I tried to rescue a puppy with toxoplasmosis once ... It was so heart-breaking seeing the disease taking over and eventually hear from the vet that "there was nothing more to be done" ... And then, 10 years later, watching this video of a dog who was not only fortunate to get through it but actually becoming a one of a kind, awesome dog! It's incredible to see. Thank you very much for sharing!

@@BuffaloNickel9 it's the least I could do - food, shelter, vet services ... Whenever needed. Toxoplasmosis is a terrible disease, all we can do is help. At least now (after this video) I believe I'll have a bigger motivation to help a dog with this condition again :-)

She was a stray dog I don't think she was beaten. Toxoplasmosis dogs usually become infected
by eating raw meat that contains tissue cysts or by eating cat feces containing oocysts.

The thing about this dog is the gratefulness.
It will never walk or run normally and it will never be as fast as other dogs.
But it's still just as happy.

My cat I rescued from the street has a condition like that. I knew she wouldn't survive like the other strays. Just like Sarah my cat doesn't let anything stop her. Animals with special needs are amazing pets.
This is the most heartwarming Dodo story I can recall. The natural voice-over by Sarah's mom was the perfect complement to these images of the girl who never gives up! My heart is full. 😍❤️🌹
I never tire of seeing these poor animals who have the heart and help to turn things around and make it to a better life. My one wish would be that All distressed animals get such a chance.
Yet again the dodo is doing Gods work with raising awareness, thank you so much for showing there's good in the world

Pray for my senior I rescued, 13 yr old BabySimba...she had a prolapsed uterus, little part of her tongue chewed off by another vicious dog on the streets, a permanently twisted foreleg ...she's with me since 3 years...happy being indoors and outdoors. Pray for her continued good health. God bless you and Sarah and all your rescued ones abundantly.

That walk run skip jump dance walk she has is absolutely beautiful. That smile on her face and her beautiful loving personality has me in tears. I love her! All she ever wanted was love, care, and safety and she has it all. She loves life so much.

Despite the hell this poor dog went through, there is nothing wrong with her! She just has an adorable bounce! I would LOVE to have a baby like her! She is so lovable, cute and funny! You are so lucky to have found a baby with such spirit!

dOGS are such awesome creatures!! They never fail to amaze me of their need to love and be loved! and they're loyalty has no bounds, even after being abused they still show their loyalty to humans ,I guess it's one of the reasons they got the title of man's best friend!

just bring tears to my eyes watching her trying to walk then progressively wobbly walk and subsequently bits hopping. A very happy girl in the end who will love life.
The thing that makes me happiest is a a poor animal that has been abused and then is found by a caring person that gives the animal a good home and love. Nothing can top that.
