Nice Video but I think you really need to consider what euro type engine the van has. The UK is getting more and more Clean Air Zone/Low Emission Zones and this does affect motorhomes. For example, the 2013 Auto Trail Chieftain Frontier for £53000 that you featured will cost you £100 a day to drive within the London Low Emission Zone. A more further afield example, to get to the Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferry it will cost you £50 to drive to the ferry terminal and another £50 when you return. This van will become a right PITA as more cities and towns adopt CAZs. I’m currently looking for a new van and because of where I live I’m not even bothering to look at anything that isn’t euro 6 or above.
One thing you should mention when going in these vans is the gearboxes, some were automatic which when new would have cost in the region of £2000 plus, just a thought 👍
I guess everyone has different needs/desires in a camper van. I found some of the fridge freezers way too big. We are self sufficient with solar and alternator charging and subsequently I’m very aware of power consumption. For us a big fridge wouldn’t work. Done great ideas for future builds though! The one thing I find with modern day MH and caravans for that matter, is the interiors are so bland and dull, well to me any way, everyone to their own as they say. Beats me, @mminc4026 but it seems to be the average price of a motorhome these days
People downsize from their large homes and invest in a MH during their retirement. Myself I would never buy one as I like to travel further a field.
You can get to Europe Asia and Africa in one.

Pilote is pronounced with the ‘T’ sounded = pee-lot. I also liked the Pilote a lot.
And the Swift Compact. It’s narrower I believe, therefore without the stick-out side mirrors.
We've always pronounced it the French way, Michael.
‘Pee-lot’ is the French pronunciation, being French for ‘pilot’.
Go online you can pick up Brand new motor homes very cheap now in many cases up to £10,000 off for cash buyers

2nd hand prices ate going to cone down. The lock down buyers giving up on the idea. It’s beginning to happen with the used guitar market.
