Have you read my post? I been posting that for many years. The CHURCH is PEOPLE who BELONG to the LORD JESUS. HE is the HEAD. WE are HIS BODY ... if ... WE BELONG to HIM. It is NOT the building on the corner OR day of the week. When I drive by a BUILDING and no one is there but others are in my car, I say, "SHHHHHHHHHHHH.... GOD is SLEEPING...." I am NOT mocking GOD. I am MOCKING man!!!

I cannot truly say that Jesus is IN that church.. nor in the hearts of those agreeing to this... 1 Corinthians 6:9.. flat out tells us.. that... this is sin... “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,” why go to a church where one is NOT equally yoked...?.. “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” and 2 Corinthians 6:14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” I tend to agree with "janeyraymond".. in a way... unless there is a remnant in that church.. that can oppose.. that minister and depose him.. I am Not sure if I could go there either...
I grew up going to a church that had me terrified of God. The preacher was always yelling about how we're gonna all burn in hell. I never learned about the love of God. Fast forward to around age 54 I tried going to church again til the pastor started telling us that if newborn babies die without being baptized they will burn in hell. Never went back. Now 68 years old and I got saved around 8 months ago sitting at my kitchen table alone when I read that God is love. I burst into tears and I felt the Lord rush in. I know I was filled with his holy spirit at that moment cause after that came a hunger for God and for his word. Now I have a online church and pastor who actually teaches the gospel. Ive learned so much and God has been so good to me. Hes very patient and loving and Im happy. 🙏❤️😊

My wife and I, like most, have been through what I called the “church mill”. Do you understand, we’re never to be called to compromise the truth. Yes! I left the assembly of God because the pastor loves Joel Osteen, duplantis. Copeland, etc. To top it off he ordained a female pastor. I now attend a non denominational church of about 40 members.. where the Bible speaks we speak. Where the Bible is silent we're silent. We follow to tv wolves and have the Sacrament every Sunday.
My husband and I quit going to church 10 years ago after we saw so much lying, begging for money, being shunned, etc. My family of origin is Baptist and they’re so mean, judgmental and stingy, etc. that we’ve cut ties. I read the Bible, listen to good preaching online, and stay away from most people.

Thank you for sharing your testimony of God's love still pouring into you. I also left organized religion. I went back to the Book of Acts and I am now gathering in the homes of people who are tired of organized religion as well and it is the best decision I made. I have learned that if I would've stay where I was, I would not be here today. I have grown more spiritually in the last three years than in the 30-something years I was going to the building. It's hard to find a church. The last one I went to I was on fire for God, volunteering, and working hard. But when you know the truth you can't settle or be complacent or compromise on the Word of GOD. Everything you were talking about was exactly how the last pastor was. When I left I had prayed and wrestled with searching my heart. But I heard in my spirit God is not the author of confusion. And I felt at peace with my decision. Im waiting on God right now for direction. Thank you for sharing.
This is me too. Waiting for direction from God while I still go on Sunday morning and Wednesday to sing with the choir. I've fluctuated between sadness and anger about the modern church condition.
@sandraowen6783 the church I am attending now.. has fundamental beliefs yet.. preaches using a liberal translations.. I continue to go.. because.. though the words they read are Not as great as from the KJV.. the teaching is good.. and some in our Sunday School do speak out and read from the KJV aloud.. so it is NOT a total waste.. some have left the church and gone to other churches where the preaching is More liberal and watered down.. I have No desire to speak to them again.. IMO .. they are sad Christians.. leaving a semi bad church for a totally bad one... there is NO excuse for that...
Always pray for God to give you an understanding of the scripture when you read it. God's word does not lie. KJV is the one l have. There are many different versions ,but this one satisfies my soul better than any other version. God knows when we are serious or not. I have realized you can find fault in any church you attend. Some people go looking for faulty people.

I am Not happy with the liberal church I am going to now.. preaching from the NASB or ESV.... but while I am sitting in church.. I can do my OWN bible study reading my KJV...so the time is NOT wasted... You can too.. if you learn how..

The translation in the Greek is Born from above. Get yourself a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible. It's a big help to understand the Word of GOD.

Today's churches are watered down so nobody gets offended. 2 Timothy 4 is definitely at work, Christians really don't want to hear truth anymore, just things that make you feel good. The spread of an imminent rapture has made believers unprepared for tribulation that Jesus said would come for his name sake "even unto death".
You need and should read what God says about the church that He died for and gave authority over Christian’s in this life, we must submit not only to God but also the church, if you can’t submit to the church you probably won’t submit to God.
Glad I found this. I recently went through a breakup with my wife with a personality disorder. She became cold and evil overnight and she broke me to pieces and left. I felt a dark presence coming from her and I was so shocked it woke me up to the evil spirits are here and looking to steal and destroy. I know there is a creator of things and I don’t trust religions. I have prayed asking for guidance many times but I geuss I’m not ready as I am still dealing with my emotional trauma even after 2 years I live alone and have isolated myself from the world with the exception of work. I will keep learning the gospel and hopefully become worthy.

