Mate honestly, I am absolutely loving this. Brought a really good element to the channel, and just pure entertainment. And I hope a good friendship has come from it as well! Big love mate
I never really cared about fishing, no matter how many times my dad dragged me along as a kid, however I can remember my grandad describing pike as these huge monsters that will eat anything, and live in basically every lake and river. About a year ago I got some cheap fishing rods from the car boot and decided I was going to catch a pike, did not expect to spend the whole year pike fishing but I have honestly loved every second of it, I barely do anything else anymore, could not have done it without your videos, thanks Carl
The joys of fishing brums canals 🤣. My pb was a bride of chucky Doll! Can't believe none of you managed to be graced with the silver shimmer of the spectacular shopping trolley fish.
My gosh now that is urban .. I was almost anxious watching you fish the cut around Aston and gravelly hill . 😂it’s about as far removed from the wye valley or Sussex Downs as you can get 🤣👍🎣you had a great laugh though and that’s what matters most 🌞🌞🎣
That was an Awesome adventure Carl! Awesome video as well. At least you had a Pike at the end that makes it all worth it and so much more appreciated!🎣🎣
Midlands canals in general are just challenging. However there are some big fish in them. Took me 7 months to catch my first pike out of my local canal (I was still learning). I’ve caught 7 pike out of that stretch over 3 years. Biggest of 20lb 9oz (the pike in my profile pic). Truly my best catch ever
What fishing is about at times. Getting out with friends and having a laugh whilst really trying to catch the prize. Well done Carl and snagbros of course
I love Urban fishing but I also like other areas too. I have went to some urban areas have been quite surprised. Even caught some of the biggest fish I've got in my life. But the biggest fish I caught was in a natural setting. Nice fish everyone. Good job sticking with it.
More of these please! I thought it was only me that had days like that Carl 🤣👍. Sitting here with my Christmas cold and this one really cheered me up so thanks chaps!

Nice vid bro. You three are funny together. I laughed a lot at the snags. Me and my bro sea fish really rough ground - good fishing but also countless snags. Was funny and relatable. Well done on the fish and trying a different type of location. Have a great Christmas
Superb and hilarious video with many a triumph over the environment and the rare gems of fish that inhabit there. Snag battles were ingeniously conquered at times too, plus those special urban captures as trophy shots of tents, bikes, car parts and nearly kitchen sinks. What struck me too, is the sheer beauty of the urban environments decor! Something TH-cam can never really capture, is the urban artists incredibly daring and vibrant creations under cover of darkness and anonymity for such activity. Look at the pieces of seriously skillfull Graffiti art on display there! Real pity it's not possible to document their own daring activities properly. Imagine the scrapes they get up to, to deck the urban walls with their talented glories some would deem follies! In terms of urban Piking though Carl and kin, I would suggest you visit Manchester next and I think you should get in touch with Phil Blakey as a collaboration video. Been a long time since I checked his current state of play in the fishing world but he popularised the underwater wolf cameras on National TV whilst lure fishing and seemingly knows the Manchester Dirty waters like the back of his hand. I missed out on an invite years ago to meet up with him but he's a real gent along with Bob. Monsters await in the Manchester Canals and I don't just mean the infamous canal pusher!
