- Big shout out to my boy Adam for letting me come out and check out his dope mopar collection and taking me out in his 2 insane Chrysler 300’s! One being a 2015 3.6L RIPP Supercharged Chrysler 300s and the other being a 2012 6.4L 300 SRT8! Its something about 300 that make them more enjoyable than chargers. They look so beautiful with body kits on them I wish they come back out with us version srt8
It’s just the luxury feel that they give I like the chargers because they’re more aggressive looking but for a daily cruiser I’d definitely get a 300
They look way better than the charger and wish that they would have also made it in a coupe, because I've never liked the new design and wish that they would have named it something else. I do like the newer design a lot more then the older ones though and they look pretty mean, but the name deserves better and am not a fan. Although the new wide-body looks badass, and do like it a lot better 👍🏼

As you are aware, good open flowing exhaust is a must when it comes to performance and have a good set of 3" pipes on my mostly stock 2010 Challenger SRT8. I'm running SLP loudmouth cat back 1s on her, and sounds great together with that 6.1
@@independent2368 I have a jeep grand cherokee 5.7 motor out took a year to finally get built and payed for . Bored out of course waiting on shop space to get in for motor. Took got ever but 9 grand is way too much I wanted to build myself but no real shops anymore in st.louis. that would just bore out my block . It use to be 20 bucks a cylinder now they want 2,000 to touch it. Ridicoulous. And I have a 2016 300 5.7 liter maybe twin turbo that tubos are at all time cheapest price . On cherokee powerstop disc brakes rotors calipers all upgraded drive shaft transmission eco with diffrent valve and rear end is same as srt8 tranny stronger axles in front and rear eibach suspension in front and back sway bars aswell. I want a belt driven fuel pump screw a electric one but I do have an upgraded fuel pump.

The reason that car is so slow is because of those heavy 22s and a 2.65 gear. My Ripped 300S runs 12.70s with 20s and a 3.06 posi. I like mine better than my 2014 SRT8 Charger.

Yea my AWD V8 launches beautifully and has 3.06... it launches with little to no traction loss unlike when I run it in RWD and launch.

That lil 6 banger maybe as quick with cheaters on it, but there's nothing like the sound and overall feel of driving a V8 👍🏼

@@ShotByZy yeah that's for sure man, no 4 or 6 will ever be able to match up with a V8. Especially the Hemi mills, and sound even better when paired up with a good set of fat pipes. I've got 3" on my Challenger, together with racing bullets. Which also eliminates the resos all together, and sound freakin awesome on it

Nice cars I mean some of best looking 300's I've seen. Scat packs is a whole other animal though. What you were doing in this video a scat pack would already be gone.
+Vtruck Thomas thanks for checking it out! And the scat pack runs a 1/4 in 12.6 at 112mph I believe and the v6 runs a 13.6 at 106mph, I don’t think that’s too far off considering it being a 3.6 v6 vs a 6.4 v8
Yeah those numbers sound good on a strip but on race and really opening up the 392 with the ripped v6 you will see the beast . I'm trying to say this there's a lot TH-camrs get these cars and mod their cars up but are not real drivers just squirters . Do a 1/8 mile and think they're expert . Honestly some of them actually are embarrassing the brand ijs. I'll say this when I had a 17 300s and wanted to supercharge it I was told to go and buy a car with the horsepower I wanted also have warranty. Most guys with a supercharged v6 get into a 392 they see the light and feel it. Nice whips once again they're crushing it out here.

Those are impressive numbers for a v6, I don't know about the newer RT's numbers. I have a 2012 Challenger RT with a CAI, throttle body spacer, cat deleat, resonator deleat, Diablo Tune, high speed limit off, and 0 to 60 - 4.74 (spinning wheels ) 0 to 100 - 10.1, top speed before running out of distance 155 mph, I just went into 5th at 153 and still had 2000 more rpm's to go. Give's you an idea of a lightly modified RT will do. You definitely have a quicker pull than I do from 115 to 135 great job!

Glad i seen this video i got a WP CHRYSLER SIGNATURE SERIES ITS A RARE 300 TOURING -6" LONGER WHEEL BASE SPECIAL ORDER EXECUTIVE EDITIONS ONLY SO MANY WERE BUILT AND SOLD. Now after this video im no longer on the fence i want to modify it make it even more Rarer it gots 3.5L HO IN IT

FYI the SRT8 does not have adaptive steering. The SRT is still hydraulic steering. The newer one is electriconic steering. If you ever take the SRT to a alignment shop, make sure they don't charge you to reset the electric steering because it doesn't have it. But the 5.7s and v6s do of the same year. Also, I'd be careful of this video and speeding. Adam openly admits going a certain speed and there is plenty of road signs to place him in a jurisdiction for prosecution. Always just film the speedo so they can't prove where it was at.

