I never imagined Roar having an orchestral composition but this was a feast for the ears. This coupled with Katy's beautifully raw vocals and that sea of a crowd made for a truly incredible performance.

Nailed it. The melody is very exposed in the verses and she held it down without any backing dancers or distractions in the middle of the stage. She held the big notes with confidence and used all the strong arm movements to add drama and impact.

Yeah she dodges the original high notes in this song. There are many pop stars vocally superior to her. From her era alone, Adele, Gaga, Rihanna, Beyoncé are all better.
If you’re classing her as one of the greats far from it she’s a good singer but don’t stretch it *a GREAT singer* *a LEGEND* is able to be on pitch and hit nearly every note even in their 70s-80s she gets pitchy and misses high notes I can understand why she dodged for such an event but yeah a great singer wouldn’t have to dodged it because for a great/legendary singer it would be effortless just like blinking your eyes you don’t have to think about it you just do it that’s a couple things that separates singers from sangers and autotune isn’t what you think it is it’s not a bad tool every artist uses autotune isn’t just vocal affects it’s pitch correction every studio recorded song has that to make it radio and streaming platform ready that’s a record it has to be mastered you think people just sing raw into the mic and dont touch it they just release it as it is because that’s not the case 4-5 decades ago sure but not now

Witness is still a masterpiece, i've never understood why it was received so poorly and why the hate bandwagon began. Much better than Prism and Smile which sounded a bit tired and derivative.

Roar is such an iconic song and it inspired and motivated me so much when I was little and even now. Katy Perry's music videos and lyric in general are very inspiring and her high notes nails every single song. She is the one who releases songs like this instead of the usual love story and heartbreak etc. Now everyone is doing but back then she was one of the few ones who made songs this iconic. I am so grateful that I could hear her music as I was growing up.

She absolutely stole the show last night and secured her place as an Honorary British Citizen.
As a vocal/singing professional, I noticed that she is taking extra heaps of breath unlike usual. This is not something normal for us vocalists to do. A contributing factor to this could be because she had a baby, which can affect the voice strength, however that was quite a while ago. Perhaps she was just nervous. Other than that, she really slayed this performance as usual :D
