its not going to help if you already have a 4090...the game is CPU bound even with a 7800x3d the fps is the same at 4k and 1440p...you need a faster CPU for this game
The subtitle of the game "Wilds" is correct because it's fucking wild that you can only get sub 60fps in this game in a big empty desert on an RTX 4090 in 4k. AI Upscaling is basically a requirement for this game.
Rarely is the GPU steadily used at 99% utilization. Moreover, the CPU isn't 100% maxed. There are thus various software code-paths that are clearly un-optimized. We don't need a Ph.D to come to this conclusion. It's seriously pathetic, shame on #Capcom for sharing this bad software, and asking us to pre-order. Good luck to #Capcom, it will need it a lot of it.
It would simply mean that the 4090 is bottlenecking the CPU if the CPU is at 100% utilization. Please, find me a single game where both the CPU and GPU are at 100% utilization with the GPU being the 4090. You won't find it. Also for the entire video the GPU is at a minimum of 95% usage, that extra 4% won't make a perceptible difference. I'm not saying that this game is not poorly optimized because it is, what I'm saying is your analysis is bad.
The only way I can think of why the performance is this bad is either general bad optimization, or they for some reason have three different maps for each of the seaons loaded in at the same time so they can switch between them when the seasons change. Other than that I have no idea