We are made to be social. We are encouraged to pray and study the Bible on our own and with other people. Also, finding someone you can help does wonders for your mental health.
None of us are worthy. we have all fallen short. Talk to GOD. He will hear your prayer. When you are in your bedroom, in the woods, in a corn field, it does not matter. If GOD did not hear the prayer of a sinner, how would anybody get saved
We are not to be Lone Rangers. A commandment in the Bible is: "Forsake not the assembling of your selves together".I need other believers in my life so I do go to church. The church is a building for sure, but I don't worship the church building. I need other believers in my life although they may disappoint me. If other believers disappoint me, it doesn't matter because I will go somewhere to "assemble myself" with other believers. I also need to take communion with other believers. That is also a commandment: "Do this in remembrance of me." I know I may fail other believers. I am a sinner just saved by the blood Jesus shed on the cross. I need Jesus-followers in my life. Hallelujah! Let us pray for those who have been hurt by something in the church. We need each other to encourage us in our walk with Christ. I ask myself a question often: "Am I showing up to be a blessing to some other hurting Christian?" Lord, help me to be about your business. Jesus is coming, and it could be today. I want to be ready. Let is pray for others. Satan is looking for who he may devour, and he loves us to leave the church.
Interesting Enoch was a loner. He lived in the mountains away from the chaos, God did tell him to go preach later, but he stayed away form many, many years. Guess who never died and was taking to heaven? The loner. Just sayin.

I am born again. I live in a major city. From 2003 - 2023 I visited over 150 churches of all denominations, backgrounds, doctrines.......Some I stayed at for 1-2 years and tried to get as involved as possible. What I found was that most of the people were not filled with the love of God. I usually left feeling discouraged. I witnessed so much materialism, political correctness, apostasy, legalism, and pride. However, when I pray alone or with another believer, read my Bible, listen to sermons from anointed teachers and listen to Christian music, I feel peace and joy. That's why I gave up on church. America is the Church of Laodecia.
The problem you will have is with Christ who has given the church authority over you and He is head of the church. And if you cannot submit to the church you will not submit to God either, it’s very important to be involved in the church.

I appreciate your testimony brother. The sad fact that too many Christians are not full of GODS Spirit as much as they are self righteousness that’s been taught them by traditions of denominations. God isn’t done with you! Nor is he done with anyone who truly believes in Him. I totally agree that organized denominations are just as guilty of “cafeteria selectivity” in their beliefs from the scriptures as the competing Churches they condemn. But let’s strive as individuals to please The Lord and not men. I to have turned on attending Church for the same reason. I’ve realized over the years is that True followers of Jesus generally walk alone. But that doesn’t mean they’re hiding their light.
I left my fellowship for a few reasons, and fell afterwards. It’s been over 20 years now. I want to be in the spiritual place I was before but have not been able to find it.
Seventh day Adventist church preach the word of God, if your looking for a church that has perfect people you'll always be disappointed, your not perfect either. Keep praying to God to guide and lead you.
This video really hit home for me; it's how I have felt and still feel to this day about organized religion. Most, if not all, Christian denominations claim that their way is the right path to God, and with so many of them claiming that, how could one possibly know which one of them is right? They all cannot be true. I spent years of my life growing up in the Church of Christ, then once I left it, I spent even more years trying out different denominations until I realized that there's only one truth, and it's this: John 14:6. Of course, I don't hate on denominations or anything like that, but I do think that often times they cause more harm than good; they sow more divisions than they do unity. Actually, the very body of Christ can be so hate-filled towards each other that it's hard for me to even stomach it, so could I really blame anyone for being turned off by it all? Thank God that people are not the judge of our eternal state; only God can judge us, and He already did through His Son. Jesus paid our debt; glory to God!

Me too! I'm in the same shoes. I thank God that I have someone close to me who I've been fellowshipping with since I left the church, and I've been closer with God then i ever have in my entire 20 plus years walk with The Lord. As I continue to strive to preach the gospel wherever I go and and devoting everything in my life to Christ Jesus NOT religion. I left the church building I will never leave my Jesus. I used to belong to a Baptist denomination until that church bullied me and the pastors ignored my cry for help. I go to another church and I have hope returned to me.
@davidhislop2470 I went to a church sort of like that.. the Pastor was so kind.. he Never corrected wrongs in the church because he did not wish to offend anyone.. but when some snarky Young Sunday School teacher.. started teaching his teenage class that it was ok for teenagers to question authority of their parents..( he himself only having 4 grade school girls at the time).. I put my foot down. .and had to tell the pastor either this teacher would stop teaching the teens to rebel against authority.. or we would have to leave the church.. Our teenage son.. had gotten so disrespectful to us.. we almost had to put him in a boys home because of it.. this young teacher was brought up in a Baptist home and his father was a preacher in a different city.. so I guess he thought he could teach no wrong.. not only that.. but he was a bit of a smart aleck always acting like .. us as parents getting upset over things seemed funny to him.. he would often kind of chuckle...about it in front of us.. Now this church has closed.. and he has gone on to a different Baptist church.. I will NOT ever attend a church where he is at.. I pray every day for his demise.. or some tragedy to befall him,.....

