This Bentley philosopher is the cat's whiskers. Humour, common sense and unrealistic aspirations in equal measure.
Thank you very much!
Seen quite a few videos of Bentley cars because I am thinking of getting one. But it seems that the expensive British cars are good for the first 2 years then it break down bit by bit and goes on for years. As a Sunday driver. Don't want to get stuck on the road side. After listening to your honest opinion. I will certainly not buy one but admire all other who have the knowledge and patience to keep these lovely car on the road
Thanks Steven, appreciate the comment :)
Very informative, thank you for taking the time out to do these videos. Looking forward to the drainage holes in the boot video!
Brilliant honest video made up my mind now 😊 thanks mate
Thank you Shahed, much appreciated mate :)
Loving the more personal vibe!! 🎉
Had one join the family last year and so far it’s been great. It did a France trip in its first few weeks and hasn’t really had any major issues. Agree that vcds is a great tool to have. So far the jobs that I’ve done include, tpms disable, bonnet and boot badges, new wing mirror glass, new rear parking brake motors, new main battery to the correct AGM type, manufactured a new boot button contact, cleared drains (the spoiler ones are fun when they are blocked and water pools) Luckily the only vacuum issue so far was a damaged dipstick which was letting a lot of air in.
Cheers Luke, sounds like you've been busy mate! If you've any footage or top tips of doing any of this stuff you'd like to share I'd gladly pull a video together for everyone. 😊

Cheers Vince! Good to hear from you mate. Keep me right will you boss?
Noblesse oblige means something like courtesy of the nobles, or courtesy of a nobleman. Cool, huh?
It's how you feel driving one of these cars. Like your above being petty and angry. It's a new feeling for me lol
Enjoyed video, thanks. The VCDS is this the software used by the dealers or do they have something else?
No Graham, it's basically an emulator that copies many of the features of VAGcom. I think John Bowling would be the guy to talk to about the more serious options, in fact if you search for Odin on the group he mentuo Ed it to us last week :)
In fact if you subscribe there's a video showing how to connect VCDS to your car and I'll be doing a lot more on it specific to Bentley ASAP:)
What about the Bentley Turbo R 🤔
Hi Gary, I don't have one so I can't really say but I'd be interested in your experience if you'd like to share? Closest I came was driving one for weddings back in the 90s :)
@@BentleyOnABudget-mp8jj I don't have one never driven one tbh but I've always been tempted, it's not so much the buying guess the maintenance is the biggest consideration, 10k car but still having 100k plus car running costs, how do they drive 🤔
