Whenever I go to Disney World, I run to the EPCOT Guerlain boutique and smell all the beauties because this house makes me so happy. So for obvious reasons, Guerlain makes me think of snacking on my favorites from the French pavillion, tartine aux fromages and sipping mimosas. That was where I tried Double Vanille and I think Tonka Imperiale too. I also really like Mon Guerlain, very unique for a "people pleaser" fragrance. Want to try everything tbh! I am loving my new bottle of Shalimar Souffle (the lumiere flanker), and Insolence gives me so much joy.
I went through a travel size of Angelique Noir, and that's definitely going to be my next full-bottle purchase. For summer, I also LOVE the Herba Fresca and Teazzura Aqua Allegorias. I dont really love either of the Shalimar Flankers I've tried (Souffle de Lumiere and Souffle Intense) and the 2 bee bottles I have are Idylle EDP and Insolence EDP and I think they're beautiful in their own right, however, I don't gravitate towards them. The last one I have is Mitsouko and I reached for Mitsouko last winter at times on gloomy sad days , and on warm bright, cheery days in the winter I would wear my Chanel Coco EDT. I would apply each very sparingly of course lol, so I have a feeling I'm gonna love Mitsouko this winter to ease my melancholy heart lol.
I have been meaning to try Idylle for ages. My sister and I used to make our own "perfume" out of the Lily of the Valley in our back yard as kids. Meaning, we crushed them up and mixed them with water 😂 and thought it was fabulous. I've found it hard to get a good Lily of the Valley perfume but I have hope in Guerlain's abilities 🙂

Guerlain is my house. I love all of my Guerlains. However, I think if someone pointed a gun to my head and said choose one and only one, it would be L'Heure Bleue. Of course I also love many others including your favourite, Tonka Imperiale, which is a brilliant Thierry Wasser composition. Also adore Gourmand Coquin, Angelique Noire, and the brilliant Encens Mythique D'Orient, another astonishing Wasser composition.

When I smelled "Santal Royal" (part of the orient line) I became obsessed with it ..it's incredibly difficult to find a full bottle..i went through many samples and recently bought a decant (gone now) but i pick up that empty decant probably ten times a day and just sniff its remnants out of pure addiction.
Love all of the Aqua Allegoria collection and wear them in spring and summer, I'm addicted to those fragances. Habit Rouge is also one of my favourites. In general Guerlain fragances are masterpieces.

Aww thank you! I don't really have a routine tbh. I only use soap and water to wash my face. That's it. Makeup is just eyeliner and lipstick. Less is more imo :)
Gourmand Coquin is my absolute hands down favorite, then Shalimar Parfum Initial and Mon Guerlain. If I could pick 3 those would be it, I recently fell out of love with almost all my other Shalimar flankers like Souffle and Souffle Intense, and I don’t care for the leather in original Shalimar. Angelique Noire I have a decant and it’s almost exactly like Eau Duelle EDP but I prefer Eau Duelle.
I'm wearing Guerlain Spiriteuese right now :). The tobacco/incense note is prominent on me with the boozy vanilla in the background, but I always crave it when I don't wear it for awhile. Something comforting about it. My favorite is Guerlain Coquin

I spot a huge Diorella bottle in the background - is it a factice or an actual eau de toilette? I love those houndstooth bottles. Very tough to pick 3 from a catalogue of hundreds! I'll pick three with an honorable mention. 1. Vol de nuit - extrait 2.Shalimar - extrait 3. Apres l'ondee - eau de toilette. The edt is hard to find, let alone the extrait. Honorable mention: Eau de Guerlain.
I cannot believe Elixir Charnel Gourmand Coquin was not in your top 5! ECG Coquin and Double Vanille are in my top 5 of never, E.V.E.R being without frags. In fact, I own 2 back up bottles of each and thank goodness because they both have been discontinued and why I will never know!!!! But I consider myself very lucky to have the backups I do have! : )
Oh no! I heard GC would be discontinued but then soemone told me in a comment that it's not, and that they're just transferring it over to the bee bottle. And SDV??!?! That makes me so sad! :(
I’ve tried so many Guerlain fragrances and I strongly disliked them all. Insolence, every variation of La Petite Robe Noir, and Mon Guerlain are horrid to my nose. I can appreciate Shalimar but it’s too mature for me right now. Am I the only one?

I have never owned a Guerlain perfume, they’re not very physically accessible for me to smell. I know I detest Mon Guerlain and think it’s very basic. What is a good ‘starter’ Guerlain that is representative of them, or even better, where can I find samples?
Aside from Samsara ages ago, very beautiful......I haven't tried anything else. I am ordering AQUA ALLEGORIA Mandarine Basilic, the Body Lotion, as this is a blind buy. Arlene mentioned and it sounds like a keeper.

Guerlain is a favorite house of mine. Herbs Fresca and Cuir Beluga are my most loved. Tonka Imperiale is also up there.

Took me several random samplings in store to “get it”, my husband really enjoys it as a bedtime fragrance on me
It didn’t last long on me. I liked it for bedtime. It was soothing, and I was asleep before it disappeared. For lavender, I prefer Chanel Jersey.
