hope to see more laptops with this power
What are the compatibility issues that the users are mentioning?
It would be helpful if you did show us using it outdoors. I fear glare, not direct sunlight though.
Know anything about the ultra 9 model with the 32gb of RAM? Not seen any videos and was curious of the benchmarks before buying (waiting on student discount too lol)
I didn't use that model unfortunately
It don't have the numpad and without touchscreen
Good review. I like it.
Glad you enjoyed it

@@BinoshaTech I think he means ultra 9 there's a ultra 9 variant in the UK at least with 32 gig ram

MSI Katana 15 Intel Core i5 12th Gen 12450H - (16 GB/512 GB SSD/Windows 11 Home/6 GB Graphics/ NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050/144 Hz) Katana 15 B12UDXK-1005IN Gaming Laptop (15.6 Inch, Black, 2.25 Kg)
Is it worth it at 62k?
I guess you like it
yep!
Tried this laptop and it’s just not quite there yet. Returned it and got a MacBook that has better battery life, faster in all areas of how I use it.
What did you miss?
oh can u tell me more about your experince?
For standard office use it’s fine but I do video editing and it could not handle basic 4k video editing without major studdering issues. Even the old MacBook M1 Pro base model was able to edit 4k videos with ease. Also I tested it in gaming and got 20-30 fps on basic games so the 120 refresh rate on the monitor is pretty much useless unless you like browsing the web with 120hz… also when docked with a second 2k monitor the battery life was around 3-4 hours. Those were all deal breaker scenarios, but it’s fine for someone that is using only office products or web based apps.
@@PakmanR3 You're comparing this Zenbook that starts at 1000$ with a Macbook pro that is double the price ! (even the old M1 pro haven't got any cheaper though). This is not a gaming laptop / editing laptop because even though the new intel arcs graphics double it's performance from last gen, it's not suited for heavy graphical tasks. That being said, I agree that the M chips from apple are a blast in terme of performance/efficiency, but that's not needed for everyone, and certainly not the same budget.
Which application you use for video editing?
@@PakmanR3
it has issues as confirmed by other reviewers
What issues?
Yeah there's some compatibility issues
still cant play games on it better get asus g14
Unless you get last year's on sale...this year's G14/G16 are bonkers on their price.
Oh wow you mean to say a laptop dedicated for gaming with dedicated gpu can play games - asus g14? I don't think anyone looking to buy this is buying it to play games, but if they are then yes they should get a g14 or literally any other gaming laptop.
This is not a gaming notebook
Definitely if you want to game
