Had this for 2 months or so - fantastic all rounder laptop. Only 2 parts that I think it could be improved by is the battery life and the fan sound/heat when doing more than normal workload
Got the same model but with the Iris XE and it's superb obviously, monster CPU performance. I swapped the hard drive for a 990 Pro haha so it's a true beast now :) The only small issue is that the CPU is not clocking to it's full potential so I am losing out on around 10% of performance. I can't figure out what caused this but I will figure it out one day, hopefully
@@LoverOfTechyou really did! I need a new laptop my Mac is basically dead. But as you said, it’s not the best for longer 4K video editing. You gave awesome details 👏🏾
Hi mate great video I need your opinion on selecting a laptop as I am changing from a 2017 MacBook pro to something else and founded these two for the same price in my area. The Asus Zenbook S13 OLED has the Ryzen 7 7840U 16GB DDR5 Ram and 512 GB SSD whereas the Zenbook 14X OLED has the Intel core I5-13500H 16GB DDR5 Ram 512 GB SSD. I am a student who will keep this laptop for at least 5 or so more year and would mostly be used for school and light gaming which would be better for me? Cheers mate.
Just purchased this laptop. The usbc power plug fits very loose in the laptop usbc connector and flexes wiggles in all directions plugged in. It doesnt feel snug at all and seems like it will cause the port to fail in a short time if trying to use the laptop plugged in. Was yours loose also, or did I just get a bad one? Thanks for the video
This machine should be fantastic for programming. Very sharp 2880 x 1800 display will make reading lines of code easy on the eyes. The i7 processor is actually way more power than you'll need for programming and the 16gb of ram is adequate. 32gb is better but 16gb will be more than sufficient
Chromebook Plus laptops look great and affordable. Especially if you don't do powerful tasks & on a budget. Also please can you do a unboxing and review of the Steam Deck OLED. Im looking tj get one this Christmas. Hope you're keeping well 🙏

@LoverOfTech bro do u recommend it for a university student who is willing to learn video photo editing in the future and who is not a gamer

hellow mr. ive got the same laptop with a 512 ssd and my booting speed is around 16 seconds and is it normal
or is there something wrong in my pc
Great video Ben! Is this a new setup 🤔. The lighting is amazing. I was going to ask how this stacks up when it comes to 4K video editing.
Thanks, sis. Hopefully, I gave enough of a breakdown for the editing performance. It's better suited for photo editing and 1080p video editing

I think you got unlucky with a bad one because mine was fine
@@LoverOfTech thanks for the response
It's like both USBC ports on the laptop are 1mm to shallow. This power adapter fits snug in other laptop.
Thanks for sharing your review. Blessings on your day!
I could listen to this guy's Cockney accent and slang all day
Haha thanks
Does it have Fingerprint Reader???
No
I ordered one for me i7 variant in the Cyber Monday sale for $700. I want to use it for programming. Is it worth it??
I am not a programmer, so I can't say. Sorry
