I just bought a 2014 5.7 V8 AWD My buddy has a rwd hemi and I can’t even tell you how much faster the awd model it is. A night and day difference for sure lol

I can see where the awd would be quicker off the line with all 4 wheels grabbing. I thought I read somewhere that the awd automatically turns off at a certain speed because it’s more hindrance than help once you reach that velocity.

Managed to find one of the only 500 2013 300s Glacier editions they made with the 5.7. AWD with the 5.7 hurts feelings, and it's still stock.

Nice. I always like seeing other 300. I have an all black 2013 300 V6 w/ a dark tint. It’s a great cruiser.
U need u ah peddle commander, it seriously boost ur 0-60 & acceleration speed lol. I have one for my 300s and it’s a world of a difference. The 300’s tend to have a sec or two of lag when u step on it & the peddle commander will give u all ur horses as soon as u touch the peddle. Plus it’s adjustable to ur liking easy install also.
Most def I heard bad things about it but anything with the pedal response ima get something good

I got the 2015 300s 5.7 hemi in the exact same paint & tint etc as the cat in the v6 & i bought it for $25,000 & it only had 11,000 miles on it & whoever originally bought it ordered it from Chrysler with EVERY SINGLE OPTION THAT CHRYSLER HAS 2 OFFER!!!

Dam even if the exhaust weighs starting at 50-150lbs would be noticeable while driving. I feel like my old 98 civic 25 pound muffler removed made me fast 🤣

cold air intake at most will give you 5 to 8 hp and straigt pipes will give at most with out headers about 5 hp with shortys 10 to 15 with long tubes about 15 to 25 hp and with a tune 25 hp thats it and thats on the 8 cyl not 6
so your saying the total potential hp you can add to the hemi is 70 hp?
Those changes are not cumulative. Think of breathing through a straw but the straw has 2-3 kinks in it. Each kink reduces airflow by 10 cfm. Removing them all will not give you 30 additional cfm.
Removing all 3 kinks will in the real world give you probably improve airflow more than 10 cfm, but not 30 cfm.
I own a 2013C..5.7..And this video shows the reason I never buy V6. If you need to get around someone on a two lane. I Love my Hemi

My brother and I dropped my exhaust to change my driveshaft on my 16 300s v6 and the mufflers were like 25-30lbs at most

Paddle shifters work fine, but if it isn't already in manual mode when you hit them the first time it just puts it in manual mode, then in the next hit they will shift. It still gets me once in a while when trying to downshift in traffic and I punch it and don't go anywhere haha 😆 😅 #300gang

Hey Grizzly, I heard you mention that you were burning 93 Octane in your 300S 5.7L. I recently picked up a 2009 300C 5.7L Heritage Edition, with low mileage. The engine code is EZH which makes it a 375hp engine. Reading through the manual, it says that it is optimized to run best on and recommends using 89 octane for maximum performance. It also mentioned that running 93 octane may cause it to not run as efficient. With the price of gas now a days, I thought that you might like to know this, and it just might help you run better as well... Your manual may say differently because your vehicle is newer than mine. Just a thought... Have a Blessed day and stay safe...

Anything is quicker with a supercharger or turbo just look at the 2.7 and 3.5 ecoboost little turd motors but with twin turbos beat some v8 cars

Have the hemi with the resonators removed and flow master super 40s. Thing sounds like a beast. Kept the resonators as resale you can get a few bucks or if you want to put back on. Hell, no reason to put back on. Haven’t looked back to these flows super 40s. His v6 is the same

Love the 3.6 vs 5.7 comparison!! I have a 2011 300c, 5.7, 5 speed. My freind has a 2015 300s, 3.6, 8 speed. We are looking to get em lined up soon to see what the extra gears provide.
Did you do it? I'm thinking of trading my 2016 300c with the by and 8 speed for a 2012 300c with the hemi and 5 speed. Both AWD
@@TheDicklander Haven't lined up with my friend, he's not a car guy, kinda dude that wouldn't turn off traction control. I did finally get to run with a 300S on the 401. Ran from about 100 ( 62 mph) to 185 (115), he got the jump but the hemi freight trained him!! While I ran him out I threw up a ✌ then 4 fingers on both hands!! We got side by side again and he gave me the biggest smile while shrugging his sholders like... what can I do. An amazing few seconds that I'll never forget.

It's a K&N drop in filter so you're really not going to feel any difference. I put it in my 300 and didn't notice a thing.

Why do you need a daily driver if you have a 5.7 or pentastar? They are daily drivers.
Put some sort of muffler or chambered ones to get that back pressure our hemis like there exhaust back pressure straight pipes takes away a noticeable amount or torque
That is because the exhaust pulses create vacuum and that vacuum pulls air into the engine during the overlapping of the intake and exhaust cam lobes. You are correct. At full throttle, high rpm, these chambers most likely reduce hp, however that would be at an engines speed most likely above what the ecu will allow anyhow.