The kit is about $6k-7k usd but I’m not sure about getting it installed
Hey I like to have some information on whatever you did to the v6 to boost the power up on it I have 2018 300 s AWD and pushing the sport mode on the dash or the console puts my car and all wheel drive blow 39° it automatically engages my 300 is f8 green I didn't see it was worth just spend 10k for two cylinders and 60 horsepower bump

I did send a rod through the block two months ago.
But it was a record holding Audi. Stock engine stock trans 530hp.
But it blew up like the overrated pos it is. 🤷🏻♂️
I took my completely stock 2019 charger scat pack to the quarter mile drag strip a couple months ago.. My best run was a 12.3 and my worst run was a 12.5 so I wouldn't say a 13.6 is close to what a stock scat pack would run lol

Good to hear. Yep I'm an old Mopar man myself. I had a 69 Road Runner and still have a 71 Super Bee with 426 Hemi in the backyard, A lowered Dakota in the driveway along with my lowered 300C. You don't see those Shelby Chargers anymore. Even the older ones without the turbos were fun to drive, they handled pretty well for back then with a 5 speed and loud exhaust for a factory exhaust. Fun factor improved when the turbos came out! I had a Dodge Shadow Turbo I enjoyed for years. Yep for me its Mopar or no car until I die! Good talking to ya and keep the love my man.

Is there a difference from putting the knob in sport mode Vs just keeping it in "D" and pressing the sport button below the screen?
I’m not sure but I think the sports mode button will allow u to use the paddle shifters and the one on the gear shifter probably allows you to use the slap shift

Ripp really overstates the power of their supercharged V6 engines. I have their kit on my 2016 300S and my 2014 SRT 8 Charger will blow it away. They are great daily drivers, but a 5.7 with long tube headers and a Jay Greene tune will eat my lunch in the V6. I want to sell mine and build a stroker 5.7 into an all forged 410 with ported heads and a blower.

i own a 2013 300 srt with FBO (no headers) and tuned. and i can confidently say the cam and tune on his set up must be off because i feel like its taking him forever to get to 140 when he is doing that highway pull
If you’re going by the GoPro speedometer it’s a little delayed and not accurate but gives you an idea, I’d definitely be interested in seeing some videos of your build though that’s for sure!!! Sounds dope

I’ll take the srt all day. When you charge that there will be NO comparison. The 6 isn’t bad just not my style. You can’t beat the sound of a Hemi. I got a 07 srt charger that sounds ridiculous and I love it.

Yea they should have made the 300 line up like they did the others, 5.7 , 6.4 and of course 6.2 supercharged, the luxury feel of the 300 but the power of dodge is what made me like 300s in the first place and a Hellcat 300 would be crazy

I’m sorry but you are not making 400whp if you are doing a 1/4 mile in 13.6. My stock 5.7 makes 330whp and runs a 13.4 in the 1/4 mile. Clean looking car tho for sure! 👍🏽

Look bro people underestimate v6 american cars now fr. I'm a prime example of that; I've owned ls1 camaros, trans ams, couple 5 liter mustangs, and now I have a 2018 v6 camaro. You won't believe me but the 2016+ v6 camaro is actually faster than the 5.7 liter challenger and charger.
They might be quicker! But a 5.7 would eat it up in the long run! Plus the Camaro is way lighter with almost equal power
@@ShotByZy Yo I'll tell you something crazy; the RT challenger tops out at 153 mph and the 6th gen v6 camaro tops out at 155 mph. With the 8 or 10 speed automatic, the Camaro shifts so fast. I prefer the 10 spd to the 8 tho

Just picked up an 06 SRT with 51k for $400; came with a Corsa exhaust, headers and a tune. Smells rich on gas anyone know what that could be?
FNH CAT have you confirmed that there are no leaks from the gas tank or gas lines? I have a buddy that has a 06 SRT with 130k miles and he has a fuel leak and smells gas really strong
Shotby Zy the shop charged me a $150 to tell me it needed a fuel pump and that it would cost $1,600 which is bs!!!! I haven’t been able to find a leak but it smells only when the tank is full???
Hmmm I’m not sure then, do you notice any actual fuel loss ? Maybe your gas cap has a bad seal?? Any engine codes?

Shotby Zy no engine codes, no fuel loss; did a few pulls at 132 mph to 140 mph and the car purrrrs. It has a rattle sounds like exhaust when at idle.