I could understand if I was living in sin.. and Not going to church.. but at the time this was going on... I was preparing bible studies for the adult class I was teaching.. leading the choir.. and faithfully attending and reading the word of God in the home.. and sharing this as often as I could with my children...and this teacher was undermining.. all.. the service I was doing fr the Lord.. by training up my children in the ways of the Lord so when they matured they would Not depart from it.. this one teacher.. ruined all of that.. My son is Now.. a philosophy professor... and mathematician.. in another state.. who questions the validity of God.. basically this ONE teacher taught my son.. to question God.. and You are ok with That?.. perhaps you are right though.. I am a Calvinist,,.. I just have to accept the fact that God's will was for my son NOT to be saved.. because judging by the sate he is in now.. I don't believe he ever was... I have to come to terms with knowing a loved one.. is doomed to an eternity in hell. because God chose not to save them.. thank you for helping me to realize this.... God's will be done. .NOT mine...

Amazing, wonderful testimony. As someone who got saved and walked a confused life, I also became a prodigal… the stony ground of my heart where the Lord planted the seed of his Word. After 40 years of watching the Lord intervene with His love and mercy, I finally surrendered. The Lord is full of mercy and love, if you turn to Him. I’ll never understand why he loves me, but I’m humbly His. And He gets ALL the glory, praise, and thanks. I didn’t get away with my sinful life… there are consequences that I deal with, and they’re all my fault. But the Lord is merciful to me and I’m cleaning things up. I’m so glad there are more people like me who humbly stand before the Lord with thankful hearts and testimonies. This video really hits home for me, and is a major encouragement to my heart. I had similar experiences. I grew up in the Baptist Church and it was nothing but one guilt trip after another. If I missed a Sunday, when I'd go to school on Monday people would ask my why I wasn't in church Sunday. We were expected to dress up with starched collars and sit perfectly still in the pew. The preacher would get up and tell everyone they were hell-bound and only Baptists went to Heaven. I thought where is all the love God is supposed to be about? After leaving home at age 18 I never went back to that place. I have bounced around to various churches and finally found a small one that didn't condemn everyone.
I don't think there is a perfect church. Glad your going to that one know. I go half a day on sunday and sing in choir, but my main focus is to surrender and walk with GOD one day at a time seven days a week.
We found the Lord during Covid and read the entire Bible during that time of isolation and after Covid was over many people would ask us, if we were going to a church. We tried going to many churches but something was always off. When we spoke people tried to argue with us about the Bible and something in our spirit was not right so we left. We been reading our Bible on our own ever since and keep on going strong. The Lord puts people on our path to help us along the way. It's been a beautiful experience we couldn't have it any other way. The Lord is so wonderful we has shown us walk not by sight but faith! 🫂✝️🕊️🙌🥹
One does not have to attend church every Sunday to be a Christian.... We all have Bibles and we can all kneel for prayer every night before we go to bed....
I just celebrated with my church our church 50th anniversary, I myself have attended for the past 21 years, they preach from the Bible, holiness and standards, and those that knew me then, don't want anything to do with me, as I have turned my life to Jesus, my way of speaking, dressing, even my hair, my husband hates it, but I follow Jesus. In the town I live in, there are over 70 church because people have tickling ears, find your self an UPCI church, PLUS remember there is no perfect church only a perfect God. It is so sad, knowing those on the feed that know that Word, but they are so stuck on what the Word says, yes I KNOW the church is not a building, the Word also says to NOT forsake the assembling of yourselves, so what & where is it the most logical a building that has been called a church for centuries. They will know you by the love you have for one another, may God richly bless and deepen your walk with Him and be illuminated by His Word, in Jesus mighty name! Amen
I love the thought of communion with believers but most regardless of denomination are weird. Now most are going to hell...the scripture says so. I have met some amazing preachers all the same. thank you for sharing. I will never forget calling a church on the phone and the person was praying with me and prompting me to speak in tounges.... I don't fake it and couldn't do it. Thanks Joel Osteens church. never tried again.
❤ Love you brother. Unfortunately, we are conditioned to believe that our Christianity and faith revolve around church. And while it can be painfully difficult not to have the support of a church as a believer, there is no church for my wife and I presently. Our life experiences are indicative of the fact that most forms of what I call, “church American-style “, are devoid of the spirit of God and man made entities. We too have despaired over this to the point of death, but to take heart. Simply put, God wants you to know you are not alone in your experiences. and while many ostracize us, siding with their churches, pastors and fears, you are in a position to support many with your Channel. We must tarry onward.😊😊😊
We stopped going to church two years ago. Either the denominational ones seem "dead" to us, or the others have pastors who spew prosperity gospel and are focused on money. It's sad. We love Lord Jesus. I wish there was a Calvary Chapel near us, because I know they teach verse-by-verse and don't pick and choose. We listen to pastors online who teach the whole Bible.
I hope you find a good church. There are no perfect churches. Yes mark and avoid preachers that all they talk about is money. I hope yaw at least meet some good christians to fellowship with. Prayers

