Today it's raining I'm jealous of the nice weather in the video. One more hour according to the weather app.

There is some squarebills that will "hunt" but its at a fast retrieve and ice always called it blowing out the bait lol. Some have started calling that a hunting/darting action.

Don't sleep on a jerkbait right now during shad and bluegill spawns. It also works in summer just off banks in a little deeper water, points or drop offs. I've caught a bunch of bass with a jerkbait when i see bass chasing bait fish in summer.

Thank you! I use an Arbor Knot to secure my line to the spool, and yes, I tye directly to my lures with fluorocarbon.
