In New York, I believe a civil case typically has 6 jurors and the bar is much lower than "reasonable doubt" and I think it has to only have the majority in favor of Ms. Carroll. It pays for E. Jean Carroll to give this another go. Short amount of time, 6 jurors instead of 12 = more money!!
The judge may provide a summary judgement of guilty and simply instruct the jury to come up with damages...

I feel like he knows that she wants to move on from this, to start a new chapter in her life, and THAT is why he won't stop defaming her. He doesn't want to let it go, because he wants to keep hurting her. He wants to keep punishing her, because she stood up to him, on that first case. I watched some of the Dr.Phil. I still have a headache! I somewhat understand the psychology behind some of the questions but they weren’t brought down to a child’s level so the dumpster could understand. He was being spoon fed but like any petulant child, he spit it out!

Trump had a jury the last time. That's how he got the 83 million dollar verdict.
Judge Kaplan had issued a partial summary judgement of guilty (since her previous trial had already found that he had defamed her) and the jury had to come up with the damages. I see no reason why a third defamation trial would not go the same way...
