      @@ComicPower Well that's the thing, he wouldn't have put up those numbers at a division school. There's no denying he's a great back, but the defenses he was playing this year were flat-out abysmal. I watched 3 Boise State games this year and that was some of the worst football I've watched. The defenders were slow, sluggish, weak, and undisciplined. For reference, I watched the SJSU, Nevada, and UNLV game. Penn St was the first REAL defense he faced. People love to bring up that Oregon game, but that was before Oregon was fully healthy and before they started playing well. Every time Oregon went against a competent rushing attack, they surrendered over 6 YPC and like 200 yards rushing. Ashton has some of the most insane contact balance you'll ever see, I give him that. I think he forced 16 missed tackles in the Penn State game ALONE, which is crazy. But people are trying to compare him to Barry, Barkley, and Henry coming out of college. He's a solid tier below them.

      He is a beast, he had a great year but generational my guy? Derrick Henry put up 2200 in the SEC. We see a RB go off like this every 5-10 years Never in our lifetime have we seen a player start on offense/defense and be the best in the country at both. Travis Hunter is the definition of generational.

    • @MiamiU4
      @MiamiU4 26 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@objective_evaluationproblem with your comparison is Bama had a gauntlet of weapons, to include multiple RBs, that you had to gameplan for and Henry actually wasn’t even the best bama back. With Jeanty and Boise state, they literally have no offense outside of him and yet he still produces the way he does. He single handedly kept Boise state stride for stride with the #1 team in the country. He had 2500 yards, only about 150 short of Barry Sanders record, and there were atleast 3 or 4 games where he didn’t play the 4th quarter at all, so it’s very reasonable to say that he most certainly could’ve broken it (barring injuries). Yes what Travis has done is certainly historical as well, but to act as though what Jeanty has done is commonplace is just disingenuous

      I won’t say generational. There’s been a 2000+ rusher every 2 years and in tougher conferences, with less carries. Jeanty gets way more touches than most which isn’t a knock tbh. Travis is a true generational talent because successful two way players are rare to come by.

    I really think he's the best ever at positioning his body to take contact and deliver stiff arms. They seem effortless, and the WAY he runs helps preserve his body. You don't see him taking hard hits, because he just lightly bounces off of people that try to hit him hard. It takes a full wrap up tackle or a lucky trip to bring him down. Best tackle breaker in the history of college football, with speed, power, and balance to back it.
    He will destroy the NFL and expose poor tackling. Just watch.
