  • How to pronounce past tense words that end with ed
Hello! I originally created this lesson on the Hallo Speak English app. I wanted to recreate it here so you can practice and review it when needed. When we have simple past tense verbs English learners often mispronounce the ending "ed" sound because they want to say what they see.
However, there are some general rules which will work MOST of the time. In this video, I cover how to read and say past tense verbs that end in 'ed' such as melted, huffed, baked, banded, banned. If you memorize and practice these general rules you will sound more like a native English speaker.
If you enjoyed this lesson, and want to see more of me or more lessons like this... please comment below. You can also visit my Facebook group, my profile on Hallo and join a class to speak with me in REAL-TIME. New classes starting soon!
(If the links don't work please comment. You should be directed to the Hallo app where you can create a FREE account. Once you are set up you can try the link again and find me under "TEACHERS". Look for my pink circle. More directions are on the Facebook page. :).
