For anyone considering buying the cookbooks: would highly recommend it! I made so many of these TH-cam dishes and they were all great. I have a full pantry of all these Asian products now. Thought it was about time to actually buy the books. Did not regret it. So many great dishes and the books are beautiful as well. Wil, please keep making awesome plates of food for us. Thank you so much 🫶

Coming to this channel every Thursday afternoon to figure out what I'm going to cook for Asian Noodle Thursday is now such a part of my life, I've decided to invest in a broccolini farm.
I think Wil is one of the few chefs out there that I would listen to when he's cooking. He does not ramble on and on, he actually explains things so well and very informative, and not to mention his tone of voice is just perfect !!! Thank you Sir for being awesome at what you do !!
Oh my, this brings back memories. I'm half Japanese and grew up on military bases, so mom always made yakisoba out of a dried Chinese noodle that is kind of like soba noodles, and Bulldog brand tonkatsu sauce, because that's the closest you could get to the regular ingredients on an American military base. (plus the usual meat & veggies, of course). When dad was stationed in Germany in the late 70s/early 80s, we met a Japanese violinist living in Germany playing in a German orchestra who told us that he made yakisoba from spaghetti and A1 brand steak sauce. FYI, in my opinion, yakisoba is best made on a flat-top griddle rather than a wok. Put the noodles in first and leave them undisturbed on the heat to get a bit of Maillard crust on the noodles. To anyone wanting to experiment with fusion dishes, keep in mind that Italians put the salt in the water, but Asians tend to put the salt in the noodles. If you salt the water and cook Asian noodles, you'll end up with something too salty. Always read the package instructions when cooking with an unfamiliar noodle.
This is really close to my usual noodle stir fry! I usually cook the noodles for two minutes less than the package calls for, and it is amazing how they soak up the sauce and make up for the fact that I usually can’t find any food noodles in my rural location. Love your channel!
Woow firstly I'll say this you're a clean and neat person when ever you chop you do it nicely and clean i always hated chopping 🙉 and didn't like veggies but when i watched you chopping i even bought a knife that looks like yours. Thanks for the videos they changed me.Lots of Love from South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
The music accompanying this video is so beautiful and relaxing! I have been a fan of the channel for a couple of years. Love everything about it. Especially the ruby red chili oil! I made it and it is addictive! Thank you for bringing some stress relief to this very scary time in our world!
so relax to watch you cutting vegetables, everything is clean and organized... my kitchen looks like a tornado hit it after cooking, even a simple dish :)
I think i'm gonna freestyle this a bit for the sauce, i'm using soy sauce with a bit of chili garlic sauce for kick Instead of veggies, i'm doing ham bacon & wakame
i discovered your channel only a few days ago, but cooked three different noodle-dishes already! your videos are absolutly amazing and such a pleasure to watch. thank you for your inspiration when it comes to relaxed plant-based cooking!!greetings from munich!
Just made this and it was so delicious!! I also tossed in honey soy firm tofu which brought it to another level. I like how the spaghetti works so well when tossed around, it doesn’t get sticky like Chinese noodles do. Thanks for the tutorial!
This is beautiful. I always seem to have a handful of spaghetti with little use. Love the veggie combination. I always find a chopping tip in your dishes that are great. Thanks.
I actually did this recipe tonight with a bit of a twist to it. I took Bob's Red Mill TVP crumbles and added it to some broccoli and peppers that I was stir frying. I stir fried it all in a little bit of butter with some garlic, scallions, red pepper flakes, and added a mixture of vegetable broth paste, mushroom oyster sauce, soy sauce, and a bit of the cooking liquid from the whole grain spaghetti that I used. Tossed it all together and it made a really nice sauce. Reminds me of some of the local ground pork noodle dishes. Added a little bit of fresh cilantro at the end and it was perfect.
Omg Fantastic ! Another wonderful recipe i will keep . Thanke you so much my Dear . I could watch and listen to you forever . If you only not always made me so hungry ! 😃😋yesss !!! iam a Foodie ! Looove to cook healthy dishes like this . And most of all I looove to eat ! 😄😋
Thankyou Wil just love the way you describe how to cook your wonderful meals. I need to be gluten free and rice noodles worked perfectly with this recipes. Love from Australia
Thanks for posting an elegant delicious dish that's easy to prepare! I substituted palm angel hair noodles for the spaghetti. There were NO leftovers......😊
Need to try this. I'm a big fan of hot noodles. I like him with chicken in them, but the overall idea is really good. This goes on the list. Thank you for sharing! And I will look into your merch.
Love so easy, I done my this when you want a quick something to eat in a hurry! Always learn things from u .. Love tip the oil on the spaghetti!! Appreciate u!
Yuummm!! I had lost the urge to cook and appetite to even eat. Yeung man and the look of that meal has just aroused every food urge within me. Nice vegetarian plate! Thank you, men!!!
After following you for quite some time, I finally took the time to read the description of the video. Now I can explain (to myself) why I am so drawn to your work: it is because of your background in the visual arts. The aesthetic of your products, including the videos, is very appealing. I always watch the videos multiple times. Once for the overall feel of the video, the camera angles etc, second for the recipe, and third for the products. Do I sound creepy yet? Lol
I always watch the videos several times too. I keep going through them to find something to cook but I can never make my mind up lol. Great recipes which don't break the bank, once you have most of the spices. Buy one a week or so and you will soon have a great spice cupboard like Wil's. From Bernadette
Made tonight with what we had to use up, had to make a few substitutions (a little sugar in our regular soy sauce without dark etc). What an easy dinner though! Tasted like when you get chow mein in cardboard box from a street vendor. Great for a quickie. Discovered mamasita does a vegetarian(vegan) oyster sauce too which is cool!
I made this with egg noodles and shitake mushrooms instead of broccolini, but with the homemade chili oil I had made from Wil's recipe, and it is SO GOOD! Was quick, easy and I am so glad I found yet another use for the chili oil, because I made so much of it. :)
I am enjoying the flavors and textures of this dish right now♥️. Aloha, I had to let you know, Wil that I no longer want to eat the Italian spaghetti sauce as it is just too bland next to hot chili oil and toasted sesame oil. I had mushrooms about to go bad and oh, boy, were they delicious in this. Mahalo, Joy
Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe. I will be making this tomorrow for dinner. I just subscribed to your channel... It's been extremely hard to find a plant base/ organic/ vegan healthy meals to prepare.
I recently decided to turn vegan (was plant-based) and I thank GOD I discovered your channel!!!! All of your recipes are easy to follow and the vid style is clear and neat!! love them!! I'm sharing your channel with all my friends and I look forward to what will come :))))))))
Thank you for explaining the vegan oyster sauce 😊 turns out my curious brain had to have some the last time I went to my neighborhood’s teeny tiny Thai market. Happy to cook something like this, I’ll probably have to make another batch of chili oil first (it’s great).
Thank you for sharing all your wonderful recipes I really appreciate it! When you have a chance could you please tell me what type of frying pan that is you're using so I can try to get one that I know is a good quality
