Enjoyed your video. Thought I'll just share mine... 2013 CGT 6.0 W12 Road tax costs £4360 per annum, insurance £2200 per year after discount for good driving record, Super unleaded fuel about £2/ liter monthly usage about £300. Yearly inspection £30. Converted to GBP. Cheers! ✌️
@@zakmirza you bet! Fun fact, a new Volkswagen Polo 1.0 TSI cost £92500 to own, excluding tax. The best part for the price is.... You can own it for ONLY 10 years!!! That's how they do it here.
Insurance for my GT is £263, £300 excess SAGA insurance, 5000 miles, even though I only do around 3000. Bi-annual service with a local Bentley specialist £600.
Bought my Flying Spur from a well known London specialist, with a 2 year warranty. After a year it went in for service & MOT. They found wet carpets due to blocked rain drainage holes so had to strip out the front seats & carpet and dry it all out. Also replaced leaking cam cover gaskets. Other work to fix non working heated seats was done under the warranty. They are good, expert people who know what they're doing, so better than taking it to your local 'we service all makes' outfit. But, total bill was £2500. You will NOT get away with £1000 a year, ever. It'll always need tyres, brakes or some other fault fixed. Don't think that these are somehow more reliable than mainstream cars - they have more to go wrong !
Sounds like you had an experience and a half with your one. So far things havent been too bad for me, hence wanted to share my experience. But thanks for detailing your own one here for everyone to see. By all means if you have found a good place, please write the details here so others can see as it will help. Thanks for watching.
@@zakmirza this conversation seems to have a much higher relevance when talking about bentleys in the sub 20-30k range. If you can afford a new or under warrenty 1 you prolly dont need to spend time thinking about the small change it costs to keep on the road.
@johndoe-yi3dx i wouldn’t recommend spending 20 to 30k when buying a Bentley. You will get one which has had like 5 owners and questionable history. Bentley replace the littlest of items - this is my 2nd one so not much surprises me 😬
I am getting a bentley for 35000 cad , i live in canada , Should i get it as i can not spend more than 10k cad per year on a car , it has 68000 miles on it 2006 model 😅😅 please suggest.
10k CAD for annual running costs (gas, taxes, insurance and maintenance) seems enough. But make a list of all these costs (call ur Bentley specialist about the cost of servicing to get that figure). Important u have an idea of how much each costs to make sure u can afford. Not sure how much more expensive these might be in Canada. This car you are looking at, make sure u check it over or get a mechanic to have a look so u have an idea of the breaks, tyres and other components like the suspension once they jack the car up. Take your time when looking for a car - there will always be something. Took me 3 months to find mine.

Now those prices make my costs seem a bargin! Thanks for sharing your costs - which country are you from?
@@zakmirza I'm from Singapore.
@@zakmirza In retrospect, realised how much more we're actually paying for luxury😂
Awww got it. Make sense it’s super expensive to own and run ANY car there!

Still my dream car and maybe one day..........Thanks for sharing.
Keep planning and I’m sure you can get one 👍🏽
Cant put a price on making a dream come true.
Finally - someone who understands! 😂😂
You could use VAG specialist for servicing. Engine is a VW unit. It may be cheaper than a Bentley specialist.
True - that’s if I’m able to do the service myself - clearly I am not 🥺

Costing you about £1.30 per mile. Sounds expensive to me.
Now that’s a great stat! Never thought of it that way 🫣
My lexus doesn't cost much less ifs not expensive if u have money nothing is expensive
Wait why’s my insurance double than yours 😩😭 I need to get it out of London
Location in London + age = 💰
Wait how can you pay $688 per year?!?!? That's just basic coverage, correct?
No, it’s full coverage
@@zakmirza Wow! I'm in the USA in Chicago and insurance would be much higher.
@@michaelpatton9573 I guess USA depends a lot as insurance is more regional. In uk if you hunt around you can get really good deals on insurance.
im going for a older one now silver dawn straight six free tax the main problem is selling it no one wants em
still a head turner if u can daily drive that one! that would be a long term investment i would think. Still sounds cool!
Not bad cost
Because it cost that much to run a normal car
yeaaa i think so too :)
Insurance is pretty cheap in UK
It has been - but prices have increased approx 20% last year - for no reason!
guess im buying an audi instead of a bentley, thanks
Noooooooooooooooo! 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

tires are cheap in UK comparing to US
Really? Strange since the US has a good domestic manufacturing of tyres - but Pirelli do have a factory in Mexico so prices shouldn’t be too expensive
Put simply: A lot haha
Errr yea - once I added the numbers up it is more than I initially thought 🫣
You just can’t afford it
Or - I am just being transparent so people see the real costs involved. Take your pick 😜