@@DonaldDouglasJr I try my best not to "skip" as you say I do. I try to attend Church at least 2 times a week. I have taught Sunday school starting in the 80's. We have 24 or so in SS but average attendance is lower than that. Now a Deacon. Our Church is a smaller Church having less than 150 members. I believe a saved person (truly saved person) should obey Hebrews 10:29. People are looking for a Church that can best serve them. They should be looking for a Church in which they can serve in.

Grew up Christian & faded away from it until i went 2 Christian rehab where we read Bible from 8 to 12 everyday for a year..We did other things too but the best year 10 years ago i ever spent..But i went back to several churches w/division everywhere..I now understand church is a place to strengthen everyone's faith 🙏..my study group shut down for covid 19 so i took it as a group overall that didn't trust the Lord to protect them while we were there

I could only imagine how long one of his sermons would be?!?! By the looks of his surroundings it seems like the Lord has blessed him well. I am moved by seeing those without absolutely anything but the faith of a mustardseed. When your life becomes like Job's and against all odds you still keep your faith. That's when a real life situation becomes Biblical! Faith like good health or an innate talent is a blessing from the Almighty. Not everyone gets it! If you have it be grateful, be humble, be glad and spread the Word. Tell everyone that the One in you is greater than any of the ones in this world. I pulled a 28 year prodical son. It left me broken. I lost all my peace and joy. Satan whispered in my ear, you ought to go ahead and blow your brains out. I sieriously thought about it. I slapped my self twice and said GOD I am going to church somewheres tomorrow. I did. I visualized myself putting my arms around the feet of Jesus and I asked him to help me. 20 years later I still am . He restored my peace and Joy. I walk with him now one day at a time
I have had similar church experience however I persist on going to church to worship my Lord most high and occasionally get preaches that are the salt of the earth so i encourage you to meet with fellow Christian s God bless

Thank you for being honest. I served as a deacon when I was young and in my 30s. I was actually too much a novice. Not raised a Christian I carried baggage that made my Christian walk harder. I was raised to speak truth against things that wrong. This didn't go well with some of the leaders because there was backdoor politics going on. In other some of the leaders were sneaking agendas into play and keeping the congregation in the dark. I worked long hours 6 days a week. We never missed a Wednesday night or Sunday services. One Sunday evening we missed training union and was chastised because we went there. There's too much legalism in the church I feel things like is a contributing factor to the denominational churches are losing members. Also when a preacher is notoriously telling people their going to hell it's because they are limited in their knowledge of the Holy word.

Doubts of salvation can result from lack of fruit or good works in our life which support our profession of faith. The church can't save you, nor can water baptism. Only when you receive the gift of faith along with repentance should you have a reason to believe you've become born again.

A church is imperfect, but the word of God must be followed and obeyed inspite of us. If the church doesn’t follow the Lord’s word and the apostles doctrine in Acts 2 then find another church that does. If you join other people to study the Bible and pray, that is a church according to the Bible. I am returning to church after many years. It does encourage you to study and you get new insights or reminders from the inspired word.
Scripture actually calls us to Judge in various verses so lets don't cherry pick the Word. We are called to judge but we must do it without hypocrisy. We judge their words and actions but of course we cannot judge someone eternally. Only the Lord can do that! This is made clear throughout the New Testament!
Bro. Dennis, thanks for your video. I noticed you mentioned Fort Riley. My dad was stationed there in the mid 70's (1st Infantry Div.), we loved Kansas. Anyway, I understand what you are saying about church. Its unfortunate that much of what passes for 'church' today is either sensational emotionalism or outright entertainment. And, granted, some appear harsh, much like the chaplain you mentioned. However, the problem may not be church in general but church in specifics. Bad churches do not deserve members. Good churches do. Christ built (and is continually building) his church. A church is not a building (as many like to point out) but a people. But it is a people, not a person. The local church is created for edification of the saints, instruction in the Bible, and to be salt and light to the world. We can't do that alone, we are called to do it together. Christ gave himself for the church; its a big deal. So, my encouragement would be to find a good church, one preaching the gospel and fulfilling the Bible. It will be hard, but it is possible. You won't find the perfect church (or the perfect family, or perfect spouse, or perfect children, or perfect company, or perfect job, etc.) or one that you agree with on every point. Neither will I. But that's not the point. The point is to serve God in a way he has ordained. I hope you find a good church, one that preaches the gospel. Been watching your videos and they are very good. I thought I was the only one. I was raised in the Southern Church of Christ in Plainview, Texas. I remember all the sermons the Preacher preached were the letters of the Apostle Paul. Now, mind you, I had no understanding of the context of the letters, but there did come a time when I began to wonder why there were never any sermons on the teachings of Christ. I stopped going to church, but I kept reading the New Testament and not being able to make much sense of it. But when someone told me they were a Christian, then I'd see them doing things that seemed to be contrary to what I understood the teachings of Christ to mean. I kept studying the New Testament intermittently through the years while I never attended church. Then, when I did go to the old church of my childhood, at the age of 42 yrs old, again, no sermons on what Christ would do or have us do. But there were sermons about Paul teaching the evils of homosexuals, lady of the evenings. How to test the spirits and root out the ungodly and shun them. I learned that God could not be found in a church. In fact, I began to realize that I would see the Devil more often than God. So, now, if I'm ever in doubt, I read the Sermon on the Mount. Because that's where one finds what is Christ-like and what Christ would do. 😊😊😊

