Great mid size ATV. I use my 2002 year round and added lots of other mods for cold winter use like hot grips, chains, heated seat and engine warmer. It starts right up even down to -20 and any colder the flywheel becomes hard to pull but I added a NOCO charger to boost it on the coldest days, I've started it this way down to -30! Super reliable
will be on the look out for more videos of this bike im getting one soon aand it needs some work so im gonna need some help lol but you have a nice bike
@@israelalcantar8765 now that they are all 20 years old, it will be hit or miss depending on how they were cared for. Overall pretty simple and repairable machine.
@@israelalcantar8765 Really depends on maintenance and how much use it has. It is not a honda. The 2stroke 250 polaris trail boss would be a better machine to keep a long time if you had to put an engine in it. the 4strokes 325 are a little more complicated.
This is one of the first machines I rode back in the day when I first rode a machine. This and a friend's trailblazer. Definitely a great beginner machine, and I believe there are alot of them floating around out there. Great video friend. See you later.
The Trail Boss is a 4 stroke so there is no oil mixing. The Trail Blazer is a 2 stroke and you just have to put 2 stroke oil in the front reservoir tank and it mixes automatically.
I'd like to see where you found one that is running good for under a thousand dollars? I restore them and sell them fast for 3k. Maybe an old never been repaired original parts running at your own risk for $1000.00!
I used to find older Polaris atvs for under $1k on Marketplace all tje time before Covid. A little trickier now buy I still see them from time to time. NC , SC, TN areas.

@@factionfx so my concern is how expensive can be to replace the motor? Or transmission in case that any of this fails 🤔?

@@israelalcantar8765 not too expensive at all. Basic, not a lot if moving parts.

Oh ok. Very cool. Yep I plan to do a comparison of that and the Trailblazer soon. Agreed 100%. Thanks for watching and commenting Rodney.
Top speed on mine was 52mph... And it was stock.
Ok. Mine was a bit down on power. Not bad.
How do you mix the oil in these things for the tank
