    Hey you guys! If you’re up to date with my videos, then you know I recently tried the new popular Revair Reverse Air Dryer. It claims to be half the wattage if a regular blow dryer, and get it straight faster. So, I decided to compare it to my Revlon Blow Dryer Brush which also is an amazing blow dryer with a paddle brush. Let’s see which gets my hair straight and faster!
    Revair Reverse Air Dryer $399

    Revlon Hair Dryer Brush $39.99 (Ulta having 50% off Black Friday)

    Your RevAir side looked way sleeker than the Revlon side before you brushed the RevAir side out.
    I think the RevAir is worth the price if one takes into account the reduction in breakage and risk of heat damage. Not everyone's hair can sustain the constant brushing of the Revlon especially those with kinkier and more dense textures.

    • @angelicdazzle
      @angelicdazzle 5 ปีที่แล้ว +41

      That’s the only reason I am more leaning on the rev air.... because when I use brush blow dryer my hair comes out I’m stranded.... like the Felicia leatherwood brush I lose a lot less hair vs a denman.... I have high porosity thick easy to tangle 4c hair.... so the breakage from a brush blow dryer is too much

    The revair side looked smoother and silkier. $400 is steep, less brushing, less combing, less manipulation, less breakage, more hydrated softer silkier hair....probably worth it. Especially over the long run.

  • @jbb8261

    For anyone wondering, just get the Revlon brush.
    The Revlon brush works if you use it for tension (hold it vertically and pull your hair taught, then move down.). Not as an actual brush. I never brush my wet hair with it. That dries it out.
    The way she’s using it works for her, but I totally don’t get results that way.

    I think that it depends on hair type and thickness. I've slightly heat damaged my hair in the past and usually try to avoid direct heat for that reason. I have low - normal porosity hair that is very thick and would worry how many passes that I'd need from the brush. But I don't wear my hair straighten a lot anyway and heat protectant is a thing.

    I like the $40 Revlon Brush... The price is right for my budget, so I don't mind doing a few times or even using the flat iron after one stroke with the Revlon. I barely have hair, decided to go really short because is so fine and straight, you can see my friggin brain 🤯 So I got myself a human hair lace wig and they sent me a kinky one instead of natural curls. It's just to much work for me having RA 🤪 I'm going to try this Revlon brush. The good thing is a wig, so it'll last longer until I have to shampoo it again 🤩
    Thanks for taking your time to share your tips with us.

    The Revair side didn’t just look more straight, but also smoother and silkier. Can you explain how you straightened the Revair side? It looks like you released tension on it as you put your hair into the nozzle, but how does it stay straight once inside?

  • @jaycoca3630
    @jaycoca3630 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Wow this would be my first time blow drying my hair myself and the revair side looks better and slightly straighter on the ends but I still think that for that much money it should leave your hair somewhat a flat ironed look all together but then again some people prefer the really slick flat ironed look which is why they would probably pick the revair but I’ll pick the brush and just make sure my hair is thoroughly detangled to reduce any breakage because 400 is a lot of money 😩

    Iamtraeh here on TH-cam review this hair dryer the $400 one she said she liked it but she don't think she would ever spend $400 on a blow dryer...

    In my opinion the Revair section is straighter and smoother.

    Dyson has a brush. Would love to see a video of natural hair with a dyson brush.

    The Rev Aire is better, but for $400 it better be better. Also I would think that the brush would cause breakage especially on 4C hair