I totally relate to your testimony. The organized church is a harlot and you can’t fix it. It’s a business to many pastors. The truth of the Christian walk is to walk in a personal relationship with Jesus. That’s all He wants. Did He not say ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. I'm on about my 30th prodigal son journey, and yes the Good Lord is in the process of breaking me. I was called to preach at the age of 18, and I did start preaching, but then a divorce got me. My denomination, not all, but most, have been taught that I'm no longer fit for Preaching. Truth.
We have all sinned and fallen short. we can't change the past and Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow. So what do we really have? Today. Start today to walk and talk with GOD. I listen to Charles Lawson almost everyday. It's like getting preached at and being in bible school too. Also I love hearing ? H Clendenen. He has the Holy Spirit all over him. He is assembly of God but in the 1st 2 sermons I heard him preach, he preached against the most 6 common things that denomination believes in. Dr Ruckman is one of my favorites also. Several others.
Churches; give us fellowship, teaching, many helpful ministries; from praise and worship and children's work to missions. A venue to give and serve and a positive influence for our children ( they surely will be influenced by something). What a gift and honor that the Lord would be so merciful to allow us to participate in some kind of service for His glory. Of course there are problems... where are there not? You can find a problem anywhere you look. Work, grocery store, little league... even church. By far not an excuse to not go. Please, don't cheat yourself and your family. Go to church. Give, love, grow, serve, be blessed. Praise the Lord.

I grew up going to a church that had me terrified of God. The preacher was always yelling about how we're gonna all burn in hell. I never learned about the love of God. Fast forward to around age 54 I tried going to church again til the pastor started telling us that if newborn babies die without being baptized they will burn in hell. Never went back. Now 68 years old and I got saved around 8 months ago sitting at my kitchen table alone when I read that God is love. I burst into tears and I felt the Lord rush in. I know I was filled with his holy spirit at that moment cause after that came a hunger for God and for his word. Now I have a online church and pastor who actually teaches the gospel. Ive learned so much and God has been so good to me. Hes very patient and loving and Im happy. 🙏❤️😊

Yes! I left the assembly of God because the pastor loves Joel Osteen, duplantis. Copeland, etc. To top it off he ordained a female pastor. I now attend a non denominational church of about 40 members.. where the Bible speaks we speak. Where the Bible is silent we're silent. We follow to tv wolves and have the Sacrament every Sunday.
My husband and I quit going to church 10 years ago after we saw so much lying, begging for money, being shunned, etc. My family of origin is Baptist and they’re so mean, judgmental and stingy, etc. that we’ve cut ties. I read the Bible, listen to good preaching online, and stay away from most people.

I went back to the Book of Acts and I am now gathering in the homes of people who are tired of organized religion as well and it is the best decision I made. It's hard to find a church. The last one I went to I was on fire for God, volunteering, and working hard. But when you know the truth you can't settle or be complacent or compromise on the Word of GOD. Everything you were talking about was exactly how the last pastor was. When I left I had prayed and wrestled with searching my heart. But I heard in my spirit God is not the author of confusion. And I felt at peace with my decision. Im waiting on God right now for direction. Thank you for sharing.

I continue to go.. because.. though the words they read are Not as great as from the KJV.. the teaching is good.. and some in our Sunday School do speak out and read from the KJV aloud.. so it is NOT a total waste..
some have left the church and gone to other churches where the preaching is More liberal and watered down.. I have No desire to speak to them again.. IMO .. they are sad Christians.. leaving a semi bad church for a totally bad one... there is NO excuse for that...
Always pray for God to give you an understanding of the scripture when you read it. God's word does not lie. KJV is the one l have. There are many different versions ,but this one satisfies my soul better than any other version. God knows when we are serious or not. I have realized you can find fault in any church you attend. Some people go looking for faulty people.

Today's churches are watered down so nobody gets offended. 2 Timothy 4 is definitely at work, Christians really don't want to hear truth anymore, just things that make you feel good. The spread of an imminent rapture has made believers unprepared for tribulation that Jesus said would come for his name sake "even unto death".
I believe God has a different purpose for each person and not everyone fits into a certain denominational box. The key is a personal walk with Jesus.

