I was going to buy the product and found your review to check out before buying. As thanks I deleted my cart and used your link to buy it instead so you get a commission. thanks for the honest review.
I just received a notification from Ninja yesterday showing this. I have to buy it and it's a reasonable price. So glad I saw this to really see how it is.
I am so excited about this one! We have had so many convenience stores close down in the past few years. It’s getting hard to find a slushie store now.
@34:04 was moment of truth. I think for all us slushie fans the consistency isnt right. Too icy, not smooth. The 2nd drink and you hear its already dry is the death sentence for me. I appreciate your awesome coverage! Was really excited about the product
Per their inspiration guide for this machine TEMPERATURE CONTROL SETTING Each preset will start at a default/optimal temperature for ideal texture. If desired, adjust the temperature for your perfect frozen drink texture. For sippable frozen drinks, decrease the temperature level by pressing the bottom arrow on the control panel. For thicker, colder frozen drinks, increase the temperature level by pressing the top arrow on the control panel.
@@carlotta120489 Even in Ninjas own short released today the slushie is just too chunky / not smooth. According to the directions for soda you select slush then ensure 3 lights illuminated. Sounds like Dad did only 2 bars so it should have been less frozen but it still came out chunky/dry. My argument being the point of this machine is a simple and consistent producer of good slushies. If you have to experiment and test each time it defeats the purpose. At this point trying to perfect a blender version of this makes more sense. Spending the $300 does not make your life any easier. Should be just put stuff in and it comes out great
@@justinbaker2883The creami is the same way. Sometimes you have to respin and add more milk etc to get the perfect consistency for your ice cream. It’s all how the individual prefers it. I get what you are saying but you haven’t waited to see others reviews or anything else yet. You are basing it off of very limited information currently. To each their own. Ordered mine and can’t wait to test it out :)
Can you please tell me if the milkshake setting on this makes smooth/soft serve style milkshakes, like McDonalds would give you, or is it more of just a milkshake flavored slushy with tons of ice crystals in it? The kids and I are more into milkshake than slushies so I'm wondering if it would be worth it for us still. Thanks.
It took you almost an hour to make & then clean the machine to make 24 Oz slush using two cans of Pepsi. You have the initial $300 upfront cost plus the cost of the soda . I can go to ampm and get a medium freeze for 50 cents!
I'm very tempted by this one, but being diabetic, it's probably not a good idea, especially with that "low sugar" warning. I wonder if you can use a sugar substitute in place of regular sugar, like Splenda or Stevia. That would be an interesting test because some of the recipes on their website do include adding sugar as an ingredient.
You can download the manual on the product page. It states that sugar is needed to make slushies, minimum of 4%. I remember it saying that for a 20oz beverage, 18g of sugar is needed. Worst part is, it clearly states that sugar substitutes will not aid in meeting the min or max sugar requirements. A shame, really. I'm not diabetic but I try my best to avoid sugar in my diet. Maybe once the machine has enough in the market, people will come up with recipes that use as little sugar as possible.
@@elias_piestra yeah I really wanted to try this but my doctor would have a fit. At least there are low sugar Creami recipes out there for that machine. Hoping it's the same here but it sounds like science won't allow it lol
They probably had a limited stock since it's a new product , they probably just want people to do a review of it before they make anymore because they wouldn't want to make a lot of units then have it receive a lot backlash for being terrible if it doesn't work the way it should.
Hi, I’m sorry for bothering you. I know you did this a couple days back and I’m sorry that I didn’t catch your life but just curious if you don’t mind me asking as I’m totally blind is it a touchscreen or is it actual buttons and are they difficult to use? Thank you so much hope to hear from you. Love your videos.
It appears to have tactile buttons on the left side and automatically select the correct default temperature for each function. Temperature adjustment is on the right and I can't quite tell how that's done but making adjustments to the temperature would require visual feedback as do apparently the low sugar and high alcohol notifications. So I think it depends exactly what you need to do with it. I can't tell if there's an audible signal with those notifications but probably with knowledge of how many indicators represent the default temperature for each function and the total number of indicators (I'm guessing it looks like between about 6 and maybe 10) you could manage temperature adjustments by figuring out how many clicks or taps or buttonpresses to go in either direction. The serving mechanism is a mechanical valve on the front that probably has to be soaked in warm water to clean it and I'm not sure if it has to be disassembled and reassembled or exactly how tedious that is if so. Hope this helps. Dude's a dick to leave your comment here for three weeks unanswered.
Hi, I just want to say thank you so much for your kindness. The fact that you would do all that research just for me someone that you’ve never even met is so awesome thank you so much. Hope to hear from you again and I really do appreciate what you did. Thank you.
@@crystalgentry9133 it's no problem. The only research I did was watch the video. I could give you better answers if I was getting one but I think I might pass on it. I have a vitamix that turns ice cubes into snowcone fluff for diet Cokes and this thing apparently doesn't do too great with diet soda. Haven't tried vitamixing a frozen Diet Coke yet but guess that's the next step.
@@nautygoesdeep correct. Somehow it has sensors that know and will alert you to add sugar which would kinda defeat the purpose of wanting to drink a diet soda

