Hey hey, my my, Neil Young is calling Daryl Hannah his wife.
The 72-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and the 57-year-old "Splash" actress had been utterly mum on the subject of their marriage since reports that they wed in California in August.
But Young said in a pro-gun-control post on his website Wednesday (31 OCT. 2018) featuring a new performance of his 1970 song "Ohio" that, "my wife Daryl and I put this video together."
The couple's representatives didn't reply to requests for comment.
It's the third marriage for Young and the first for Hannah, who had previous relationships with Jackson Browne and John F. Kennedy Jr.
She wrote and directed the Netflix movie "Paradox," starring Young, earlier this year.
Young's hits include "Hey Hey, My My" and "Heart of Gold."

As an older woman and a fan for over 45 years, I can say these artists personal lives are who they are and what their Music is. The fact that he left his beautiful wife of many years, for the younger homily celebrity doesn’t sit for most of us. Especially since his wife got cancer and died, hopefully not alone. I will donate all your albums to charity.
...and while you're donating ,try holding your critical judgements for your own life and leave other people alone, to make decisions for themselves , decisions that are none of your business..Divorce is legal in this country.We don't live in Afghanistan or Arab countries. This ain't the 50's anymore ,when it was shamed to get a divorce.You need to get with the times.The catholic church does Not reign over the lives of American citizens,who have the legal right to divorce in a court of law, without being harassed by anybody.

The person who instigates a divorce, is a con, unfaithful and lacks the vital character traits of loyalty and devotion, plain and simple. Neil was the instigator here and will ultimately pay a big price one day. Doesn't matter if you are in a faith based marriage or not. @@audreybutcher7918 he did a very similar thing to Danny Whitten way back in the day. Seems Neil does not have a lot of time for people who are no longer operating at 100% capacity, either due to substance problems or cancer.

I can't believe the amount of comments here suggesting that just because you've been married for a long time you're somehow not entitled to get divorced if you're no longer in love with that person? Like Neil should have just sat around the house unhappy in his relationship. I felt for Pegi completely when they split up, but some things just come to an end and you have to accept that and move on

I had googled Jackson Browne and the whole Darryl situation, and part of the surf was about her relationship with JFK Jr and the struggles they had. Neil doesn’t have much to write about these days…his newer songs reflect that. He’s such a topical writer now, trying to save the world from all the “established bad”. I only listen to his old stuff. The old stuff is the memory I want of him. I wish he had actually “burnt out, than faded away”. As far as remarrying goes…I don’t know the details. I’m not aware of him being a believer in Jesus. Hard pill to swallow for the ones Of the world: If a man or woman divorces outside of biblical reasons, those 2 remain married for eternity in God’s eyes.

I lost all respect for Neil when I heard that he had divorced Pegi. He didn't have the balls to tell Pegi; she received the papers! This after Pegi had been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus. He is a total coward. God bless Pegi's soul. She has passed away.

No one has a right to remain married to their unwilling spouse, except in countries that have virtually no respect for human rights.
