  • Sound impression of a wonderful Martin D-28 Modern Deluxe East Indian Rosewood/Torrefied Sitka Spruce played by Manos Ploumidis. Recording was done via two Neumann KM-184 through a Beachtec audio interface into a Nikon D780. No effects, no compression, no nothing and then converted to MP4a.

Congratulations for your video. I have two Martin De luxe. One D-18 and one D-42. Amazing guitars, both of them!!! The sound of D-28 Modern De luxe to my opinion is something different of Martin's sound. Specifically, remember me the sound of Maton Messiah Dreadnought. D-18 and D-42 has the best Martin sound that i heard ever.

@@LennyBonapart Hi Lenny, thanks for your visit. I can understand a possible confusion with a HD but the Abalone Martin Logo, Gold Waverly tuners and Maple binding gives away that this is the Modern Deluxe version of the D-28. Killer dreadnought btw. Cheers from Amsterdam, Wil

@@LennyBonapart compared to the d-28 the HD-28 also has scalloped bracing.