Ninja products are amazing. Definitely ideal for families needs. All they need now is to come out with a chocolate maker 😋😋.
THANKS FOR THE REVIIIIIEEEEW!! I came to find what I could on this machine yesterday and you must’ve made this right after. Thank you!
Just found this. Started looking at it a couple of days ago. They are sold out now. Maybe from your video
😂
Enjoyed your video and attitude. Love Ninja/Shark myself as well. 🥂
I was hoping that you would review this one. Thanks so much 💙👍🏽

Can’t wait to see if you do the Prestige.
Loved your review. I want one now but I will have to wait until it's released in the UK
Hope you enjoy it!
Ok ninja I'm wait for the nacho cheese machine next
I hope they release it in Europe
The last thing I needed was another Ninja product...
Pretty impressive to make a slushy at home in under 10 minutes!
i want one but cant seem to get it in the uk gutted
Very nice Hoping It goes on sale for Black Friday
Can you do plain black coffee in the machine or has to be a sweet coffee?
it has to have some sugar
I just saw it on there web site it had $299.00 price. Hope it does go on sale
That pop melted pretty fast
I often use your Delonghi True Brew de-scale video. ❤
The best!
how to slushi and frappe's compare in this machine compared to making them on the Ninja CREAMi Deluxe Ice Cream Maker?
WHEN in the Netherlands ? Wauw

Nice but I have something like it that uses ice and salt this is nice if it was 150.00 or less.
I can make a faster slushie/smoothie in the Ninja blender. Plus it's just another big bulky appliance
Do you stop it and what happens?
Not sure if you mentioned this? But, did they send you the unit for free? 😂
yes they did, normally i buy all my own stuff, I did put that in the video. I can honestly Give it a big thumbs UP!!!!!!
Can u do coffee review
I just bought 3 new Keurigs, so they will be comign in about a 3 weeks
Where can we buy this product
ninja web site only right now
I wanted to purchase this item, but I am from Australia and specs show it has a 120v current…Australia has 240v…does that make it unusable here?
yeah only 120 v
Wish it was a gallon size tho
Lot's of luck finding one.....Out of stock on Ninja website. Not available on Amazon, etc.

And… It’s already sold out. ☹️
269 is nothing if you knew what the 7 eleven machines cost
They already raised the price to 299
"64 ounces, thats like a 12 pack" not quite my friend lol, your math teachers are very mad right now

I don't put anything from Ninja near a dishwasher
Seeing you get this for free honestly annoys me.. Here in Canada we get nothing given to us. Great, video but honestly annoyed how lucky you are
Fair enough
I saw it was $300. Cool product but not for me ( unless they make a smaller version that can be. Put away

Can you use zero sugar soda for slushes
Why WOULDN'T you be able to?
Cannot, needs minimum amount of sugar. Can't be too low of sugar and too high of alcohol
