The tranquil mood of the Kalyans, gradually but briefly give place to lyrical and romantic ragas like Anandi, Tilang and Kedar, ragas suitable alike for late evening or early night. The volume begins with a sitar rendition of raag Yaman by Shahid Parvez, followed by Pandit Jasraj's vocal rendition of raag Shankara and then the raag Mishra Ghara, of the Kafi that, sung by Shruti Sadolikar. The Mishra Ghara/Gara is famously associated with the song Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, a song on Lord Ramchandra.
