Never used it before so I came here first to prevent looking like an utter buffoon at checkout. 😅

This came in clutch today because I didn’t have my debit card to pay for something and Apple Pay saved me today. It was my first time ever using it!! 😂
Today will be my first day using it. I left my damn wallet at home 🤣

There are so many Apple users in India now. Please make Apple Pay available.
And for people saying we have better options like UPI, Samsung mobiles have Samsung Pay and it supports Cards, UPI and Wallet.

Apple Pay should integrate UPI system for Indian consumers. A native upi payment app can be really helpful.

The number of iphone users have increased significantly in India. Though with UPI channel here there's less incentive for people to use Apple pay. Even number of POS machines is decreasing with shopkeepers. But Apple Pay sounds exactly like Samsung Pay, and Samsung pay is here since such a long time.
i think it has to do with rbi regulations not sure though

What about Apple Pay on Mac without Touch ID in the integrated keyboard / Magic Keyboard for Mac with Touch ID sensor? How does it then work?

I mean let's be honest Apple Pay is a wonderful tool and is save bit it's no a normal way for paying things outside the US. It works fine but if you live somewhere else basically you will not be able to use the service

To the best of my knowledge the 3 biggest retailers refusing to adopt Apple Pay are Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart. Unfortunately simply boycotting these 3 would not be practical for me and many others.
They're not refusing to adopt "Apple Pay." They're refusing to adopt NFC payments (Tap to Pay), which also includes Google Pay, and Samsung Pay, and others, who existed long before Apple Pay.
Maybe they are with Samsung 😅
Apple Pay doesn’t properly work in EU.
I’ll give examples :
It works well with most stuff like paying in stores instead of using a physical debit card .
However it doesn’t work when trying to order from The Apple Store ( online ). Asks for a CREDIT CARD despite having a debit card linked . And since here in Europe credit cards is not something normal people need to use, it’s puzzling .
When trying to put some of my purchases that have Family share ( like movies and apps I’ve purchased by Apple ). Despite of my having funds put on my Apple ID ( from which my subscriptions and inapp purchases are handled). It refuses to let me do family sharing with the listed family members I have because it wants “ a credit card linked to the Apple Pay”.
My experience is from the Netherlands.