Glad I found this. I recently went through a breakup with my wife with a personality disorder. She became cold and evil overnight and she broke me to pieces and left. I felt a dark presence coming from her and I was so shocked it woke me up to the evil spirits are here and looking to steal and destroy. I know there is a creator of things and I don’t trust religions. I have prayed asking for guidance many times but I geuss I’m not ready as I am still dealing with my emotional trauma even after 2 years I live alone and have isolated myself from the world with the exception of work. I will keep learning the gospel and hopefully become worthy.

We are not to be Lone Rangers. A commandment in the Bible is: "Forsake not the assembling of your selves together".I need other believers in my life so I do go to church. The church is a building for sure, but I don't worship the church building. I need other believers in my life although they may disappoint me. If other believers disappoint me, it doesn't matter because I will go somewhere to "assemble myself" with other believers. I also need to take communion with other believers. I am born again. I live in a major city. From 2003 - 2023 I visited over 150 churches of all denominations, backgrounds, doctrines.......Some I stayed at for 1-2 years and tried to get as involved as possible. What I found was that most of the people were not filled with the love of God. I usually left feeling discouraged. I witnessed so much materialism, political correctness, apostasy, legalism, and pride. However, when I pray alone or with another believer, read my Bible, listen to sermons from anointed teachers and listen to Christian music, I feel peace and joy. That's why I gave up on church. America is the Church of Laodecia.

The problem you will have is with Christ who has given the church authority over you and He is head of the church. And if you cannot submit to the church you will not submit to God either, it’s very important to be involved in the church.

This video really hit home for me; it's how I have felt and still feel to this day about organized religion. Most, if not all, Christian denominations claim that their way is the right path to God, and with so many of them claiming that, how could one possibly know which one of them is right? They all cannot be true. I spent years of my life growing up in the Church of Christ, then once I left it, I spent even more years trying out different denominations until I realized that there's only one truth, and it's this: John 14:6. Of course, I don't hate on denominations or anything like that, but I do think that often times they cause more harm than good; they sow more divisions than they do unity. Actually, the very body of Christ can be so hate-filled towards each other that it's hard for me to even stomach it, so could I really blame anyone for being turned off by it all? Thank God that people are not the judge of our eternal state; only God can judge us, and He already did through His Son. Jesus paid our debt; glory to God!

I went to a church sort of like that.. the Pastor was so kind.. he Never corrected wrongs in the church because he did not wish to offend anyone.. but when some snarky Young Sunday School teacher.. started teaching his teenage class that it was ok for teenagers to question authority of their parents..( he himself only having 4 grade school girls at the time)..
I put my foot down. .and had to tell the pastor either this teacher would stop teaching the teens to rebel against authority.. or we would have to leave the church..
Our teenage son.. had gotten so disrespectful to us.. we almost had to put him in a boys home because of it..
this young teacher was brought up in a Baptist home and his father was a preacher in a different city.. so I guess he thought he could teach no wrong..
not only that.. but he was a bit of a smart aleck always acting like .. us as parents getting upset over things seemed funny to him.. he would often kind of chuckle...about it in front of us..
Now this church has closed.. and he has gone on to a different Baptist church..
I will NOT ever attend a church where he is at.. I pray every day for his demise.. or some tragedy to befall him,.....

I could understand if I was living in sin.. and Not going to church.. but at the time this was going on... I was preparing bible studies for the adult class I was teaching.. leading the choir.. and faithfully attending and reading the word of God in the home.. and sharing this as often as I could with my children...and this teacher was undermining.. all.. the service I was doing fr the Lord.. by training up my children in the ways of the Lord so when they matured they would Not depart from it..
this one teacher.. ruined all of that..
My son is Now.. a philosophy professor... and mathematician.. in another state.. who questions the validity of God..

Amazing, wonderful testimony. As someone who got saved and walked a confused life, I also became a prodigal… the stony ground of my heart where the Lord planted the seed of his Word. After 40 years of watching the Lord intervene with His love and mercy, I finally surrendered. The Lord is full of mercy and love, if you turn to Him. I’ll never understand why he loves me, but I’m humbly His. And He gets ALL the glory, praise, and thanks. I didn’t get away with my sinful life… there are consequences that I deal with, and they’re all my fault. But the Lord is merciful to me and I’m cleaning things up. I’m so glad there are more people like me who humbly stand before the Lord with thankful hearts and testimonies. This video really hits home for me, and is a major encouragement to my heart. Thank you.

