She has done an excellent job, and it is noticeable that she must have rehearsed this performance for a long time. I don't think it's a coincidence that she was the only American singer invited to the event. She's a great entertainer with a golden heart.

The truth is she was so tired.. even her speaking voice was showing it.. you can clearly see that kept it up and tried to push.. normal artists will cancel their show or lipsync but she didn't.
yup, i prefer singer's raw voice like this. Besides, this is a stage costume. In such a grand stage, it isn't necessarily beautiful in every detail like one for a night party but should help her shine on the stage. This performance is great in my opinion.

The whole concert to me had a lame and empty feel. To quote another Englishman, "Much Ado About Nothing". I wonder if many entertainers didn't want to participate because they didn't want to be associated with the the monarchy. Lionel Ritchie, that's the best you can up with, only about 40 years past his prime. Katy Perry's voice was ok, but didn't seem quite up to the task. There seemed to be no real "vibe" or excitement as should be the case with a massive live performance. All the "excitement" felt contrived.
I think this is a really tough assignment, especially given that she's an American and not really an active singer. Everyone seemed to be enjoying it, I love her attire and makeup, and she brought the right energy. I say goodnight job!

I don't know how old Katy was when she first performed the song vs how old she is now. Age matters. Plus, in recording, they are able to make any modifications to make any artist sound absolutely perfect. Singing outdoors, after a flight, and an absolutely brutal song where one is expected to roar without the voice cracking? All things considered, she managed.
But it's true her voice not stable at this performance. Maybe she has health problem or else. It does not make sense if she is nervous since she was performing for more than 10 years.

I don't know how old Katy was when she first performed the song vs how old she is now. Age matters. Plus, in recording, they are able to make any modifications to make any artist sound absolutely perfect. Singing outdoors, after a flight, and an absolutely brutal song where one is expected to roar without the voice cracking? All things considered, she managed.
