Thank you for sharing the joy of God's Good News, my sister in Christ! I continue to think about and pray about your mission! You are doing awesome work for God. May God bless you with bountiful mercies and hope!
Rose of Sharon is like something right out of heaven. Your area was on national news that heat cell that stayed over your area. I was worried about you. Our hummers come out after the sun goes over the house and the back is in shade. They fight over the feeder. I am glad you got out early. Before the heat gets worse. LOL Don't chase butterflies you will run into a gate. I was 6 and trying to catch a white butterfly and I ran smack into the iron gate. I had a black eye in my first grade picture. LOL We are praying for you mom and dad. They never stop being our parents. It is terrible for you up there. But we are used to it. I am sure folks in your area are not equipped for this kind of heat. Our early fall, late summer temps are in the 90's and we give thanks. God bless all those in the heat zone. Please Lord do not let the evil one take away people from your Hands. We are all in your Hands Lord. Keep us well until you gather your Bride for the wedding feast. In Jesus name we pray. Amen GBY Bev, I love you.
Oh were we on the news? How about that! ~ but not for a great reason, obviously! it is indeed frustrating after that really nice cooler weather we just had ~ to find ourselves back in the "bake zone." All I can do is hope to save them for one more day. Our chance for rain has gone up, thank goodness! I am definitely praying for rain again! After 20 inches in one month, you would have thought we would be okay, but the heat is shrinking the soil, at least it seems. I can pull rather large tree seedlings up with ease, with all the roots intact because the ground is almost like compete dust now. And I realize we are relatively blessed and much better off than most people on this earth. Yes, I think God is trying to tell us something! Get ready! Thank you for the prayers for my folks. I think they were doing better last evening, so hopefully they both got some good rest. Mom tries to cook too much and I'm afraid she wears herself out with that. But that's the way self-sufficient folks are! I will definitely watch out if I should feel frisky enough to chase a butterfly! I'll bet you had a hard time living that one down! If this was today, Social Services would be paying your family a visit, I'm sure to make sure you were okay! I love you, sister Joyce! God bless you for your prayers and thoughtfulness!
@@ATouchOfTheSun NOT in the 50's. There was NO child abuse laws. We were property according to the state. EVERYONE believed in spanking and NO ONE was accused to being too hard on their kids. My older sister who was like another mom to me said it defined me. I had a hard time with gauging distances. I got glasses for distance for 2 years. Then my vision corrected itself again. They told me it was because I flowered early. What a silly term. Anyway I developed early and it messed up my vision. Black eyes, skinned knees and no breaks until I was 10. I broke my little toe from wearing flip flops. I am a mess these days. But I don't run into fences anymore. There are so many larger targets! LOL I wish you and I could sit down for a cuppa and just talk. I think we would find we are compatible sisters. GBY
@@JJDigitalartStudio My vision is terrible ~ always has been! i can appreciate the knocks and falls and run-ins with doors and things that appear out of nowhere! Sister, maybe we could Facetime! I know there is a time difference, and I would like to do that in the garden (for me), so maybe when it gets a bit cooler and the leaves are swirling down? I will have my family history of names my mom gave me of those she knows of that moved to Arizona to see if you are familiar with any of them. I do believe we are related, at least cousins of cousins! That would be fun! What do you think about that idea? God bless you, sis!
@@ATouchOfTheSun I would love it. But I doubt it. I am of German, French and Scot ancestry. The Scot if from the distaff side of my grandfathers family. And they have lived in Minnesota and WI, the only states besides Kansas where my uncle was a pastor. I only got to meet him once as a child where I remember. Besides what does it matter. Maybe our souls were friends in heaven before we were born. We are "Blood" relative by Jesus. That is the strongest bond you can have. I have tried Face-time once and I did not get how to keep it on. Just get these hugs from me long distance. {{{{{}}}}}} HUG!
@@JJDigitalartStudio I am getting those hugs! I hope you are getting mine ~ they are sent with super rubberbands, so they will be sure to get there! Well, I know we are sisters, for sure ~ we're all related, right?! And surely, the blood of Jesus makes us heaven-bound, where where we came from is totally irrelevant ~ is a good guess, anyway! Love and God bless you, sis!
Did you look up Leanna Crawford, a song called still Waters, she said anxiety hates Psalm 23, check it out Beverly, I think you will enjoy it, I have prayed for you, sick family members, and I understand you've had to do some emergency watering, I prayed about that too, God bless you Beverly, I missed you yesterday, but I saw your short video
I did hear Leanna Crawford's song Still Waters, on one of your videos ~ I think it was a short, but I remember it was indeed awesome. I will have to listen to it again! Thank you for your prayers, brother Norm! That's really awesome! I was wondering if you all were still needing rain. I think you are in worse shape than we are, which is rather frightening. But what can we do? God is in control of the weather, so we all should pay attention! As sister Joyce said, He is preparing us a wedding feast! One day, we will be in His heaven, praising Him and singing Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty! And I am sure there will be living waters and green pastures all around us ~ as well as amazing colors and creatures and creations! Amen! Love you and God bless you!