I had similar experiences. I grew up in the Baptist Church and it was nothing but one guilt trip after another. If I missed a Sunday, when I'd go to school on Monday people would ask my why I wasn't in church Sunday. We were expected to dress up with starched collars and sit perfectly still in the pew. The preacher would get up and tell everyone they were hell-bound and only Baptists went to Heaven. I thought where is all the love God is supposed to be about? After leaving home at age 18 I never went back to that place. I have bounced around to various churches and finally found a small one that didn't condemn everyone.
I don't think there is a perfect church. Glad your going to that one know. I go half a day on sunday and sing in choir, but my main focus is to surrender and walk with GOD one day at a time seven days a week.
We found the Lord during Covid and read the entire Bible during that time of isolation and after Covid was over many people would ask us, if we were going to a church. We tried going to many churches but something was always off. When we spoke people tried to argue with us about the Bible and something in our spirit was not right so we left. We been reading our Bible on our own ever since and keep on going strong. The Lord puts people on our path to help us along the way. It's been a beautiful experience we couldn't have it any other way. The Lord is so wonderful we has shown us walk not by sight but faith! 🫂✝️🕊️🙌🥹

I just celebrated with my church our church 50th anniversary, I myself have attended for the past 21 years, they preach from the Bible, holiness and standards, and those that knew me then, don't want anything to do with me, as I have turned my life to Jesus, my way of speaking, dressing, even my hair, my husband hates it, but I follow Jesus. In the town I live in, there are over 70 church because people have tickling ears, find your self an UPCI church, PLUS remember there is no perfect church only a perfect God. I love the thought of communion with believers but most regardless of denomination are weird. Now most are going to hell...the scripture says so. I have met some amazing preachers all the same. thank you for sharing. I will never forget calling a church on the phone and the person was praying with me and prompting me to speak in tounges.... And while it can be painfully difficult not to have the support of a church as a believer, there is no church for my wife and I presently. Our life experiences are indicative of the fact that most forms of what I call, “church American-style “, are devoid of the spirit of God and man made entities. We too have despaired over this to the point of death, but to take heart. Simply put, God wants you to know you are not alone in your experiences. and while many ostracize us, siding with their churches, pastors and fears, you are in a position to support many with your Channel. We stopped going to church two years ago. Either the denominational ones seem "dead" to us, or the others have pastors who spew prosperity gospel and are focused on money. It's sad. We love Lord Jesus. I wish there was a Calvary Chapel near us, because I know they teach verse-by-verse and don't pick and choose. We listen to pastors online who teach the whole Bible.
I hope you find a good church. There are no perfect churches. Yes mark and avoid preachers that all they talk about is money. I hope yaw at least meet some good christians to fellowship with. Prayers

@@DonaldDouglasJr I try my best not to "skip" as you say I do. I try to attend Church at least 2 times a week. I have taught Sunday school starting in the 80's. We have 24 or so in SS but average attendance is lower than that. Now a Deacon. Our Church is a smaller Church having less than 150 members. I believe a saved person (truly saved person) should obey Hebrews 10:29. People are looking for a Church that can best serve them. They should be looking for a Church in which they can serve in.

Grew up Christian & faded away from it until i went 2 Christian rehab where we read Bible from 8 to 12 everyday for a year..We did other things too but the best year 10 years ago i ever spent..But i went back to several churches w/division everywhere..I now understand church is a place to strengthen everyone's faith 🙏..my study group shut down for covid 19 so i took it as a group overall that didn't trust the Lord to protect them while we were there

I could only imagine how long one of his sermons would be?!?! By the looks of his surroundings it seems like the Lord has blessed him well. I am moved by seeing those without absolutely anything but the faith of a mustardseed. When your life becomes like Job's and against all odds you still keep your faith. That's when a real life situation becomes Biblical! Faith like good health or an innate talent is a blessing from the Almighty. Not everyone gets it! If you have it be grateful, be humble, be glad and spread the Word. Tell everyone that the One in you is greater than any of the ones in this world. Christ have mercy on us and grant us peace and understanding......Amen!

I pulled a 28 year prodical son. It left me broken. I lost all my peace and joy. Satan whispered in my ear, you ought to go ahead and blow your brains out. I sieriously thought about it. I slapped my self twice and said GOD I am going to church somewheres tomorrow. I did. I visualized myself putting my arms around the feet of Jesus and I asked him to help me. 20 years later I still am . He restored my peace and Joy. I walk with him now one day at a time
I have had similar church experience however I persist on going to church to worship my Lord most high and occasionally get preaches that are the salt of the earth so i encourage you to meet with fellow Christian s God bless

Thank you for being honest. I served as a deacon when I was young and in my 30s. I was actually too much a novice. Not raised a Christian I carried baggage that made my Christian walk harder. I was raised to speak truth against things that wrong. This didn't go well with some of the leaders because there was backdoor politics going on. In other some of the leaders were sneaking agendas into play and keeping the congregation in the dark. I worked long hours 6 days a week. We never missed a Wednesday night or Sunday services. One Sunday evening we missed training union and was chastised because we went there. There's too much legalism in the church I feel things like is a contributing factor to the denominational churches are losing members. Also when a preacher is notoriously telling people their going to hell it's because they are limited in their knowledge of the Holy word.

