Hi! I'm glad the video was helpful! We did have wifi at our hostel however it did not work very well. I also need gps to travel I cannot survive without it. I am also American, but I have t-mobile. T-Mobile works overseas and they don't charge you for data. They also give you unlimited roaming so that's what I use! If you are worried about it you can always buy a local sim card. If you are staying in Mykonos town it is very small so you shouldn't get too lost :)
Good question! It is free to hang out on the beach as long as you don't lay in one of the chairs. If you bring your own towel and lay on that then it is completely free :)

Instead of trying to go in Mykonos on a budget choose an other beautiful Greek island. There are so many different options! Same landscape, architecture and crystal clear Aegean sea... Mykonos is not any fun if you haven't got the money.

Was it so noisy I remember staying in phi phi noise was horrific in budget acomodation only downside x
