this video & you said you wanted to use the factory switch on the steering column & i was like holllld on & found the switch lol they turned back on so thank you for that. I must’ve turned them off at some point. Super cool because i was all up in there tryin to figure out why they weren’t working just this morning. All that being said, I can’t wait to upgrade those fogs to the squadron sports & aim them properly.
I bought them straight from Baja, so not sure where I went wrong on the purchase...maybe the flush mount option was more? Either way it was pricey, but totally worth it...these things are awesome! $500 is hard to spend but we have all done it and once you see the outcome and like it then its worth the price. We got to update the old headlights everything is new! Now that my tires are getting ready to need replacing time to look at wheels and tires. Have to go back to your video 1 lol. Love the content and you've come a long way for sure! Hey Kaisar! Glad to hear you updated the old headlights. I personally need to do this as well. I just polished mine this past weekend to hold me over a little longer. Looks great. I need to get motivated on our 05. Lifted it and haven't done anything else 😢 I need to do something. The gx oem headlights suck and I've done led lights

@Awesomoto almost been 2 years. I'm a master technician and have done literally all the maintenance. Absolutely love this gx. Coming from a 2016 srt jeep it can't get out of its own way🤣 gladly swap reliability over mopar junk. I live in Utah and Moab it 3 hours away. I've literally jumped this gx and it drives like a new car. Just hit 189,000

Hey Zakaria. Yes, I'd still recommend this vehicle if you can get a good price (something under $10k would be ideal). I further recommend this vehicle after the more recent releases and price points of the new model GX 550 and Toyota Land Cruiser. This is just a solid and reliable platform and will last a long time if maintenanced properly.

Do you think the Baja designs would be bright enough to drive without headlights if you were in heavy fog or snow?
Oh yeah, these lights are insanely bright and could be used alone for driving.
