7:23. 16:41. "Thunder and lighting" Great interview! I joked for weeks that any team that gets Penn State essentially gets a bye week. However i was just teasing. Penn state congratulations on a super solid win. Extremely talented team. 31 27 boise beat penn but for my prediction to come true boise will have to play the game of their lives. As a boise fan i am looking forward to seeing penn state show their excellence on the field. I do think it will be a very tight exciting game. Nothing but respect intended
I can tell I'm old considering I was at the Fiesta Bowl in 1987 what a game that was down to the last play and seen us win the National Championship. I never would have thought that would have been the last one we would've won. Hopefully I can live long enough to witness 1 more
Well I can tell you I'm a former attempted walk on at Boise State. My brother played as well. and it is my alma mater. I can tell you we all know who you guys are and we are excited to play Pen state, one of the most historic football programs in all of college football. ! We know what you're capable of and we know we're going to have to play our best football to even come close. We all respect and apreciate y'all, looking foward to seeing our boys go toe to toe. For thoes of you who don't think we have a chance i don't blame you. Not one bit, but i hope you have a diffrent prespective of our football program after we compete. I'm hoping there's a mutual respect, because y'all know we love the thoes lions over this way. Whoever advances will win the national title, you watch! If it's you guys I'll be rooting for y'all! Good look and god keep watch over all theses boys and keep them all safe. Good luck Penn, i sure hope it's a good game!
I love how Franklin never misses a chance to reinforce that football success needs all hands on deck. You can't blame the coach for institutional and community failings.
@@egorgiawireless3954 Uh, James Franklin has always been a stand up human being and a great coach. Though he hasn't had success against Ohio State. It will happen sooner than later. Great interview. I have been a fan since Franklin's success at Vanderbilt. I hope he gets the chance to stay and beat Ohio State and Michigan on a consistent basis.
Yeah, these are just dolts that can’t even explain what a Cover 3 is. They are lemmings that want to hear themselves, miserable people actually, to feel empowered. They aren’t Penn State fans, rather just looking to hinder the program.
in today's world of robotic interviews from all of these coaches no matter what sport. This guy is so refreshing. And I am from Oregon, love him as a coach but it's nice to get real responses to the questions and not just ready made canned answers
I played for Coach Koetter at Highland High School my senior year after moving from Michigan where I grew up. Interesting you coached at ISU where I went to college this was probably before your time Class of 88 I'm sure you remember Maril Hodge he was a teammate on our 83 team. Believe it or not Maril wasn't our starting RB Doug Mac Adams was he got a scholarship to Montana unfortunately his father died in the summer of 84 so he never went. Despite going to ISU where we hated Boise State later in life I became a Boise State Mega fan. Fact is it's started not in 98 but 97 because of Big Ten officials who gave Wisconsin a second 4th down in the final minute of the game. But once Coach Koetter took the HC job and with what he did in his 3 years there it was only a matter of time before the Meatchickens treated Llyod Carr so horribly and fail to Jim instead of RR and the fact they would even consider that fool Miles well I want you to know 2 things one I was pulling for you to be SMU two I was there in Indy surrounded a by all your fans in 2016. Better luck next time.
Maybe former WA Husky great Napolean Kaufman was simlar. They were about the same size. Jeanty and Napolean Kaufman could run away from defenders and break tackles. Both were strong runners and fast.
I think the Penn State Fiesta Bowl stat at the beginning was that Penn State has the most wins without a loss. USC has won the Rose Bowl 25 times, which is the most.
@@Ehle2 I think they said on a recent live ad read that CAT isn't offering trips to the Fiesta Bowl. Either sold out or not happening, idkk, but they're selling Orange Bowl trips, so it's the advertiser, not the show doing it.
This is correct. Collegiate Athletic Travel chose to prioritize the potential of the Orange Bowl over this trip. With the new model of college football, most fans have to make choices. They've gotten feedback and most Penn State fans are waiting for the chance to see the team play in the semifinal.
Press Conference number 75 of petitioning for the firing of Jimmy "Boise State is so good" Franklin. Beating Boise State isn't impressive, as they don't have remotely the roster that we do. Let's beat a real team, then talk.
@touchdownbroncos It's not really him, but you guys who will act like boise is a big win for us. But still, setting the bar at beating boise, who might finish at .500 in the big 10 is crazy
@austincopenhaver2488 Kind of. Georgia is down their starting QB; it depends on how the backup plays. Notre Dame is a team who I put in the same tier as PSU, a team that doesn't have a proven coach. Only difference is that we have more talent. We'll see is what I'm saying, but a natty visit doesn't seem outrageous.

They had better come up with a game plan against that RB for Boise St. He is a stud, easily a top 10 draft pick. Let’s go State!
I like the banter at the very, very end 🤣🤣
