Former Marshall wide receiver here. We watched Randy lose to Charles Woodson as well. Granted Michigan actually won a natty, still felt like a gut punch. Rooting for you guys to make noise in the CFP!
I was emotionally invested in Boise State basketball during the 1-2 COVID years. I think this was a result of 1. The rest of the world somewhat being on hold, 2. Boise State football being a mess and giving us nothing to emotionally invest in. 3. Big Shot Shaver heroically winning multiple games in a row. I thought this was going to be the new normal for me, but this football season reminded me how much more I (and the fanbase in general) care about football. And like Mark, after the 3rd straight Tournament loss, I felt foolish emotionally investing in that team when the outcome is always the same.
Joel Klatt is indicative of why Jeanty lost. He voted for Hunter. While he said Jeanty was a huge talent, Hunter was doing something never before done. Never mind Jeanty's yards are (or will be) something that has never been done before as well. He, and the other media heads were transfixed on the fact that Hunter simply played both sides of the ball, regardless that he was not the best either way.
20 minutes before the Heisman ceremony started, sports center was showing Travis Hunter highlights and talking about how amazing he was, and didn’t mention one single other player. ESPN has been doing that all year. As a Boise State and Nebraska fan, watching Nebraska mop Colorado, I thought there was no way he was going to win the Heisman. He had maybe a few actual game changing plays all year. He got lucky a few times with picks, and had good games late in blowouts.
Great show again guys! Exciting times for a Bronco fan! Matt, maybe think about putting the pics behind you up a little? I keep looking past you to see who they are. 😂
While watcing the Boise State vs Saint Mary's game, I thoght Keene was gonna take a shot at the opposing basket off that rebound. Glad I wasn't the only one seeing that.
Hunter got any award they could give to him. Hes not even the best at any one position. Losing the Heisman is going to motivate Boise State. I feel sorry for whoever they play win or lose.
It's alright hunter is going to be forgotten in a year or two. Some kid is going to put hunter in the shadows by doing g what he did but actually be at the top of stat charts. People are going to be chasing jeanty for the next 30 years. Hunter is going to play in the first quarter in the Alamo while jeanty is breaking records in the playoffs. Hunter is top 5 when you drop all g5 schools and only when. The portal is built around school don't forget they are students first. I read somewhere 90% of transfers won't graduate because the credit time doesn't always transfer so ultimately it's a generation of students that went to school and got nothing out of it just some time playing ball
I AGREE COMPLETELY WITH MARK ABOUT BASKETBALL. For whatever reason, we are never ready for the tournament games or some big games! Why??? 😩. We don’t seem to be ready emotionally and how can you go from shooting lights out to you can’t even make a layup???
Theory for you to consider... NCAA uses a Wilson ball while all season the MW uses Nike. Haha everything counts everything matters! Look at other MW bball schools like USU. They have 1 win (last year) in their 10 tries in the NCAAT since 2003. Hard for football first fans to understand, MBB is different.

One of Matt and I's main things we have in common...cheesecake factory.
We will always have the Cheesecake Factory!

Also, as you said, the media has lost so much credibility for so many reasons. There is such a huge disconnect between the media and real people.

We'll get it sorted out next episode so you can see more of them. Thanks for watching and for the great comments!
Nice lighting, fellas.
We're getting there. There should be even more improvements for the next episode.
Is Herd Bros Jordan Kaye's long lost brother? The resemblance is uncanny
Could be... we didn't check. Maybe next episode we'll reveal the results. Stay tuned!
I couldn't believe it, but Dan Patrick voted for Jeanty!!! I thought when he was interviewing Dillon it sounded like he voted for Travis
Zak Hill is coaching with the Seahawks

I need to go back and re-watch it. Looked very odd at first glance.
So does Chris Marshall still exist?? Is he the friggin Keyser Söze of BSU????
I keep wondering the same thing. What is up with him? Did he burn his last bridge or is he injured???

Jeanty got robbed... Heisman is a joke!
What’s the east side project?
What were the other three Heisman candidates doing while their team was on defense sitting their ass on the bench

Mystery going on for more than a decade now…
