I watched 3 Boise State games this year and that was some of the worst football I've watched. The defenders were slow, sluggish, weak, and undisciplined. For reference, I watched the SJSU, Nevada, and UNLV game. Penn St was the first REAL defense he faced. People love to bring up that Oregon game, but that was before Oregon was fully healthy and before they started playing well. Every time Oregon went against a competent rushing attack, they surrendered over 6 YPC and like 200 yards rushing. Ashton has some of the most insane contact balance you'll ever see, I give him that. I think he forced 16 missed tackles in the Penn State game ALONE, which is crazy. But people are trying to compare him to Barry, Barkley, and Henry coming out of college. How do you teach this? Its like his body is always in just the right position that you cant wrap him up.

I really think he's the best ever at positioning his body to take contact and deliver stiff arms. They seem effortless, and the WAY he runs helps preserve his body. You don't see him taking hard hits, because he just lightly bounces off of people that try to hit him hard. It takes a full wrap up tackle or a lucky trip to bring him down. Best tackle breaker in the history of college football, with speed, power, and balance to back it.
He will destroy the NFL and expose poor tackling. Just watch.

I don’t think people understand how elusive this guy is and the fact that the moves that he hits on people will work on mostly anyone, that’s why it’s absurd the disrespect he gets, but people will see in the playoffs when he has success against one of the best defenses in the country,
