- DKC has some of the best levels in video games, so we're gonna look at some of our favorites (in no particular order).

These are all great levels, but my absolute favorite is Hot Head Hop from DKC2. The music, Squitter, awesome level design, yeah it's awesome

I always liked the design of Tree Top Town from the first one. Also, the racing roller coaster one from DK2 was mind-blowing when I was a kid. Such a cool concept.
The Conveyor Ropes level in DKC3 is my favorite by far.
It's such a neat idea and the music is my favorite in the game.
My favorite level is the Stop and Go Station
Second would be Millstone Mayhem
I also like Barrel Bayou and all the levels in gloomy gulch.
I like the darker atmospheres
I love the Monkey Mines
I could've done without the neckbeard

I have bad news TH-cam is full of them
Stormy shore and Tidal Terror (2-5 and 2-7) from DKCR are my all time favorite DKC levels. I love the ramp up from sunny beach to giant squid to giant waves. Its a shame that the numbers are out of order for that build up but they are consecutive on the map. Great companion levels

2 things:
1. I first thought there will be a "top 10 levels" per every DKC game
2. Where is Plataform Perils? >:c
Mine Cart Carnage, Ripsaw Rage, and Crowded Cavern all made me rage quit when I played them. Thank goodness there's that shortcut in Mine Cart Carnage that pretty much skips you to the end of the level (unless you're playing the Game Boy Color version).

+snomaN Gaming Yeah. I did a let's play on the GBC version of DKC, when I got to Mine Cart Carnage, I played the level a few times and failed. After that, I decided to do the shortcut, only to lose a live, and then I looked up the level and I found out that they took it out in the GBC. So I ended up beating it after countless attempts.

Kind of surprised you didn't have DKC's Snow Barrel Blast at least as honorable mention. The graphics, the music and ambiance, the fact that this made you want to rage quit over and over. It was great.

It seems you like the dangerous levels lol XD. I always liked the more peaceful levels...Stop and Go Station is my personal favorite...it may not seem peaceful, but at least you can kill Rock Krocs with the handslap in the GBA version so you can just relax and hear the horrifying ambience that I love
But I also love Barrel Bayou and Ghostly Grove, Kannon's Klaim, and Hornet Hole...aka the horror levels minus Kannons klaim horror is relaxing for me

That's a really great list, it would be way too hard for me to make a top 10 levels list, why? Well cause there are too many to choose from!
I'm not sure why, but I really liked Crystal Caves. And what about Animal Antics? You go through various types of areas with different animal buddies.

Rattle Battle made me want to pull all my damn hair out
Agreed. That level is probably my least favourite out of all the games. While there are technically harder levels like Toxic Tower, I'd rather do those over and over again than "Rattle Battle"
@@stefanpoirier6810 I like the level more now but, damn I do remember those dumb hitboxes on the jumping kremlings fucking me up a lot.
@@SleepyReapy32 It's not an entirely bad level. I suppose I hated it more when I was little, but it's kind of a bore. Plus , the controls were a tad stiff when trying to get Rattles to super jump, especially in Toxic Tower. Call me weird but I much rather do Web Woods onna loop for a level that drags.

Wow... you left out the absolute best level. the first water level in DKC1.It looked amazing, played great, and has the best Dave Wise music in any other level, Aquatic Ambience.
The winter levels were also very cool with all of the layers of snow.
Out of interest where does the voice for the numbered countdown's come from?

what about that level in dkc3 where you inside a drainage and gravity is non existent and the one where the rope is on fire(music was good 2), man dkc3 was very underrated imo
DX Impulse it is two water gravity levels you are referring to, Low G Labyrinth (green water) or poisonous pipeline (purple water). The fire rope level is kong fuse cliffs I believe.
Why did you put Sipsaw Rage quit on this list?
One issue, number 5. Crowded Cavern, hated never will like it. I'd rather have Rickety Race, Blackout Basement, or Platform Perils. Rest of the list is good though.

Who in their right mind could actually like the rocket barrel levels from Returns. Let alone that specific level its probably the worst PoS DKC level I've ever had the misfortune of playing. Opinions I guess.
I probably died on that level more than any other, but man was it memorable!
snomaN Gaming Its memorable to me too, for all the wrong reasons. But hey I'm generally someone who thinks the classic DKC games are untouchable by the news ones. If it was my list all the levels would be from 1-3.

Ugh, i hate to say it but that other guy made this pretty much unwatchable, i love your vids man, but his part during the 🚀/bat entry, just unbearable to the max unfortunately.
And i really wanted to watch this video, as DKC was one of my favorite games as a kid.