Doubts of salvation can result from lack of fruit or good works in our life which support our profession of faith.
The church can't save you, nor can water baptism. Only when you receive the gift of faith along with repentance should you have a reason to believe you've become born again.

If the church doesn’t follow the Lord’s word and the apostles doctrine in Acts 2 then find another church that does. If you join other people to study the Bible and pray, that is a church according to the Bible. I am returning to church after many years. It does encourage you to study and you get new insights or reminders from the inspired word.

Scripture actually calls us to Judge in various verses so lets don't cherry pick the Word. We are called to judge but we must do it without hypocrisy. We judge their words and actions but of course we cannot judge someone eternally. Only the Lord can do that! This is made clear throughout the New Testament!
Bro. Dennis, thanks for your video. I noticed you mentioned Fort Riley. My dad was stationed there in the mid 70's (1st Infantry Div.), we loved Kansas. Anyway, I understand what you are saying about church. Its unfortunate that much of what passes for 'church' today is either sensational emotionalism or outright entertainment. And, granted, some appear harsh, much like the chaplain you mentioned. However, the problem may not be church in general but church in specifics. Bad churches do not deserve members. Good churches do. Christ built (and is continually building) his church. A church is not a building (as many like to point out) but a people. But it is a people, not a person. The local church is created for edification of the saints, instruction in the Bible, and to be salt and light to the world. We can't do that alone, we are called to do it together. Christ gave himself for the church; its a big deal. So, my encouragement would be to find a good church, one preaching the gospel and fulfilling the Bible. It will be hard, but it is possible. You won't find the perfect church (or the perfect family, or perfect spouse, or perfect children, or perfect company, or perfect job, etc.) or one that you agree with on every point. Neither will I. But that's not the point. The point is to serve God in a way he has ordained. I hope you find a good church, one that preaches the gospel. Been watching your videos and they are very good. I thought I was the only one. I was raised in the Southern Church of Christ in Plainview, Texas. I remember all the sermons the Preacher preached were the letters of the Apostle Paul. Now, mind you, I had no understanding of the context of the letters, but there did come a time when I began to wonder why there were never any sermons on the teachings of Christ. I stopped going to church, but I kept reading the New Testament and not being able to make much sense of it. But when someone told me they were a Christian, then I'd see them doing things that seemed to be contrary to what I understood the teachings of Christ to mean. I kept studying the New Testament intermittently through the years while I never attended church. Then, when I did go to the old church of my childhood, at the age of 42 yrs old, again, no sermons on what Christ would do or have us do. But there were sermons about Paul teaching the evils of homosexuals, lady of the evenings. How to test the spirits and root out the ungodly and shun them. I learned that God could not be found in a church. In fact, I began to realize that I would see the Devil more often than God. So, now, if I'm ever in doubt, I read the Sermon on the Mount. Because that's where one finds what is Christ-like and what Christ would do. 😊😊😊

If they're disobeying by not going to church, they're probably disobeying by not tithing. You can bet on that.
Not wanting to give financially may be a big reason many dont go to church

They don't want to step on any toes in fear of the offering plate being shorted but the holy Spirit has got to have a opportunity to convict.
I totally relate to your testimony. The organized church is a harlot and you can’t fix it. It’s a business to many pastors. The truth of the Christian walk is to walk in a personal relationship with Jesus. That’s all He wants. Did He not say ““Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”

Just remember Elijah hid in a cave for 7 years.... because of the evil of the Israelites under King Ahab.... G-d told Elijah " I have reserved for myself a remnant" I grew up under evangelical teaching and it is pure evil... it took me many years to see that... G-d will never give up on a pure heart
It's very easy to be deceived from the evil one on the other hand GOD gives you discernment and enlightenment in these times

I'm on about my 30th prodigal son journey, and yes the Good Lord is in the process of breaking me. I was called to preach at the age of 18, and I did start preaching, but then a divorce got me. My denomination, not all, but most, have been taught that I'm no longer fit for Preaching. Truth.
We have all sinned and fallen short. we can't change the past and Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow. So what do we really have? Today. Start today to walk and talk with GOD. If you fall down, jump up quick and ask GOD to forgive you. Don't give up and don't let go. Don't do life without Jesus

I listen to Charles Lawson almost everyday. It's like getting preached at and being in bible school too. Also I love hearing ? H Clendenen. He has the Holy Spirit all over him. He is assembly of God but in the 1st 2 sermons I heard him preach, he preached against the most 6 common things that denomination believes in. Dr Ruckman is one of my favorites also. Several others.

Churches; give us fellowship, teaching, many helpful ministries; from praise and worship and children's work to missions. A venue to give and serve and a positive influence for our children ( they surely will be influenced by something). What a gift and honor that the Lord would be so merciful to allow us to participate in some kind of service for His glory. Of course there are problems... where are there not? You can find a problem anywhere you look. Work, grocery store, little league... even church. By far not an excuse to not go. Please, don't cheat yourself and your family. Go to church. Give, love, grow, serve, be blessed. Praise the Lord.
