He tried being a PM, he saw that it's not for him, they were about to do a vote of no confidence and so that's why he called the election to keep from being embarrassed if they were successful in a vote of no confidence

When Sunak stood for election of his own party, he was rejected. He only became leader because the person they voted for was even worse than he was, and he was next cab off the rank. He didn't even win a subsequent election as leader. he was just rushed in.
The Tories were NEVER going to win the next election because the electorate has stopped listening to them. At that point there is virtually nothing any party can do to get their attention again. So the only thing that could have happened had Sunak delayed the election for as long as possible is that he would have been ousted by his own party. By calling the election when he did, he will lose, but at least he gets to go out on his shield.

Israel has been led by Netanyahu for nearly 20 years.
If Netanyahu is some rogue agent who doesn't represent the beliefs of most Israelis, and his actions in Palestine are not reflective of Israel... is their democracy broken?
They can't both be a democracy with an elected leader for nearly 20 years... and also not be responsible or aligned with the actions of that leader.
They're a dictatorship where a person who does not align with the citizenry at all can maintain power for 20 years... or a significant portion of Israel agrees with what he has done... pick one.

Sure Primary schools do homework but there isn't that much & the pressure isn't there. Do they have a quite place to do questions 8 to 15 of algebra homework or do they have a separate computer or laptop to write a report on shakespear, etc. A wealthy kid might have their own laptop or have a separate dinning room to living room so they aren't distracted by their siblings watching TV after school for them to do homework in
